My Girlfriend is a Zombie

Hi all, there’s a release today but I come bearing some…not so good news along with it. Please read everything below as its all very important.

Ever since I started TLing MGZ, I’ve always done so with the intention of hopefully bringing it over to one of the big sites like Volare or WW. However, with the state of things now and the potential threat of legal action looming over my head, I’ve been forced to rethink my plans if I want to continue TLing.

To that end, I’ve joined Volare to work on a new novel called This MC is Kickass, which you can get a small sneak peek of  while I continuing to translate MGZ. But…

While I’ve been able to manage both my full-time job and TLing MGZ just fine so far, the addition of the new novel makes it difficult for me to find time to TL it and also maintain the current release rate for MGZ. However, dropping MGZ is the last thing I want to do, so I’ve decided that the best compromise would be to split each chapter into halves. Today’s release is the first of this new arrangement and contains the first half of chapter 76.

I also have to serve in the army for a brief period of time from 3rd July to 14th July, so there won’t be any releases during that time.

Of course, I know some of you may be disappointed, as this means that releases are going to be even slower. So while it pains me to do so, if any other TLer is interested, they are free to take over the series from where it’s currently at, but I’d appreciate it if you sent me a message about it first.

If anyone doesn’t want to deal with the hassle of setting up their own site and dealing with admin issues, I’d be happy to offer hosting on my current site along with any TL help/editing needed.

That aside, seeing as each release now only consists of half a chapter, I’ve also decreased each chapter’s donation goal by half to $30 permanently as long as the current chapter length remains the same.

While regular chapters are free, donated chapters are “paid” for, in a sense, so I will never shirk my responsibility of bringing them to you guys ASAP. Hopefully, that allays any of your potential concerns ?

TLDR: Chapters will now come in parts and I will be away from 3rd July to 14th July. I am currently working on a new novel from Volare while still continuing to translate MGZ. Donations have been permanently reduced to $30 per chapter as long as they remain at their current length.
