I took a little bit of time to reorganise my items.

After collecting the loot from killing the outsiders, I slowly began organising them into the various different sections of my inventory. It was a nice addition which will definitely be useful later. At the moment, I wanted to rapidly increase my power, as things were likely going to get a lot more competitive once Killer Winter ends.

I decided to sell their weapons since I had no use for them, I managed to get 21 more Tokens in total as a result.

The night was soon approaching as well.

Suddenly, I received a notification, it was for the first time in a while that I levelled up again.

[You have levelled up!]

Rewards:

- [SYSTEM UPDATE!] !!!

- More Crafting Recipes

- Inventory space [Infinite]

~

Well, inventory hadn't really been an issue in a while, but I guess it'll never be an issue anymore. The more interesting part was the 'system update', I wonder what that meant. There was a brief moment where nothing happened, and all of a sudden, more words appeared in front of me.

-

<SYSTEM UPDATE>

(Your system has undergone some changes in relation to your behaviour)

(This is to reduce the total amount of information present and make critical changes)

___

>> Critically Changed:

- Minion Recipes have been altered <--

(Now, there are only 5 main types of Minions: [Scout], [Warrior], [Builder], [Woodcutter] and [Miner], however, all of these Minions can be educated to specialise and learn new skills.)

~

- Minion Recipe Prices have changed <--

New Prices:

[Scout Minions] - NO CHANGE (5 apples, 2 meat)

[Builder Minions] - 1000 stone, 1000 wood, 10 meat

~

- Minion Buffs <--

Warrior Minions are now much stronger

All Minions will have more specialisations

~

___

-

Wow, that was a lot to take in. It seemed that there had been quite a large overhaul on many of the features of the system. Now that I thought about it, I wasn't really sure if the system was sentient, not only that, I wasn't really sure what the laws of the system were. Was there a higher power controlling it? I didn't really know.

There seemed to be a buff to the Warrior Minions, although the recipes for all the Minions were significantly more expensive. However, I was somewhat excited to hear that there were going to be specialisations for Minions which weren't Scout Minions. I guess it's been changed so there's no need to keep track of so many Minion types.

I guess many of the features that I hadn't been using ended up getting removed.

I didn't understand, there must have been some sort of sentience in the system, right?

This world is still a mystery.

Anyways, I went back to organising my inventory

-

<Inventory (Mining)>

[124x] iron

[84x] gold

[19x] diamond

[2x] platinum

[76x] rocks

[14x] ultra-hardened stone

-

I already had a pretty large number of ores, but I guess I was increasing it further. I probably should look through my crafting menu for items to craft with all of these ores, maybe Chloe might have some better crafts.

-

<Inventory (Miscellaneous)>

[x1] Light Sphere

[x1] Fishing Rod

[x1] Enhanced Fertiliser

[x1] Music Player

[x2] Music Disks

[x2] Enchanting Orb

[x5] healing potion

[x3] freeze grenade

[x2] fireball

-

There were several more items which I hadn't seen before, but for the most part, I could deduce their purpose.

-

<Vegetation/Wood>

[x5908] wood

[x100] leaves

[x208] meat

[x96] wheat

-

Finally, I added more wood to my already extremely large collection.

My Token balance was now at 103 after I had spent quite a lot during the past few days. I was now basically back up to the amount I had at the beginning of Killer Winter. My situation was now quite good, I had lots of resources and plenty of Tokens and I was also self-sufficient for the most part.

In the next few days, I'm hoping to make some rapid progress, hopefully breaking into the top 10 humans. I wanted to consolidate my strength, I had plans to expand my zone of control once Killer Winter ended.

A few moments later, my Minion Manager made its way over to me.

[I've got the end-of-day report]

-

<End of Day Report>

Total resources gathered:

- [x3609] wheat

Other:

N/A

~

With the extra resources, I decided to think about what I was going to craft today. The prices of many of the Minions had changed, but I was quite curious about the Warrior Minion specialisations, especially since they had been buffed.

I already had one Warrior Minions so I had a look at what I could specialise into.

-

<Learning (Warrior Minion - Stage 1)>

- Intelligence Variant

- Brute Strength Variant

- Technique Variant

~

There were 'variants' to choose from. At the moment, I decided to just pick the 'technique' variant since it sounded like it would be good for close 1-to-1 fighting, which was what I wanted my Elites to do most of the time. I had lots of magic-oriented Scout Minions to take care of large groups.

Now that I thought about it, I didn't know why there wasn't a specified mage Minions, I could only learn magic through the Scout Minions. I didn't really understand the system, but I guess I'd work with what I had.

I also had an Advanced Warrior Minion which I could also specialise. I took a little time to think about it since I only had one and I didn't really know how to get more.

-

<Learning (Advanced Warrior Minion - Stage 1)>

- Magical Samurai

- Dark Knight

- Immortal Warrior

- Varangian Guard

- Isolationist Ninja

~

There was no explanation for any of the specialisations. I didn't want to commit to one just yet... since I only had a single Advanced Warrior Minion. I'll take a bit more time to think about it, although the different specialisations were quite interesting.

There were some pretty big changes to my system.
