Fall asleep

Chapter 10

It's like companionship, but also like a witness, witnessing Pei Shiyin's growth.

Pei Shiyin was like a tree planted in front of her house. Su Mian watched her grow from a small sapling to a towering tree that everyone had to look up at.

But only when Su Mian approached, this big tree would hang its branches because of her smile, cast a shadow on her in the sun, and drop a small flower in her palm.

Su Mian looked at the stopped car not far ahead and smiled.

"It's a legend." Su Mian spoke to Zhang Qian, but what she looked at was the person getting off from the car over there: "He is also a very gentle person, a very good person."

Su Mian never hesitated to praise Pei Shiyin. This person is her towering tree and the little flower she protects in the palm of her hand.

Four years ago, Pei Shiyin said: "Mianmian, tell me something, I can."

Su Mian repeated earnestly: "You can."

She really can.

After Su Mian finished speaking, she strode over. Pei Shiyin was already standing on the sidewalk, with one hand in her pocket, looking pretty and cool.

Su Mian came to Pei Shiyin, one step away, hopped lightly, and stood still.

"Isn't it ten o'clock? You're here so early." Su Mian looked at Pei Shiyin with a smile.

Pei Shiyin nodded, raised her head and glanced at the people behind Su Mian, then looked away for half a second, and smiled at Su Mian: "The dinner is cancelled, I have nothing to come here beforehand."

Chapter 5

Although she had already reached the gate of her community, Pei Shiyin still told Su Mian to get in the car.

On a summer night, even though it was already night, the air was still a bit stuffy. Su Mian got into the car and felt the cold air, and suddenly felt better.

It just so happened that there was still a slow song in the car that she liked a while ago.

With the gentle melody, when Su Mian recognized where she was singing, the song was about to end, so she could only sing along with the last two words at the end of the sentence.

The seat belt was just stuck in the slot, and she heard Pei Shiyin ask: "What did he treat you to eat?"

Su Mian put her schoolbag on her lap, and replied, "Small stir-fry from the cafeteria."

She heard a faint sound from Pei Shiyin's side, because the next song started, the music almost covered Pei Shiyin's voice, Su Mian couldn't tell whether Pei Shiyin said um, or Said hum.

The next song was an unfamiliar song, and Pei Shiyin stopped talking.

Su Mian still wanted to listen to the song just now, but the car had already driven to the basement and was about to stop, so she had no choice but to give up.

Su Mian found the question she wanted to ask her during dinner just now, picked one, and asked, "Pei Shiyin, should I invite you back?"

Pei Shiyin hardly thought at all: "No."

Su Mian said oh.

When the car arrived at her building, Su Mian asked again, "Will this be bad?"

She has never been exposed to this kind of thing, and she doesn't know how to deal with it.

When Pei Shiyin stopped the car and pulled the handbrake, Su Mian heard her say, "No."

Su Mian has always listened to Pei Shiyin's words very much, and always thinks that Pei Shiyin is very good, whether it's at work or in interpersonal communication.

So Pei Shiyin said it wouldn't be bad, and she didn't need to invite her back, so she thought it would be fine.

The last entanglement in her heart was untied, and Su Mian stopped thinking about it after she opened the door and got off the car.

Upstairs and into the house, Su Mian realized that Pei Shiyin hadn't had dinner yet.

There was no food in the refrigerator, so Su Mian took two chicken eggs and unpacked new dried noodles.

The dried noodles were cooked quickly, she turned off the fire and took out the big bowl, and called Pei Shiyin over again, Pei Shiyin looked very busy, she was still listening to her phone when she sat down.

Su Mian put away the words in his mouth telling her to eat quickly, and stirred it with chopsticks to avoid getting batter.

When she went into the kitchen to bring out another small bowl of dried noodles, Pei Shiyin had already hung up the phone and started eating. Su Mian sat down beside her, picked up chopsticks, and mixed her own noodles.

"Didn't you eat it?" Pei Shiyin asked her.

Su Mian put down the sandwiched noodles: "I'm not full."

After she answered the words, she raised her chopsticks and wanted to continue eating with her head down, but she always felt weird.

Sure enough, when she looked up, she saw Pei Shiyin looking at her with a smile in the corner of her eyes. Su Mian wanted to ask her what was wrong, but from the corner of her eye she saw a half-bitten egg on her chopsticks.

"Isn't it delicious?" Su Mian also picked up the chicken eggs in her bowl, and said with a smile, "The shopping guide in the supermarket said that they are home-raised chicken eggs, which taste good and are also very nutritious."

After Su Mian finished speaking, Pei Shiyin looked down at the jerk.

Su Mian asked again: "Are you laughing at this?"

Pei Shiyin looked up, her smile seemed to deepen: "Yes."

Su Mian nodded, smiled slightly, and bit off the egg on the chopsticks.

Su Mian said, "It's better than the ones I bought before."

Probably because she grew up all the way, Su Mian's mother insisted on letting Su Mian eat an egg every day, saying that it was a balanced nutrition. Over time, she developed this habit, and she could eat some of the taste.

But Su Mian didn't know when Pei Shiyin developed this habit. When she and Pei Shiyin had dinner a few years ago, Pei Shiyin didn't like the chicken egg dish too much. into her stomach.

later.

Later she forgot what it was and later, Pei Shiyin was just like her, she must eat one every day.

So every time Su Mian buys eggs, he buys two people for a week.

After eating, Pei Shiyin cleaned up the dishes, and Su Mian was urged by her to take a bath. After Su Mian took a bath, Pei Shiyin stared at her to pack her luggage again.
