Chapter 14

Early the next morning, Winnie woke up. He changed into his old clothes and planned to go out to the market to buy something, but when he opened the door, he saw Eland standing guard outside.

"Little master...why don't you come in." Winnie was a little surprised. Erlande had been guarding here all night, waiting for someone to open the door.

"Vinny?" Erlande was equally surprised, but more self-deprecating, "You won't stop me, will you?"

Winnie shook his head, and hastily stepped out of the way.

Erlande walked in, but within a few steps he heard Wilson's voice.

"Did I let you in?"

Erland looked up at Wilson standing on the stairs and asked in disbelief, "Dad, are you really going to kick me out?"

"Go and live with your witcher." Catherine didn't know when she appeared, she seemed to say with some resentment.

"Do you hate me for taking John away?" Elland laughed, but his eyes were filled with tears. "You should thank me for saving you. If it wasn't for me, John would have killed you long ago."

As soon as the words fell, Catherine suddenly rushed in front of Erlande, raised her hand and slammed it on his face.

Winnie only had time to see the afterimage of Catherine, and the next second, Erlande had already fallen to the ground.

"Little master..." Winnie tried to help him up, but Erlande got up by himself.

"You all want to drive me away..." He stood up and stepped back step by step, with tears streaming down his eyes. He who was once the most beloved probably never thought that one day he would be abandoned by everyone, "Okay, I'm never coming back."

Vinny watched him leave, but Wilson never kept him.

No one mentioned this matter again, and it was not easy for Vinny to ask, but listening to their conversation, it seemed that Erlande robbed Catherine's boyfriend, and that person was a witcher.

Winnie went out to buy a bag of apples and was walking towards the bedroom with his arms in his arms, but he didn't expect to run into Catherine.

Catherine was in a fit of rage. She threw everything she could smash, and when she looked up, she saw Winnie.

Winnie knew that he would not escape being angered this time, and he stood there with his head down, hoping that Catherine would take it easy.

"You came to see my joke, right?"

"No." Vinny whispered.

Catherine grabbed his collar: "Don't think I don't know, you and Erlande conspired to help him steal my letter!"

"I, I..." Winnie was startled.

Catherine pushed him away violently, and Winnie subconsciously let go of her, and the apple fell to the ground.

Winnie finally fell to the ground. Unfortunately, the apple on the ground hit his back firmly, causing him to cry out in pain.

Catherine didn't expect to throw him so badly, and left without scolding him any more.

It wasn't until the pain eased that Winnie slowly got up from the ground, squatted there and picked up the apples into the bag.

Suddenly, he heard movement on the stairs, and secretly saw that Duke Wilson seemed to be about to come down to help him.Winnie lowered his head hastily, he didn't dare to let him come, after all, he was misleading, and he couldn't let Wilson make another mistake.

Just as he was thinking, Duke Wilson left suddenly, as if he had heard Vinny's inner voice.

"Alas..." Taylor's sigh suddenly sounded.

Winnie squatted on the ground, looked up and saw Telles.

"Shall I help you?" Thales held out his hand.

Winnie glanced at him, and suddenly noticed the ring on Taylor's hand: "This is Josephine's!"

Thales withdrew his hand and let Winnie miss it. He pulled Winnie up and grabbed his arm that kept resisting: "You may not believe it, but Bourne gave it to me."

"Impossible... What did you do to Ange?"

"Am I so cruel and heartless in your heart?" Thales pulled him closer, "Why don't you come with me to meet him."

"Let go of me! I won't go with you!" Vinny struggled, but his strength was nothing compared to Taylor's.

Thales picked him up by the waist, and Winnie felt dizzy for a while, surrounded by black smoke. After he regained consciousness, he realized that he had left Castle Wilson.

In front of him was a simple wooden door. Winnie looked around and found that the residents here were all human beings, and Thales actually placed his hiding place in a human city.

Thales opened the door, and Ange's voice came from the living room.

Because of that ring, Anger mistook Thales for Josephine.

"Winnie, did you escape too?" Ange ran over and hugged Winnie in his arms.

"Okay, okay." Taylor let go of them hastily, "Vinny, go in."

For Ange's sake, Vinny glared at Thales before walking in.Seeing Ange's carefree appearance, Thales should treat him well.

"You...why did you do this?" Winnie was finally let go by An Ge, and he seized the opportunity to come to ask Thales.

"He has been discovered by Quigley, and I don't want him to become a bargaining chip for Quigley to control Josephine." Thales was checking a note, "Good guy, why do we have to eat so much every day? .”

Vinny smiled and said, "You can't afford him."

Thales looked at the ring on his hand, and said frankly: "If I wasn't worried about that kid asking me for my father every day, I wouldn't steal his ring."

"Don't you hate him?"

"Josephine has a really bad temper, but I found out later that Quigley did it."

"What's the matter?" Vinny asked.

"Don't worry about it. Thales patted Winnie on the shoulder, "This is our business, as long as you live a carefree life. "

Also, Vinny thought, that's their vampire thing. However, he was always feeling a little uncomfortable. Could it be that there were some things that he could really just watch them happen?

"Winnie, can you stay with me?" Ange suddenly walked in and grabbed Winnie's sleeve.

"Be obedient, Duke Wilson is still waiting for him." Thales coaxed Ange away.

"I'll come and see you." Winnie reassured him.

When leaving, Vinny suddenly asked: "Do you know about Eland?"

Thales didn't speak, and Winnie thought he didn't want to let him take care of it, so he turned and left.

"Wilson let me watch him."

"You...you know Wilson?" Vinny stopped, it was difficult for him to associate Thales with Wilson.

Thales sighed: "I'll tell you later, now, you help me follow Erlande, he is with that witcher, I'm afraid I will lure the hunter out."

Winnie was so shocked that he couldn't speak. In his impression, although Erlande's life was a bit confused, he must not be so confused that he could get entangled with the hunter.

"The hunter's target should be Catherine, but Erlande seems to know the hunter. If he hadn't intervened, Catherine would have been cheated." Thales analyzed, "Take care of him and protect yourself."

Winnie also couldn't say whether it was right for Ireland to do so, at least he rescued his sister by accident: "So, is that why Duke Wilson kicked him out of the house?"

"How could he ignore him." Thales patted his head, "But if you let Eland come back, the whole family will not be safe."

On the way back, some terrible news kept flashing through Winnie's head. Many of those witchers were half-bloods of werewolves or vampires, and they were very difficult to deal with.

Eland is a fool, why is he so uneasy.Winnie held his head. He had heard that a vampire had been killed by a witcher before, but this would happen to him one day, and Winnie felt chills all over his body.

In the castle, Wilson didn't ask him where he went, and he seemed to no longer care about Vinny's whereabouts.

"Master..." Winnie felt that Wilson was suddenly alienated, as if deliberately avoiding himself.

"I won't stop you where you're going, and you don't need to report to me." Wilson left after leaving this sentence.

Vinny didn't know why, but it always felt like he had said something to make him like this.

"Master, do you need me to deliver a letter?" Winnie followed into the study, obediently waiting by the desk.

"No, you go out."

Winnie went out, staring at the door in a daze.Isn't this what I hoped? Wilson kept this face at arm's length, so that he would be worthy of them.

Turning around to leave, Winnie planned to go to Elland, and he left in a hurry with some money on him.

Looking at the study for the last time, Winnie stood under the castle and saw Wilson looking at him. After realizing that he had discovered it, he hurried away.

he……

A thought flashed through Winnie's head, but it was too scary for Winnie to think about.
