Mystery: I Married the Queen of Mystery

#50 - Changes in the “Knowledge Wilderness”

Before Audis was that familiar field, shimmering with illusory light, as if without a concrete form.

But deep within the field, the light emitted by the towering structure composed of faintly glowing spheres no longer seemed so illusory; the entire tower actually possessed a slight sense of substance.

Audis paused to observe for a moment before entering the tower's interior.

The interior hadn't changed much, except for a magic circle that had appeared beside the "Central Simulator."

He recognized it at a glance as a teleportation circle.

Immediately following, the corresponding operational knowledge "entered" Audis's mind; to be precise, this was a circle that allowed mutual access between the outside world and the "Knowledge Wilderness."

In the real world, as long as a corresponding sub-array was drawn, matter from the real world could be teleported into the interior of the "Knowledge Wilderness."

This was a new ability Audis had gained in the "Knowledge Wilderness" after his advancement; although it could only teleport inanimate matter, this ability was quite practical.

Audis exclaimed, "I have my own space now!"

His experimental products and gold pounds could be teleported here, making this place more secure than any bank.

He had already decided to draw a fixed circle in the basement of his residence and another that he could carry with him at all times on cloth.

Next, Audis reached out and touched the "Central Simulator," using his mind to query information. He quickly discovered that his query permissions were indeed higher.

For example, he could now query the Sequence 9 and Sequence 8 potion formulas for the "Seer," "Scholar," and "Reader" pathways.

Unexpectedly, a "Reader" pathway had been added!

However, a new problem presented itself to Audis: "Why only up to Sequence 8?"

This was quite frustrating. Advancement allowed him to obtain more potion formulas, but there were no formulas for further advancement!

Audis felt a little dumbfounded. Then, recalling the Roselle diaries he had seen before, he continued to query the mystical symbols used by the elves.

Previously, he couldn't find any information about the elves, but today, he could indeed find the mystical symbols used by the elves.

Not only the elven mystical symbols, but also the mystical symbols used by dragons and giants could be found.

By comparing these mystical symbols, Audis quickly discovered that the mystical symbols widely used in the North and South Continents were evolved from the mystical symbols of the giant and dragon races.

Mainly from the giant race; the dragon race's mystical theory seemed to differ from humanoid creatures, with many elements about dragons in those mystical symbols.

As for the elven mystical symbols, they were a completely different system.

Audis mused: The previous guess was correct; the elves came from the "Western Continent," and their mystical concepts were completely different from those of the North and South Continents, which was why the elven magic circles appeared to be more powerful.

Unfortunately, Audis couldn't query elven magic circles yet, only the magic circles used by the human sages of the Second Epoch. Clearly, he would need to advance again to access the relevant knowledge.

The magic circles used by the human sages were significantly different from modern magic circles, lacking standards like "pentagrams" and "hexagrams." Many magic circles were square, trapezoidal, or even polygonal.

Their functions were more diverse and their power greater than those of the present day.

This also aligned with Audis's previous conjecture. With the arrival of the Third Epoch, the Ancient Sun God used the "Blasphemy Slate" to further popularize potion formulas among the human race, allowing humans to become Beyonders relatively safely.

The research on magic circles would gradually decrease, and eventually, a large amount of relevant knowledge would disappear in the river of history. Today, the decorative function of magic circles has become greater than their actual function.

Audis's core research was actually on spirituality, and those research results gave the forgotten magic circles a new purpose.

Although he could only find the mystical symbols of ancient transcendent races like the elves, it was already very good for Audis. Their mystical symbols were more complete than the existing human magic symbols. Currently, Audis's deductive research on mystical symbols was extremely difficult, and these complete magic symbol systems were a good reference.

After making these understandings, Audis began today's research.

He decided to put aside the original topic for now and study a new topic today: whether it was possible to extract the extraordinary knowledge from extraordinary characteristics and instill it into the brains of others?

After advancing to "Combat Scholar," Audis felt the extraordinary knowledge and combat skills obtained from the extraordinary characteristic. This was a very wonderful experience. He possessed this knowledge without having to learn it, much like the "heaven-sent" talent Audis had heard of before.

So he had this mischievous idea. If those mystical knowledge and combat skills could be instilled into the brain of an ordinary person, then that ordinary person would instantly become a mystical expert and a combat master.

Of course, ordinary people, without having their bodies reshaped by potions, would still need a period of training to master those combat skills.

But this was much simpler than normal practice. The normal way of learning was to comprehend the mysteries of combat through constant practice.

But if those combat skills were instilled, it would be like first possessing the corresponding combat experience, and then practicing would be a process of practical application. The speed of mastering combat skills would naturally be faster.

No mistake! First issue, first send, first content, first look!

However, even if they mastered those mystical knowledge and combat skills, because they didn't have the reaction speed and thinking ability as fast as a real "Combat Scholar," their ability would be much worse than that of a real "Combat Scholar."

But this was something that could be used on a large scale. If there were enough extraordinary characteristics and spirituality, in theory, everyone in Backlund could become a mystical expert and a combat master.

This was just a hypothesis. Audis currently only had one "Combat Scholar" extraordinary characteristic. If his research was successful, he only intended to train a few mystical assistants for himself when needed.

As the research progressed, Audis encountered two difficulties. The first difficulty was how to extract the knowledge from the extraordinary characteristic? The second difficulty was how to instill the knowledge into the brains of ordinary people?

Fortunately, he could now find some magic circles that ancient sages had drawn, one of which was used to extract useful extraordinary information from the corpses of extraordinary creatures.

At that time, humans were very fragile, and their mastery of the extraordinary and mysticism was far inferior to those of the huge transcendent creatures.

So the desire for knowledge led them to invent this magic circle, hoping to obtain the mystical and extraordinary knowledge they needed after killing transcendent creatures.

However, this magic circle still needed a lot of modification to meet Audis's requirements.

Another problem could be solved with a modern magic circle called "Telepathy." Sitting in the magic circle, there was a very small probability of being able to sense the thoughts of the person next to them.

This magic circle needed even more modifications, and could even only be used as a reference.
