[HP] Dark Lord's pet

Chapter 10 Judgment

The scene was out of control, Dumbledore looked at Olivia worriedly, and wanted to say something.

"Ahem!" Olivia coughed twice, stood up, and straightened her robe: "This is speculation, Director Crouch."

Crouch looked at Karkaroff with disgust on his stern face: "Karkaroff, please provide real and effective evidence, besides, this accusation is not illegal..."

Olivia sighed, this director is really merciless.

"We—I mean the Death Eaters—we all know this, and besides, she helped the Dark Lord study the Dark Arts and was the one who invented the Fire Charm that inflicted damage on dozens of Aurors! The Dark Lord will Give us the spell, and he praises her talent!"

There was another round of discussions that were not much lighter than before, and most people looked at her in disbelief, and Olivia even saw Moody look over Dumbledore in disgust.

"Actually, Mr. Director, I don't know what the Fire Curse is, I even heard of it for the first time—" Olivia paused: "I am willing to provide my memory or take Veritaserum to prove that I am innocent!"

Crouch frowned. "Ma'am, according to the regulations, we need another trial." He looked back at Karkaroff.

"The Ministry of Magic will judge whether what you said is true, now go back to Azkaban..."

A door around the corner opened, and two dementors walked in and dragged Karkaroff out.

Crouch motioned to the Auror on the side: "According to the regulations, ma'am, I'm afraid you will have to stay in Azkaban for a while until we arrange the next trial."

Olivia froze for a moment, then sneered twice.

Dumbledore also frowned, and looked at Crouch disapprovingly: "Director Crouch..."

Olivia interrupted him loudly: "Then I'm afraid you will become the biggest laughing stock in the history of the Ministry of Magic, Director Crouch! Send an innocent, tortured, innocent person to Az Caban, the entire wizarding community will admire your actions!"

A trace of anger flashed across Crouch's face, and he stood up: "This is a clear stipulation in the charter!"

"I'm afraid that the Daily Prophet will soon publish the life story of the Dark Lord's mistress." Olivia glanced at the blond lady whose pen tip was flying, "And they will find out that everything is fabricated .They ruined the reputation of an innocent person, even got her tortured in Azkaban!"

"And all of this was caused by a director, a confused director who left a stain on his career..."

Olivia looked around, and the crowd also looked at her in silence. Most of the people looked at her with sympathy, and even a young gentleman licked his lips and smiled at her in admiration.

Olivia frowned strangely.

"Okay, Olivia, I believe you're just being excited for a while, listen to me!" Dumbledore looked around the crowd, and finally looked at Crouch: "I know that Mr. Director follows the rules, but we really can't This treatment of an innocent lady, I propose that we have a trial now!"

"It's against the rules!" Crouch frowned.

"Oh, Mr. Director, why don't you ask the people present? They must be willing to know the hidden story behind this matter!" Dumbledore opened his hands and looked at the crowd.

Crouch's face was disgusted, and he was opposed to all whims in his bones.

"Then..." He said slowly, "Whoever is willing to advance this trial, please raise your hand!"

A large group of hands went up.He obviously underestimated people's gossip psychology. Even though Voldemort is a person everyone fears, many people are extremely happy to have the opportunity to spy on his private life!

"Okay." He sat down: "We need a while to prepare."

He whispered something to a clerk who looked like a secretary, who nodded and left quickly.

The focus of the crowd returned to Olivia, and those expectant eyes looked at her eagerly, as if they wanted to dig out the Dark Lord's secret from her.

Even Snape looked over, as if he wanted to say something, but realized that this was not a good place to talk.

Olivia sat still, motionless as a mountain.

When the secretary came back with a stack of parchments in his hand, he distributed them to everyone.Crouch cleared his throat and motioned for the crowd to quiet down.Olivia also followed the Auror's instructions obediently.

Like Karkaroff, she sat on a chair in the middle of the room, and everyone looked down at her.

After two clatters, the chain on the armchair tied her to the chair. Olivia curled her lips, feeling a little ridiculous.

Obviously, most people are aware that a blond girl who looks harmless and weak, tied to a cold chair that is huge compared to her, looks really pitiful.

Crouch cleared his throat: "The trial now begins regarding Karkaroff's allegations that Olivia Star illegally studied the dark arts and provided them to Voldemort and the Death Eaters."

"According to Karkaroff's testimony, Olivista, do you admit that you have been working for the Dark Lord?"

"I admit, sir." Olivia said calmly.

The crowd made a booming sound.Crouch yelled, "Quiet, quiet!" as he prepared to read the next charge.

"Why don't you hear me out? Mr. Minister, I think everyone would like to know the truth."

Olivia did not disappoint everyone's expectations. She said in more detail: "To be precise, it was July 1978, 7, from the day after I graduated from Hogwarts to the beginning of February last year. At Voldemort's Manor."

She ignored the strange eyes of the crowd: "I was given to the Dark Lord by Dolohov after he knocked me out that day. As for doing things for him, yes, I have always been doing things for him. Serving tea and water like an elf, and taking care of the Dark Lord's pet - Nagini, yes, I do work for him!"

The crowd froze for a moment, then burst out laughing.

"Quiet! Quiet!" Crouch had to calm down the atmosphere again, and was a little thankful that the trial was held in advance.

"Second charge! Do you admit that you have been studying the dark arts and inventing the Fire Charm?"

"No, I don't admit it, but it may have something to do with me. I think I need to explain why—"

The crowd was silent, waiting for Olivia to speak: "I have never studied black magic, I just made some improvements to the commonly used spell Fire Curse."

Olivia spoke slowly like telling a story: "As I said just now, I am responsible for taking care of her pet Nagini for the Dark Lord, but Bellatrix Lestrange, a member of the Death Eaters, thinks It was the Dark Lord's reward, and she was so jealous that she sneaked up on me with two Cruciatus and an Avada Kedavra—”

Crouch coughed twice to stop Olivia's useless nonsense, but people looked at him condemningly, obviously attracted by this wonderful story.

"So I used the modified Blazing Blaze, which turned into a snake and wrapped her around it. She panicked a bit because the spell couldn't be stopped with a spell stop - I took the opportunity to give her a petrified all, I admit I was terrified and panicked, and I used a smash--"

The crowd let out exclamations as she spoke, and some even looked at her in admiration.

"Of course, I didn't succeed. The Dark Lord stopped me, punished me, and interrogated me!"

"He was really interested in my improvements. He didn't expect that I had such a talent. He asked me to make some improvements in conjunction with the Fiendfyre Curse. I refused because I couldn't use the Fiendfyre Curse."

People looked at him with admiration, as if they couldn't believe that anyone dared to reject the Dark Lord in person.

"Of course, I was also punished. I did hear about the magic fire spell for the first time today. I think it shouldn't be too difficult for the Dark Lord to invent a magic spell? If I must have done something wrong, it's me Shouldn't I have fought back against Bellatrix, and shouldn't have inspired the Dark Lord?" Olivia tilted her head and added: "Of course, I'm willing to use Veritaserum to prove the authenticity of this part."

People were discussing again, and Crouch frowned. He especially hated this kind of uncontrollable trial.

The magicians of the Wizengamot only discussed for a short while, and did not pass the Veritaserum proposal, but they asked Olivia to speak out the improved Fire Curse and have it demonstrated by several magicians on the spot.

"Then, there is one more question." A lady wearing a fuchsia robe with a silver "W" embroidered on her left chest looked at her brightly: "According to your testimony, you left the Dark Lord last February, how did you do it?"

Olivia tilted her head and smiled: "I don't think this is an accusation?"

"Of course!" the woman replied, "the charges against you are closed and the question is out of curiosity."

"Okay." Olivia nodded: "Actually, the Dark Lord was in a very good mood at that time. Based on what I saw in the Daily Prophet later, it should be that he has already determined who is the savior and has a certain countermeasures."

The crowd started talking again, and Olivia guessed they must be talking about Sirius.

"Of course there are other reasons. The Dark Lord has some inconvenient guests. They wear hoods and masks. The Dark Lord does not want outsiders to be present."

People finally nodded in satisfaction.Crouch frowned: "Then, please raise your hand if you agree that the accusation is not established."

Most people raised their hands.

"Please raise your hand if you agree with the establishment of the crime."

Olivia looked around, only a few hands were raised.Olivia noticed that the young man who had approved of him just now was looking at her with eyes that wanted to bite her.

"The allegations are not established."

With Crouch's final sentence, the chains on the armchairs were automatically released, and people began to exit.

"Great!" Dumbledore came over: "This must have exceeded your expectations, what are you looking at—"

Dumbledore followed Olivia's eyes.

"Who is that?" Olivia asked.

"Barty Crouch" Dumbledore continued under Olivia's strange eyes: "What's wrong, Director Crouch's son?"

"It's nothing." Olivia shook her head, and she had dispelled her worries when she heard Director Crouch: "Maybe I'm thinking too much..."

Dumbledore looked serious, he shook his head: "No, maybe not, I have to check..."

He left quickly, and Olivia also walked out along the crowd.

"I have to say, it's wonderful." A slippery voice said.

Olivia looked back at Snape, and walked side by side with her: "Of course not as good as you, it seems that Dumbledore trusts you very much."

Snape's expression froze, and he took on that statue again.

Olivia frowned, not understanding why he had changed so much: "But it has nothing to do with me, does it?"

Olivia went to the fireplace and left first, ignoring the two hums coming from behind.
