Myriad Paths

Chapter 531 Heavenly People

In a few months, Li Qi traveled 150,000 miles and visited twelve countries, each with its own different scenery.

The mountains, rivers and products are different, and the customs are different.

Along the way, he passed various Buddhist sects, and Li Qi also killed a few of them.

Some small countries are no more than a thousand miles from east to west and more than 600 miles from north to south, but they are rich in products, such as rice and wheat, including japonica rice, grapes, pomegranates, pears, pomegranates, peaches, and apricots. Li Qi ate a lot here Familiar fruit.

On the way, we also saw the birthplace of dragon colts, called Dalongchi. It is said that dragons changed their shapes and mated with females here, and dragon colts were born. There were many dragon colts here, and the strong ones were difficult to control, but the dragons The son of a colt is easy to tame, so there are many good horses in this country.

There is also a country called the "Zhiqianni Country". The land is full of sand and rocks, the trees are sparse, and there are few flowers and fruits. The temperament is cold, the customs are rough and courageous, they tolerate killing, commit to stealing, do not know etiquette and justice, do not know good and evil, are obsessed with future misfortunes, and are afraid of disasters in this world, so they are cruel and unkind to the outside world, and often plunder, but they are also extremely pious and possess all their wealth. There are not a few people who offer incense.

Some are similar to Zen wise monks. They cultivate both Buddhism and Demons, emphasizing a bloody horror. The countries under their command are violent, ignorant of sins and blessings, ugly in appearance, vulgar and devoid of etiquette, and ignorant of learning skills. However, they are afraid of Buddhist monks and like to use blood sacrifices to please them. Monks and Buddhas are also good at making 'five nectars'.

When Li Qi passed by, because he hid his cultivation, he was ambushed by the opponent, who wanted to catch Li Qi and refine him into blood and bones.

So Li Qi killed them all, shattering their souls and preventing them from reincarnation.

Li Qi was also very confused as to why he did these things...

It is said that it is the dual cultivation of Buddha and Demon, but there is neither Buddha nor Demon, and neither Buddha nor Demon is so low-level.

The demonic path is indeed abominable, even to the point of being hateful, and is hostile to countless people, because the demonic path itself is based on the suffering of other practitioners.

But the ability of the demonic monks and their power are enough to make other orders recognize their status, and even allow them to occupy one of the nine places in the world.

Even the devil disdains things like blood sacrifice, robbery, and offering incense. It's like the difference between a petty thief and a big thief.

Buddhism, on the other hand, is even less likely to praise this kind of behavior. This so-called 'Buddha and Demon are one' is really so low-level that neither party wants it.

However, Buddhism does not care about temporary death or life, so there are no special measures to deal with them. All rights and wrongs will be clarified with time.

Not to mention the life and death of these ordinary people, many Buddhists in the past liked to be reincarnated ten or even nine times. For example, a man named Jin Chanzi finally attained enlightenment after ten reincarnations. To them, life is not So important.

It is precisely because of this kind of thing that Buddhism almost completely ignores these things.

Since they don't care, then Li Qi will take care of it.

We also killed a lot of people along the way, but it didn't matter anyway. Since death is not the end, killing people will naturally not be a sin.

Although killing someone seems to be a Buddhist commandment... I don't know what they think.

Anyway, Li Qi is not a monk, so it doesn't matter, he doesn't care about these things.

Kill if you have to.

Because of these things, killing people, sightseeing, listening to Buddhist teachings, etc., he was delayed on the road for about half a year, but after half a year, Li Qi finally arrived at his destination.

This is also the location of the connections that Lord Lingxiao introduced to Li Qi.

Tajini day.

Because it was introduced by someone, Li Qi searched for many documents and internal classics in Wushen Mountain, specifically looking for the introduction here.

After going through many twists and turns, I have a preliminary understanding of this place.

Tajini Heaven, also known as the Pure Land of Dakini, is in charge of the legendary Baichen Fox King Bodhisattva, or according to Buddhist custom, she is directly called 'Tajini Heaven'.

It is a small custom in Buddhism that some powerful persons who do not have special titles are usually named after the "heavens" they control.

Baichen Fox King Bodhisattva is in charge of the Dajini Heaven, so we call her Dajini Heaven, including Mahakala.

The real name of Mahakala is Mahakala, and he is called this because he is in charge of Mahakala. Others include the auspicious heaven, the great freedom heaven, the great Brahma heaven, the thoughtless heaven, and the infinite sky, all of which are like this.

Dajini Deva himself is a descendant of Mahakala and one of the Yaksha ghosts. He has the supernatural power of freedom and is one of the four deities worshiped by the gods. Huilin Yinyi 35 said: "Tujini is the general name of ghosts, those who can charm people and communicate with them."

Baichen Fox King, like many Tianbu people, has a bad past. He was later enlightened and converted. He can predict the life and death of others. However, he once liked to feed on human hearts and was extremely filthy. He was a strange monster with a bad reputation. But until now, he has not caused any trouble, and he must have corrected his evil ways.

It is said that she was originally a bewitching queen who brought disaster to the country. In ancient times, she bewitched an ancient human emperor, causing huge turmoil, which directly led to the human race being penetrated by the heavens. A large number of human race powerful people joined the Shinto or died.

Therefore, after some twists and turns, he was beheaded by the human race. Although his body was chopped into pieces and his soul was annihilated, some of them still managed to escape and escaped to a small island in the East China Sea. They turned into ghosts and evil spirits, and were finally killed by Mahakala. Surrendered, took refuge in Buddhism, and became today’s Wisdom Dakini, Baichen Fox King Bodhisattva, and Tajini Heaven.

And the place where Lingxiao Flower God introduced him to Li Qi was right here.

It is said that Li Qi forgot the name of the handsome fox monk who accepted him in Fengde Temple at the beginning. He came out of the Tujini Heaven.

It's a pity for this monk. Li Qi actually had a good impression of him, but it is said that he died in that demonic attack.

Fate is unpredictable.

With this in mind, Li Qi came to the Buddhist temple in Tujinitian.

The location of this Buddhist temple is in the country of Wuzhanna. It is more than a thousand miles away, with lush trees, luxuriant flowers and fruits, mild cold and heat, and gentle wind and rain. It's just that his human nature is cowardly, his worldly sentiments are treacherous, he likes to learn but does not work hard, he prohibits mantras as an art, he likes to wear white clothes, he respects Buddhism, he believes in Mahayana, he has eighteen thousand monks, and there are many temples of Baichen Fox King Bodhisattva.

Li Qi casually came to a temple, just like an ordinary pilgrim.

However, he followed the method of Lord Lingxiao and sat up cross-legged in front of the statue of Baichen Fox King Bodhisattva, lit incense, began to meditate, and recited mantras.

There were quite a few monks around, but seeing how familiar he was, those monks didn't step forward too much. After all, Li Qi looked like a veteran at first glance.

In fact, he is indeed a proficient person. In the past six months, he has visited at least a hundred temples. He is already very familiar with what to do and does not even need to welcome visiting monks.

While chanting sutras and burning incense, he observed the Bodhisattva statue of Bai Chen Fox King Bodhisattva. Li Qi could see that it was generally a kind-hearted female statue riding a white fox. It looked similar to most Bodhisattva statues, but a little enchanting. But generally speaking, it is dignified and decent, and one can sense a solemn spirit from above.

Li Qi observed the Bodhisattva statue. As the incense burned, smoke filled the surroundings. The blue smoke enveloped him, and his spirit seemed to be blinded.

Li Qi immediately stopped reciting Buddhist scriptures and looked around.

Unknowingly, the surrounding Buddhist temples disappeared, and it seemed that only this Bodhisattva statue was left in front of me. The world outside the green smoke seemed to have disappeared.

It really disappeared.

Outside the green smoke, there were originally those monks, pilgrims, various creatures, and buildings, but at this moment they all turned into nothingness and turned into pitch black. No traces could be seen anymore. Li Qi opened his eyes wide, trying to find some clues, but still Nothing can be seen.

This insecurity even made him want to unblock Zhenzhiyun.

However, he still held back and continued to chant Buddhist sutras slowly and waited seriously.

This darkness lasted for a while.

After a while, the light smoke dissipated, and a lot of fragrance suddenly appeared around him. It was not a kitschy fragrance, but a very fresh and elegant fragrance of vegetation.

The surrounding scenery also appeared again, and the Buddhist temple reappeared, but the monks and pilgrims disappeared, and it seemed that only Li Qi was left.

Li Qi got up from the futon, only to find that the Bodhisattva statue in front of him had also changed.

He is no longer that kind-hearted person, but has become... extremely, coquettish?

Li Qi couldn't describe what it looked like, because... it was very mixed, but it was undeniable that... it was extremely beautiful.

It is not the usual solemn statue of a Bodhisattva, but instead a statue of a beautiful woman.

Cross your hands upward, hold each other, raise your head, push your chest and waist forward, and sit on the lotus platform with your lower body. Various mixed flowers are used, incense is burned, oil lamps are burned, flags are covered with wonderful music, and the posture of sitting in the lotus position is knotted.

If it were an ordinary Bodhisattva statue, this posture would be normal. Li Qi knew that this was a special physical practice called 'Yoga'.

However, the posture of the Baichen Fox King Bodhisattva is too enchanting. He is obviously doing serious things, but it seems not serious...

Li Qi thought he was calm and immune to ordinary temptations, but when he saw the Bodhisattva statue, he still felt something was wrong in his heart.

She is indeed a witch who has brought disaster to the country...

I heard that before the other party achieved the status of Bodhisattva, he was able to seduce human kings, and he was a typical peerless demon king. This was already the case at that time, and now that he has achieved the status of Bodhisattva, it is specifically stated in the Buddhist scriptures: "He can enchant people."

It's just a statue, that's all. That's really...

Li Qi shook his head, forcing himself to look away from Du Jinitian, then walked to the entrance of the Buddhist temple, opened the door and went out.

The moment the door was pushed open, a strong light bloomed outside.

Li Qi suddenly felt his body was light, as if he was no longer bound by gravity.

This is... an empty line?

As the light gradually got used to it, Li Qi opened his eyes again. Everything in front of him was so dreamy.

The land is on the water. The water stops at the wind. The wind stops in the air. Strong winds in the sky sometimes arise on their own and turn the supreme wheel.

Floating in the sky are elephants and horses, treasured carriages, golden wheels, palaces, famous clothes, and delicacies.

There are countless heavenly beings living freely in it. Their clothes and food are all fragrant and fragrant, and they all have flags and subtle sounds.

The houses, houses, palaces and pavilions in which they live can be described in various shapes, heights and sizes, or one, two, or even countless treasures, and they can be found at will as long as they want.

He also covered the land with wonderful robes of many treasures, and all gods and humans walked on them. Infinite nets of treasures covered the Buddha, and they were all covered with golden pearls, hundreds of thousands of miscellaneous treasures, and wonderful treasures.

The heavenly beings float happily in the sky, enjoying everything at will, without any sorrow or worry. Some are talking about love, some are singing softly, some are enjoying delicious food, some are drinking fine wine, and some are Every deity enjoys painting creation to the fullest.

This place is full of unimaginable richness in the world. There are beautiful goddesses wandering around, and sweet heavenly music is played all the time. The graceful flowers and leaves are lush, the fragrance is dense, the fruits are numerous, the light is pure and sweet, the seven treasures are everywhere, gold, silver, coral and glazed Beautiful cities are built everywhere.

Compared with the rest of the world, the scenery here is even better than Chang'an.

Li Qi looked at all this, and it seemed like a life like the legendary paradise.

Yes, those beings here are ‘celestial beings’, or ‘celestial beings’.

These heavens, such as the Tajini Heaven, the Great Freedom Heaven, the Emperor Shakti Heaven, etc., the living beings in them are called "Heavens", which are the "Heavens" among the eight divisions of heaven and dragons.

"Heavens" are all living beings living in various "heavens". Their lives are much better than those on earth, and their life spans are much longer.

You can see the superiority, look at the beautiful scenery around here.

There are endless delicacies and houses made of the seven treasures. Heavenly beings live freely in them, without worries or sorrows, and are very prosperous.

but……

Li Qi has chatted with people like Sakyamuni Draba more than once in the past six months, and has also read many Buddhist scriptures in depth. Naturally, he also knows that gods do not always enjoy themselves.

Devas are still in reincarnation, but their previous life's practice has achieved results, so they can reincarnate as devas and enjoy a happy life.

If they don't seize the opportunity to practice, then when they die, they may fall directly into hell and endure the suffering corresponding to their current happiness.

When the life span of heaven and humans ends, it is the so-called "five declines of heaven and humans".

Their clothes will be filthy, their hair will wither, their armpits will sweat, their bodies will be stinky, and they will not be happy in their own seats. The graceful heavenly joy will no longer rise, and the natural light radiating from their bodies will gradually fade away. Other gods and goddesses will also Will leave him and eventually make him die painfully.

Although devas have no suffering when they are alive, if they indulge in pleasure and do not correct the Dharma, then after their death, they will suffer thousands of times the suffering of mortals.

This is also one of Buddhism's methods.

If you cultivate blessings in the mortal world, you can be reincarnated in heaven and enjoy the blessings. When the blessings are exhausted, you will fall into hell and suffer.

If he always has memories, then after just a few visits, I am afraid that even a donkey should learn to practice hard.

Practitioners tempered through this method will probably lose interest in all suffering and all joy, because they have seen it all, and what is left is only a firm heart of asceticism.

Buddhism... is really scary.
