After waiting anxiously for more than half an hour, the sound of a car closing was heard outside the house.

Then heavy footsteps sounded, and Ethan heard something was wrong. He quickly put his hands behind his back, and the Python revolver flashed.

The door was pushed open and Hood appeared at the door.

Seeing Ethan's embarrassed look, he suddenly burst out laughing.

After Ethan put the gun back into space, he grabbed a pillow and threw it at him.

Hood caught the pillow, pushed it aside, and wiped the tears from his eyes.

"You two, just take your time and play, I'm leaving."

Siobhan stood up from behind Hood holding a pillow. She said apologetically:

"Sorry, he saw your car outside and insisted on coming in to take a look."

Under Ethan's murderous gaze, Hood suppressed a smile, turned around and left, and soon there was the sound of the door being closed.

After Hood left, the room fell silent.

Siobhan hugged the pillow, sat on the edge of the bed, and looked at Ethan sheepishly, not looking murderous at all when he left.

There was dust all over her body, the corners of her mouth were swollen, and the knuckles of her hands were damaged. It looked like she had gone through a fierce struggle.

"are you OK?"

Ethan cleared his throat, breaking the silence.

Siobhan clenched her fist, and there was a stinging sensation on it, but she felt extremely happy in her heart.

"I feel great, better than ever."

Siobhan grinned lightly and said with firm eyes.

Being abused by Bliss in the past has always been a shadow in her heart, and the huge scar on her shoulder reminds her of what she has experienced all the time.

After that, she chose to join the Banshee Town Police Department because she wanted to make some changes through a career change.

Now that Siobhan had shattered this shadow with his own hands, he felt relieved.

"Where's Brees? I hope you didn't really smash his balls. You can't lose your job because of this garbage."

Ethan sat up, leaned against the head of the bed, and continued to ask.

"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. I just broke the arm he hit me with tonight."

Siobhan took a deep breath and said with relief.

Ethan nodded and didn't ask how the matter was handled.

Hood's ability to send Siobhan back means that the matter is within his control. Don't underestimate the authority and ability of a police chief. If pressed, it is not impossible to challenge departments such as the FBI.

"You won't be angry with me, will you?" Siobhan asked anxiously.

Ethan shook his head. Since he knew that Siobhan chained him up for revenge, he had no objection.

Some hatreds need to be solved by oneself, and others cannot help.

It's no big deal if Hood sees him, and he doesn't have any moral integrity.

He shook his arm, and the handcuffs clanked against the bedpost.

"Untie me quickly, I'm thirsty."

Siobhan stuck out his tongue, quickly took out the key from his pocket, and opened the handcuffs.

"By the way, how did you notify the police chief?" she asked curiously.

Ethan was well prepared, took a picture of his cell phone in his trouser pocket, and then looked at Siobhan with twinkling eyes.

She noticed Ethan's eyes and suddenly felt something was wrong. She quickly stood up and wanted to run away.

"I said, can you run away?"

With quick eyes and quick hands, Ethan quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her back. Siobhan fell on the bed.

She wanted to get up, but was controlled by Ethan.

Siobhan exclaimed, pretended to struggle, and then stopped. She looked at Ethan with a smile on her lips and said:

"What do you want to do? Do you know that you are attacking the town police?"

Ethan gritted his teeth and said, "It seems that you attacked me first. Regarding this, we are even with each other."

He showed the cuffs in his hands again, "I'm a person who wants to avenge myself. You just trapped me for more than half an hour. Now I'll lock you up for an hour. That's not too much."

Siobhan pursed his lips, and after thinking for a moment, he obediently stretched out his hands.

Ethan smiled with satisfaction, then unceremoniously put the handcuffs through the bedpost and cuffed both her hands.

After flexing his wrist, he walked straight out of the living room.

Regardless of Siobhan's call, he found the bottle of red wine left last night, opened it slowly, took a sip directly into the bottle, and then lit a cigarette in relief.

He returned to the bedroom, sat on the chair at the end of the bed, crossed his legs, and the cigarette butt in his hand flickered.

Seeing Ethan like this, Siobhan pushed his feet against each other, loosened his shoes, and then flicked them, causing the shoes to hit the wall next to Ethan.

She grabbed the handcuffs and looked at Ethan defiantly.

"Then what? Just cuff me?"

Ethan stood up and grabbed her ankles, "Of course not. I couldn't do anything just now. No matter what I want to do now, it's not too much."

Siobhan's chest rose and fell sharply, and he bit his lip.

An hour later, Ethan walked out of the living room in a cheerful mood and took out a can of beer from the refrigerator.

He grabbed the ring with his fingers, and with a "bang" sound, the beer bubbled out, and he took a pleasant sip.

"Get me a bottle too."

Siobhan's hoarse voice came from the bedroom, and it was a bit lazy.

"Wait a moment."

Ethan responded to her casually, then took another can of beer and closed the refrigerator door.

When he was about to go back to the bedroom, he stopped.

His eyes were attracted by something hanging on the wall. He raised the corners of his mouth, grabbed Siobhan's town police uniform, and strode towards the room.

The next morning, Ethan stood up again with great energy.

There was no other way, Siobhan put her thigh on top of him.

"Are you awake?"

Siobhan moved his thighs slightly again and whispered.

He turned sideways, and Siobhan was blinking at him, still wearing the same shirt from last night.

The dark blue town police shirt made her skin fairer, and Ethan took the cigarette from her mouth.

"Smoking is bad for your health."

He shook his head and puffed out smoke.

"what time is it now?"

Siobhan glanced at the alarm clock next to him, "It's still early, how about we exercise again?"

Ethan put out the cigarette butt on the ashtray she handed over, nodded and said:

"Exercise is good for your body."

After another sweaty exercise, the two of them went to the bathroom to take a shower. Siobhan noticed the scar on the back of Ethan's thigh and knelt down to check it for him.

"Is this from last time? Your scar is not big and can be repaired. I have a friend who is a doctor in New York. Do you want me to contact her for you?"

Although the place where Martin stabbed him has healed long ago.

But the scar never dissipated, and Ethan didn't really care about it at first.

Now that he heard Siobhan say this, he also became interested, so after taking a breath of air-conditioning, he whispered:

"If it's not too much trouble, please contact her for me. Hey, look at your teeth."

After the two lolled in the bathroom for a while, they drove to the police station.

A week later, Siobhan took a business card and handed it to Ethan, saying that he had made an appointment for him and could come at any time.

Ethan looked at the business card, Mary Sebastian, and there was a phone number and address on the back.

With nothing to do, Ethan simply took two days off and had some fun in New York.
