Psychics don't die from gunfire
#652 - End of Volume Summary
Hello everyone, this is Erchong Fisherman.
The fifth volume ends.
Let’s talk about the main text first.
Frankly speaking, the plot of "The World's No. 1 Security Conference" should have been better developed, but many things that were prepared in advance were cut off when the moment came, and the results were rushed out and the matter was hastily concluded.
The reason is actually quite simple, because when I was writing a plot, there were some problems with my personal state.
Writing a book is a very exhausting process, and I don't mean physically exhausting.
I can't touch the keyboard and suddenly have a flood of ideas and start typing non-stop, so apart from the few hours of typing, I would spend the rest of the day thinking about the settings, evaluating the plot, or thinking about whether there is a better development. This is a big challenge to enthusiasm, and nothing can withstand being wasted.
So, when I came to writing about “The World’s No. 1 Security Conference”, I couldn’t hold my breath and was forced to turn it into what everyone sees now, which is a failure in its endeavor.
Of course, I said some things, but the actual situation was not particularly exaggerated.
I can give an analogy. If a person is a glass and the desire to write is water, then after you stop writing, the water in the glass will slowly accumulate, even to the point of overflowing. And when you pick up the pen again, the water in the glass will quickly be consumed - at a speed much faster than accumulation.
I believe everyone must have seen such comments from authors: "I have prepared the outline and detailed outline, but I just can't put pen to paper." I think this is one of the reasons.
So there is no need to worry.
As this metaphor says, the writing state is an up-and-down thing, but I feel that I am in a pretty good state at the moment, at least much better than "The World's No. 1 Security Conference".
As for the historical nodes, I consciously wanted to try a new way of writing. I like watching and writing fighting scenes, so the plots in the past were relatively simple and pure, but it is the nature of writers to want to become a master of hexagons, and it is a must.
Therefore, in this part, I tried to reduce the proportion of battles, build the characters well, and tell the story seriously. Now that everything is over, looking back at the overall, I think it is okay, at least much better than my previous book.
With the official revelation of events such as "The Wounds of the Sky", "The Fall of the Sky" and "The End of the Stars", the book has reached a new stage.
It's time to let Terra burn.
——Thank you session!

The Psychic did not die from gunfire and even got a major recommendation. I am really grateful for everyone's support. Although I have said this many times, I still want to say here that this result far exceeded my initial expectations.
Oh, there has never been a better midterm!
Psykers don't die from gunfire.
——Volume 6: [Eternal Glory].
