#69 - Chapter 69 Throwing the 'Monster' into the Sea

Moonlight spilled like water on the lonely island, casting mottled shadows.

In the silent night, a sudden rainstorm shattered the tranquility, thunder rumbled, and lightning tore across the dark sky.

The weather on the Grand Line was ever so fickle, one moment clear skies, the next a torrential downpour.

Amidst the wind and rain, a lone woman stood by the sea, raindrops seeping through her umbrella and soaking her clothes.

Her eyes reflected helplessness and confusion, like a lost bird weary in body and soul.

"Staying here won't do your body any good."

Jin-an appeared in her line of sight.

His face was indistinct in the downpour, yet exuded a gentle air, shifting his umbrella closer to the woman, just enough to block the stray raindrops.

Toki Amatsuki's fair face flushed slightly, her bright eyes fixed on Jin-an, a little embarrassed by the smiling face looking back at her.

"Thank you..." Toki Amatsuki said softly, her voice trembling slightly, yet filled with tenderness.

She had drifted through the river of time for too long, and the sudden pause felt... not bad.

"Something seems to be on your mind?"

Jin-an observed Toki Amatsuki's expression, her eyes revealing a deep worry and a hint of anticipation, as if troubled by something both longed for and feared.

The woman raised her head, looking into Jin-an's warm eyes, and a feeling she couldn't name welled up within her.

Her voice was soft and moving.

"Since I was little, I've longed to reach Wano Country, but after traveling for so long, reaching Wano Country is still a distant dream."

Hearing the name of the island, Jin-an felt a sense of familiarity. In his previous life, he had constantly heard people talking about wanting to go to Wano Country to kill Momonosuke.

But he didn't know who Momonosuke was, after all, he had hoarded after defeating Doflamingo, and hadn't been able to continue watching until he transmigrated.

"Wano Country, I remember it being on the Grand Line, right... This should be the South Blue... right?"

Standing by the sea, Toki Amatsuki listened to Jin-an say that this was the South Blue, a look of surprise on her face, her eyes fixed on the distance, as if thinking about something, then gently shaking her head.

"This is the Grand Line... the second half."

"Huh?"

Coming out of the anglerfish's belly and actually ending up in this kind of place, it would take a lot of time to return to the South Blue.

"Could it be that you're from the South Blue?"

Toki Amatsuki's beautiful eyes widened, her jade hand covering her lips.

She knew how far it was from the South Blue to here, but the other party didn't seem to know that he had arrived on the Grand Line.

This was a bit incomprehensible...

It couldn't be that he teleported here, right?

She could travel through time, could someone travel through space?

This piqued Toki Amatsuki's interest once again.

Looking at the man in front of her, wearing what appeared to be a Marine uniform, clothes she had seen during her time travels.

"Yeah, my home is in the Sorbet Kingdom in the South Blue..."

Jin-an rubbed his slightly aching head. The Den Den Mushi had long been digested into dregs in the anglerfish's stomach acid, and he could only rely on himself to return to the South Blue.

He thought, how could he have been flying for so long without encountering a single warship.

Encountering a warship in the second half of the Grand Line would be a miracle.

This was completely a paradise for pirates, the strongest pirates in the world occupied a territory here and reigned as kings and overlords, and the Navy's power here could be said to be stretched thin.

"If you want to go back to the South Blue, it might be a little difficult," Toki Amatsuki said after a moment's thought.

Although she didn't know exactly where she was.

However, if she wanted to return to the Four Seas from the second half of the Grand Line, there were only two methods to choose from.

The first was to directly cross the Calm Belt, which was the simplest and most difficult method, because as far as she knew, the people who chose this method all ended up in fish bellies.

The second was to reach the Four Seas through the Red Line, but this method required applying to the Celestial Dragons first. She didn't know if this method was reliable, she had only heard it said.

"It doesn't matter, there's always a way..." Jin-an could only comfort himself like this.

Toki Amatsuki looked at the man in front of her with shining eyes, this sentence was truly philosophical.

Jin-an slapped his head and returned to the original topic:

"Oh, right, you said you wanted to go to Wano Country, right?"

Toki Amatsuki nodded, a hint of longing flashing in her eyes.

Her family had lived outside of Wano Country for generations, but strictly speaking, they still belonged to the Kozuki Family's subordinates.

But... now her family had disappeared into the river of history.

She just had a persistent desire to go to the place that her family had always longed for.

"Then after you reach Wano Country, what are your plans?" Jin-an asked curiously.

"Wano Country... after, plans?" Toki Amatsuki's beautiful eyes were a little confused.

She had never thought about this, her journey had spanned 800 years, and now she was alone.

"I don't know..."

After thinking for a while, Toki Amatsuki still couldn't come up with an answer to this question.

"But I must go to Wano Country!"

Her words were firm, and if she couldn't even reach Wano Country, let alone anything after that.

"This is my first time coming to the Grand Line, and I don't know where Wano Country is either, I really can't help you with this..."

Jin-an looked at the corpses all around him, feeling a little regretful.

"I should have left one alive to ask questions."

Earlier, he thought he was still in the South Blue, and without thinking too much, he directly killed everyone.

But... it's not a big problem...

Jin-an and Toki Amatsuki looked at each other, and together cast their eyes on the 'monster' lying on the beach snoring.

"..."

"Jin-an... Jin-an... I found something good!"

Olga held an umbrella, a piece of paper in her hand, and ran happily towards Jin-an.

Before Jin-an could reply, Olga handed the paper in her hand to him.

"Look! Look! This is the bounty poster of those guys you just killed! We're rich!"

Olga jumped up and down beside him, this money was the first funds they had obtained since returning to this world, how could she not be happy.

The Octopus Topaz Pirates.

Captain: Karma

Bounty: 40,000,000 Berries

Jin-an stared at the photo on the bounty, stroking his chin and falling into thought...

"This guy, how does he look like I've seen him somewhere?"

Toki Amatsuki was a little strange, her beautiful eyes moving back and forth between Jin-an and the bounty poster, "What? Have you seen this guy before?"

Suddenly, Jin-an slapped his thigh, he remembered where he had seen this guy.

During the Marineford War, this guy participated in that war as the captain of a pirate crew under the Whitebeard Pirates.

"Yeah... I've sort of seen him."

"Anyway, this guy is not a good person!"

Jin-an chuckled and skipped over this topic.

"40 million ah..."

Olga held the bounty poster and giggled foolishly, her heart bursting with joy.

Toki Amatsuki didn't care, her eyes turned back to the monster at her feet, and she kicked him.

This guy scared her when he appeared, and it felt good to kick him a few times to vent her anger.

Toki Amatsuki looked at Jin-an, wanting to hear his opinion:

"How about we just throw this guy into the sea..."
