Fall asleep
Chapter 64
Su Mian pointed at a red fish near the glass of the aquarium. The fish was frightened and swam away quickly.
"It's really busy."
Su Mian murmured, and touched another golden fish.
Not long after, she lay down on the bed again, and soon fell asleep again.
I don't know how long I slept again, but in a daze, I seemed to hear a strange sound.
Su Mian opened her eyes and found that the door of the room was opened.
"Mianmian?"
Su Mian was in a daze: "Pei Shiyin?"
"It's me." Pei Shiyin came over and turned on the desk lamp, and adjusted the minimum brightness.
"Why are you sleeping again?" Pei Shiyin sat down by the bed: "I didn't answer the phone."
"Sleepy." Su Mian said with a heavy nasal voice, "Why are you here? Why are you back?"
Pei Shiyin heard something was wrong now, she first touched Su Mian's hand outside, and then poked Su Mian's head.
Before Pei Shiyin could ask, Su Mian recruited herself: "I have a fever."
After hearing this, Pei Shiyin asked after a long time, "Why didn't you say it on the phone?"
Su Mian: "I just have a fever."
Pei Shiyin seemed to sigh softly: "Why tell me now?"
Su Mian: "You're back."
With Pei Shiyin behind her back, Su Mian couldn't see her expression, only saw her grabbing her hand and putting it under the bed.
"When was it burned?" Pei Shiyin asked.
Su Mian said honestly, "Afternoon."
Pei Shiyin: "Did you take your temperature?"
Su Mian: "Yes, 38."
Pei Shiyin: "When was it tested?"
Su Mian: "Afternoon."
Pei Shiyin: "Where is the thermometer?"
Su Mian: "In the drawer behind you."
Pei Shiyin stopped talking to her and took out the thermometer, and Su Mian took it by herself.
"I've taken antipyretics." Su Mian said this while thinking.
Pei Shiyin didn't answer her, but stood by the bed, picked up the antipyretic medicine on the bedside cabinet and looked at it.
It was the medicine prepared by Pei Shiyin, not only antipyretic medicine, but also others, a whole box was in the cabinet.
This was the first time she had a fever with Pei Shiyin around, but Pei Shiyin knew that she would have a fever once a year, and she said it herself.
Su Mian never took this matter seriously, just take some medicine and sleep well.
But she felt that Pei Shiyin seemed to be unhappy, and she didn't know if it was because she wasn't telling the truth, or something else.
Su Mian thought for a while and said, "It will be better tomorrow."
Pei Shiyin put down the medicine, sat down by the bed again, and said, "Let me have a look at the thermometer."
Su Mian snorted, and hearing Pei Shiyin's voice sounded lifeless, she immediately took out the thermometer and gave it to Pei Shiyin.
Pei Shiyin glanced at the degree displayed on the top, then clicked off, and put away the thermometer.
"Is it still uncomfortable?" Pei Shiyin asked her.
Su Mian shook her head: "I've slept for a long time, and I'm much better." Su Mian thought for a while, and added: "I also took the medicine seriously, and I also ate the food."
Pei Shiyin laughed suddenly when she heard that, and stretched out her hand to gently scratch Su Mian's forehead: "You still know that I'm afraid I'll scold you?"
Su Mian covered her face with the quilt, and also laughed: "But you came back without telling me."
Pei Shiyin turned to look at her, her voice lowered a lot: "What? Do you want to settle accounts with me?"
Su Mian smiled and pulled the quilt higher: "No."
Chapter 31
The room was very quiet. Su Mian lay on her side and looked at Pei Shiyin, who was sitting with a corner of the quilt lifted, neither of them spoke, just looked at me and I looked at you.
Pei Shiyin's hair was casually tied behind her head, and a small part of her bangs fell out, hanging naturally beside her cheeks, with the ends of her hair slightly bent, hooking her chin.
"Pei Shiyin," Su Mian said with a drowsy head, "what are you thinking?"
Pei Shiyin tilted her head slightly, and her little curly hair was skewed away from her chin.
"I didn't think of anything."
Su Mian exposed her nose and mouth: "Pei Shiyin, why are you so pretty?"
Pei Shiyin laughed suddenly, then stood up: "I'm going to boil the water."
Soon, Pei Shiyin left the room, leaving a small gap in the door.
Su Mian moved so that she could see the crack of the door more clearly.
The blood vessels in his brain were throbbing, Su Mian half closed his eyes, imagined that Pei Shiyin was in the kitchen outside, picked up a black kettle, filled it with water, put it on the seat, and pressed the switch.
She thought that Pei Shiyin would wash a new cup, then stand in front of the kettle and wait for the water to boil. Of course, she might be leaning against the stove, or her legs might still be crossed naturally.
Su Mian had seen her like this before, and in her impression she was wearing long white trousers, the bottoms of which reached her ankles. They were casual trousers with two pockets, and Pei Shiyin had one hand in the pocket, and the other A cup of coffee in one hand.
Su Mian didn't quite remember what she was doing at the time, but the moment Pei Shiyin raised her head to meet her gaze, she couldn't move away from the sight that she had accidentally bumped into.
Pei Shiyin smiled at her at that time, and then lowered her head to drink coffee, but Su Mian remembered that she looked at Pei Shiyin for a long time.
Su Mian stared at the beam of light from the crack of the door, trying to discern the sound of boiling water outside, but failed.
Soon, Pei Shiyin came in, and as Su Mian imagined, Pei Shiyin washed the milky white cup she put on the stove.
"Pei Shiyin." Su Mian called her.
Pei Shiyin agreed, and closed the door.
"Is it raining?" Su Mian asked.
"Down." Pei Shiyin sat by the bed again and put the cup on the table: "Is it cold?"
"It's really busy."
