Natural God's Gift
#178 - Starship Exploration (Part 1)
The starship slowly descended, finally landing on the ground after half a month. The massive hull settled on a sea island at the edge of the Force Divine Power Barrier.
As it landed, with a thunderous boom, the small island, spanning over thirty square kilometers and only seven or eight meters above sea level, was directly crushed into the seabed by the starship.
With the island submerged, most of the enormous starship also sank into the sea. The starship's immense volume displaced a massive amount of water, instantly creating towering waves that completely engulfed the starship, then immediately crashed down and spread in all directions.
The waves, reaching thousands of meters high, formed a tsunami that roared towards the distant horizon. Dozens of small islands surrounding the starship were like shattered debris, instantly swept away by the wave.
The waves continued their relentless journey towards the distant coast.
"Hiss," within dozens of kilometers around the starship, various flying insectoid warriors guarding the perimeter gasped at the sight of the numerous islands instantly swallowed without a trace.
They hadn't imagined that the starship simply landing could cause such a massive commotion. If it were to fall from space as a free-falling object, wouldn't the entire Force Star Realm have to be rebuilt?
"Isn't this a bit too terrifying?" A Lord-level Mottled Ice Butterfly flew to an altitude of over a thousand meters, its heart chilled.
It had almost been hit by the wave just now. It dared not imagine the consequences of being swept up by it.
It had personally witnessed a Dark Vein Mottled Mantis Lord flying a bit too slowly, then being directly swept into the sea and disappearing.
Also, the several aquatic insectoid lords who had been in the sea had now vanished without a trace.
Originally, there had been twenty or thirty Lord-level warriors who had rushed over to guard the area, but now only five or six insectoid warriors remained, having quickly flown to high altitudes to escape the disaster.
"Are we still going down?" Watching the waves, hundreds of meters high, constantly battering the starship, and seawater continuously pouring into the starship through the cracks, with a large portion of the starship still submerged within the Divine Power Barrier, as if leading to an unknown destination.
The remaining Lords were somewhat frightened. They had only observed for a moment, and they had already lost so many insects.
Moreover, those lost were all Lord-level warriors. Those who could become Lord-level insectoid warriors now were basically the top forces of their clans, or the leaders of their clans. Their loss would likely weaken the entire clan.
"Farewell, everyone. I'm leaving first." A Lord-level Jeweled Beetle warrior watched the waves crashing against the cracks in the starship, with seawater continuously pouring in. Sensing a deep danger, it didn't hesitate and retreated immediately.
It had never seen such a massive object before. It had only come to observe and almost ended up dying here. Who knew what other dangers might appear? Curiosity kills the insect.
"Let's go, let's go," a Ladybug warrior rapidly flapped its wings and departed.
A Dry Leaf Mimic Mantis warrior approached the Mottled Ice Butterfly Lord: "This Mottled Ice Butterfly warrior, would you like to go down and take a look together?"
Mottled Ice Butterfly Lord: "Hehe, I'll just watch, I won't go in. Please, go ahead."
Dry Leaf Mimic Mantis Warrior: "???"
You want me to lead the way?
"I suddenly remembered that my mother is giving birth, I need to go back and take a look." The Dry Leaf Mimic Mantis warrior flapped its wings and flew away.
The Mottled Ice Butterfly warrior looked at the remaining Fire Warrior.
"My grandma is giving birth, I'm leaving too." Seeing the Mottled Ice Butterfly Lord looking at it, the Fire Warrior also hurriedly fled.
"If you're not going, I'm not going either." The Mottled Ice Butterfly Lord looked at the starship, still not understanding what it was. Then, with lingering fear, it flapped its wings and left. Nothing was more important than its life.
Faced with unknown dangers, the safest approach was to leave in advance.
On the third day after the starship landed, an extremely fast stream of light flew towards the starship and gradually decelerated as it approached.
The light landed not far from the starship, revealing three Flame Spiders within.
Within the light, Lord Ginkgo looked at the Myriad Insect Pearl with some heartache. One of the King-level abilities stored within had been used, and it was a difficult ability to replicate. To increase the abilities again, it would have to wait until it reached the King-level.
As soon as Lord Fengxin landed on the sea surface, primal energy surged, and with a light tap of its spider leg, the sea surface instantly condensed into an ice boat several dozen meters in size.
Lord Ginkgo and Lord Plantain landed on the ice boat, carefully examining the starship. They saw that most of the bright silver starship was submerged within the Divine Power Barrier.
There was also a huge crack on the surface of the starship, as if it had been torn open by something.
In fact, they had seen the crack in the sky before. There should be three cracks, and the remaining two should be on the hull within the Divine Power Barrier.
Apart from these three extremely conspicuous cracks, the rest of the starship's surface was smooth and seamless, as if it were naturally formed, with no trace of artificial construction.
But Lord Ginkgo and the others knew that this thing was indeed man-made.
Their landing position was a bit far from the starship, but fortunately, the original hundreds of meters high waves pushed out by the starship were now only a few meters high, which did not hinder Lord Fengxin from controlling the ice boat to move towards the starship.
Lord Plantain stood on the ice boat, looking around: ", why aren't there any other insectoid warriors?"
It didn't know what had happened here before, and thought that there would be many insectoid warriors left here. "Could they all have gone inside?" Lord Fengxin's mental power scanned the starship, but as soon as it touched the surface of the starship, it was instantly repelled, unable to penetrate at all.
It wasn't surprised by this. Other insects might not have seen a starship before, but the three of them had traveled from Dragon Bamboo Continent back to the Fang Clan Continent on a starship. It could be said that no insects in the Force Star Realm were more familiar with starships than them.
"Who cares, anyway, our goals are different from theirs." Other insectoid warriors wanted the extraterrestrial civilization's creations within the starship to increase the strength of their tribes.
The Flame Spiders were different. Their goal was to open the doors at both ends of the starship, connecting the Myriad Races Continent with the Myriad Kingdoms Continent on the other side, so that their Flame Spider merchants could conduct even greater trade.
As for those extraterrestrial civilization creations, they didn't need to compete with other insectoids at all. When the Force Reincarnation period ended, they could go to the territories left behind by those tribes and collect them little by little. Ninety-nine percent of the treasures could be collected into their claws, so why bother fighting so hard?
Of course, if they could grab something easily, they wouldn't mind taking it directly into their claws.
"There's a big crack on this starship, should we go in directly through the crack?"
"Be careful, if there's any danger, we'll be wiped out."
"Hey, it doesn't matter if you guys die, but the Myriad Insect Pearl can't be lost."
?
"Then should we go through the big crack?" Lord Fengxin controlled the ice boat, following the seawater into the starship's crack.
