Rebirth of England
Chapter 749 Electric Supercar
It can be seen that Ms. Joe Harriman really wants to make progress...
That night, Barron enjoyed the meticulous service of the future youngest female cabinet minister in England in her apartment.
"Your Highness, I have my own principles no matter what. I will not obey your orders. I will take the welfare of the people as my first priority..."
Although her hands and feet were bound by Barron's tie and her own stockings, the lady was still not ready to succumb to the handsome and evil duke in front of her...
Joe Harriman raised her head, with delicate features on her face, solemn and holy, she said firmly.
"Really? Beautiful cabinet minister, have you really not considered your current situation?"
Barron looked at Joe Harriman, whose suit and skirt were a little messy because of the struggle. He pulled out his belt, weighed the weight in his hand, and then looked at the curve of her suit that was stretched out very obviously...
A crisp sound of "snap" was accompanied by Joe Harriman's suppressed shouting.
At this time, her face was red with pain, and she tried her best to smooth her breathing:
"I will not give in..."
"Then I look forward to your performance later, my dear cabinet minister."
...
"Your Highness, we have prepared all the models for the exhibition, and have completed the layout in the exclusive area of the British Pavilion..."
What the British Automobile Group CEO Vandal Hawke told Barron in front of him was about their participation in the Magic City World Expo to be held next month.
The 41st World Expo will be held in the Magic City of China. This time, the Magic City World Expo will last for half a year from May 1 to October 30.
Barron knew that this Magic City World Expo would be the largest one, so he attached great importance to it.
Many of his companies, including British Automobile Group, United Energy Group, O2 Telecom and other heavyweight group companies, will participate in this Magic City World Expo.
In this World Expo, the brands under the British Automobile Group will also launch some new models and concept models.
In fact, the British Pavilion of the Shanghai World Expo has been under construction since last year. In February of this year, its dandelion seed-like appearance made its debut, which was very attractive, so it was also called the "Seed Temple".
Many well-known British companies, including the British Motor Group, will set up their own areas in the British Pavilion to display to the public.
The more eye-catching new model of the British Motor Group should be their electric supercar called Concept One.
This concept electric supercar is an electric supercar designed by using the relevant electric vehicle technology developed by the British Motor Group in cooperation with Tesla and combining it with Aston Martin's supercar concept.
Prior to this, the British Motor Group acquired a Romanian company called Rimac Automobili, which was just established last year. Its founder is Matt Lomatz, and the company name of Rimac Automobili is named after him.
Matt Lomatz has been interested in electronic devices since he was a child. At the age of 17, he applied for and obtained his first patent - an electronic glove.
After making his first fortune, Matt bought a BMW M3 E30 because he liked cars. He started to modify it in his garage and drove it to the track to compete with other players.
Because Matt's E30 always lost and the engine exploded in a competition, he began to study how to modify his E30 with an electric motor.
After Matt turned his E30 into an electric car, he not only still lost the competition, but was also laughed at by his opponents.
But Matt did not give up. Every time he failed, he returned to his garage to improve his car and founded a company called Rimac Automobili.
Finally, earlier this year, facing 300 competitors, Matt's company Rimac Automobili finally won the championship with its improved electric car.
In Barron's previous life, in 2012, Matt's green E30 broke the Guinness record for electric cars in 1/4 mile with a score of 11.85 seconds. Later, they cooperated with many supercar brands including Porsche and Koenigsegg to provide them with relevant technologies for electric supercars. It is a company with relatively good technical strength.
But now, not long after Rimac Automobili was founded, the British Automobile Group has extended an olive branch to them and acquired the company.
And under their cooperation with Aston Martin, they completed the design of the first concept supercar and produced the first prototype car Concept One.
After that, they are ready to mass-produce this car - this will also be a fully hand-made electric supercar.
According to estimates, each Concept One costs about 1 million US dollars. The car has 1224 horsepower, 1600 Nm of torque, a maximum speed of 355 kilometers per hour, and can run about 350 kilometers on a single charge.
Its acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers is only 2.5 seconds, which is definitely the fastest electric supercar in the world at this time!
This prototype will also be airlifted to Shanghai to participate in the Shanghai World Expo.
Of course, Barron or the British Automotive Group's ambition is not only in electric supercars. They currently hope to verify and strengthen their related technologies in relatively high-end electric supercars.
European countries are particularly concerned about environmental protection. From Barron's previous life, the European market is also the most receptive to electric vehicles outside of China.
Therefore, the British Automotive Group naturally hopes to have a place in this market. In addition to the future two major electric vehicle manufacturers, China and the United States (mainly Tesla), the British automotive market will inevitably involve the civilian electric vehicle market.
Moreover, the positioning of the British Automotive Group itself is aimed at the mid-to-high-end electric vehicle market.
As for the low-end electric vehicle market, for cost considerations, it is better for the self-branded electric vehicles produced by China's "local" TRW and Nanjing Automobile to join the competition.
For the British Automobile Group, whether it is future electric vehicles or current fuel vehicles, the biggest challenge to maintain their manufacturing scale in the UK is the need for a relatively complete industrial chain.
Otherwise, even if they use various industrial robots on a large scale to improve the level of automation in production, they can only maintain the manufacturing of relatively high-end brands in the local area, and the low-end and mid-end automobile products with the largest output can only be transferred to overseas with a more complete industrial chain, such as China.
This is why some people wonder why there are so many electric vehicle brands in China later. It seems that the threshold for making electric vehicles is not high, but in the original "powerful countries" of automobile manufacturing, including Japan, South Korea and Europe, why can't they beat China's electric vehicles, and need to raise trade barriers to protect local brands...
One of the main reasons is that the relevant industrial chain has been lost in these countries, and the difficulty of rebuilding is very high.
