Chapter 15 - Chapter 6

Two days later, the Aurors had withdrawn from Hogwarts, and the school's doors and secret passages had also been unlocked. The first-level alert was lifted, and the students were preparing to resume classes one after another.

When Harry went to visit Draco again, his face was much better. All kinds of small packages were piled up in front of the hospital bed, but Draco, who was never short of snacks, didn't care, just curled up on the bed and read his book.Harry gently placed five clean green apples on Draco's desk.

"Thank you, just let it go." Draco was engrossed in reading, and said to those who were visiting him without raising his head.

Harry gave him a condescending look, grabbed one of the best apples and waved it in front of Draco's eyes.

"Hey..." Draco was a little annoyed, and when he looked up and saw Harry, the unhappiness disappeared.

"Pot, you're here." Draco elongated the broken sound in his name, and his tone didn't sound too happy, but that's not what his eyes said—the light gray eyes were full of excitement, and the eyebrows were full of excitement. He also proudly picks and chooses like he usually succeeds in doing bad things.

Seeing that Draco was much more energetic, Harry couldn't help joking, "Yeah, I'm here to pay the debt."

"You owe me money?" Draco snatched the apple from Harry's hand and bit it down with a dazed expression.

"That's right, in the trophy room, five goblins, I'll give you back five apples." Harry said triumphantly.

Draco was amused by him, "An apple and a Galleon, do you think I'm as stupid as you, silly Potter."

Harry shrugged, "You've already eaten one, you can't return it."

Draco's eyes were full of smiles, he chewed the apple and shook his head without speaking.

"Uh... Actually, I don't know what you like to eat," Harry said embarrassedly, "I saw you eating this kind of fruit last time, so I took it with me."

He used to just focus on messing around with Draco and never got to know him deeply. Harry had no idea what he liked to eat and what he liked to play.

"It's okay silly Potter, I like it very much." Draco put down the book and smiled.

The weather was getting warmer, and the faint sunlight shone on the two of them through the window. Harry felt that Draco's silhouette against the sunlight was indescribably charming.

"Did Madam Pomfrey give you permission to get out of bed and walk around?" Harry asked.

Draco shook his head, "As usual, we have to wait until we take the last potion."

"Are you allowed to eat meat?"

"No."

"Are you allowed to drink then?"

"……Are you joking?"

"Seriously," said Harry dejectedly. He had just brought two bottles of Butterbeer from Professor Lupine.

Draco's heart was already full of joy, he laughed out loud, and said loudly to Harry, "Don't tell me you forgot what you did when I was drinking last time."

—It's hot, isn't it, Harry.

Countless indescribable images suddenly flew through Harry's mind, and Harry blushed to the ears.

"... Tch, I... I just think you're alone... looking, just find some wine, drink, chat..." Harry avoided looking at Draco's smiling face, he He squeezed his hands awkwardly, his palms were sweating.

"You brought it all, I'll just take a couple of sips." Draco took a bite of the apple and said seriously, "I'm not kidding you, come here quickly."

Draco made room for Harry, and the two of them sat next to each other for the first time.

"You've lost your mind just by being close to the dementors the day of the match, haven't you?" Draco asked.

"It's such an obvious thing," said Harry ruefully.

Dementors have always been Harry's weakness.Others can deal with dementors easily, but he is always comatose or convulsed when encountering dementors, which makes him feel very ashamed and embarrassed.

"I'm beginning to understand you, Potter. It's really scary to be close to a dementor." Draco still had lingering fear when he mentioned the dementor.

Harry nodded, "Professor Trelawney once said that I had an 'unknown'. I thought it would be Sirius chasing me, but I didn't expect to encounter a dementor."

The cold feeling, the woman's scream.

A hand shook Harry's shoulder. "Wake up, Potter."

Harry emerged from his daydream, nodding in thanks to Draco, before uncorking the bottle of Butterbeer and taking a sip.

"Sirius..." Draco searched for information in his mind, he thought of something, but he didn't intend to tell Harry right now.

"Potter, my mother came this morning. She told me that Pansy was sentenced to a week of confinement, and that they made a face-to-face settlement with the Parkinson family and that they did not force me to be with Pansy anymore." Draco said softly, "But those books still need to be read."

"...Malfoy, last time in the trophy room, I regretted saying that."

"Which one?"

"I said I didn't understand you then, Malfoy, but I'll try to understand you in the future." Harry looked at Draco with warm eyes.

Draco's heartbeat suddenly accelerated. In order to relieve the sense of panic, he opened the cork and took a sip of the wine, but the taste of the coarse wine was hard to swallow, so he sucked it for a while, and he really couldn't bear it Swallow it down.

"Hmm...cough cough...cough..." Draco choked a little, frowning as he coughed and looked like his throat was hurting.

Seeing this, Harry immediately asked anxiously, "Does it hurt, how is it?"

Draco was choked to tears, but still shook his head and said it was okay. He was a little dizzy, and buried his head on Harry's shoulder for a while.

Harry was too stiff to move for fear of catching Draco.

I don't know if Draco was choking or remembered something, Harry saw two small wet splashes on the fabric of his shoulders.

……

……

In two days, Professor Sprout's detox herbs will be available.

Harry went every day to see if there was anything he could do to help.Professor Sprout was very polite at first, and later asked him to help with simple tasks.

"Good boy, just water them today," said Professor Sprout kindly.

Harry looked at the herbs that were about to mature, and his sense of satisfaction and anticipation grew stronger day by day.

He was also planning to help out at Snape's office.

"You're crazy Harry, have you forgotten how Snape bullied you before?" Ron held Harry back, "He'll probably kick you out straight away."

Harry shook his head, "That's better than nothing."

"No matter how Malfoy is a student of Slytherin House, Snape is his headmaster and will definitely do his best." Ron said.

"I know, but I also want to do something to help." Harry said sincerely, "Go back first, and I'll see you in the Gryffindor common room tonight."

Hermione grabbed Harry's sleeve, "Harry, listen, we also saw the scene that day, and I understand your anxiety. Don't forget that we are friends. If you must go, Ron and I will accompany you go."

Ron also came over, "It's better than you facing that old bat alone."

Harry cast a grateful look, "Okay, then let's go."

The three of them were walking on the road, and Ron asked Hermione in a low voice, "Why is Harry so concerned about Malfoy's affairs recently? They were clearly rivals before."

Hermione looked at Ron with an unteachable expression on her face and whispered, "Malfoy saved his life. Besides, it's a matter between the two of them, so let's leave it alone."

"Oh, good." Ron nodded pretending to understand.

Snape was surprised when he saw the panting Harry trio coming to the office to help with the potion.

"Have you all finished your papers and you're so free?" Snape whispered, his back turned to them, "Get out, there's nothing to help here."

But after the three of Harry insisted again and again, Snape finally let go.

He raised his eyebrows and instructed Harry to find a few clean cauldrons, asked Ron to get the required materials from his warehouse in advance, and asked Hermione to find the required formulas.

"The night after tomorrow, you come again."

Two nights later, the four of them worked hard for a full four hours. It wasn't until the potion in the cauldron was stirred until it was silvery white that Snape finally poured it into the vial with satisfaction.

"That's all." Madam Pomfrey squeezed the medicine bottle tightly and walked towards the ward.

Harry finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"It's getting late, it's time for you to go back to rest." Snape folded his arms and said to the three of Harry, "Ten minutes later will be a violation of school rules."

His voice was still so low, no emotion could be heard.

There was hesitation in Harry's eyes.Snape gave him a disgusted look, turned and walked towards the castle without looking back, calling for them to follow.Hermione pulled Ron away, and Harry didn't want to move.He was only a few steps away from the ward, and he always felt relieved after seeing Draco take the medicine.

"Severus!" called Snape at the end of the corridor.

Harry pulled back and hid in the small room where Madam Pomfrey dispensed the medicine.

"Severus, how is it?" Professor McGonagall and Dumbledore appeared at the end of the corridor, meeting Snape and Hermione Ron.

Harry's heart rose to his throat.

"Everything is going well Minerva, I will take these two students back." Snape still said calmly.

Ron and Hermione looked at each other.

"Just these two?" Professor McGonagall hesitated.

"Yes, just these two."

"Oh... I thought Harry would come."

"Who knows where he's hanging out at this point," Snape lowered his voice in disgust, "maybe he's trying to wreak havoc again."

The drawl of his tone echoed in the hallway. The tone was contemptuous, as if speaking to Harry on purpose.

"Sev, I think you have misunderstood Harry," said Dumbledore kindly.

Even though he was far away, Harry could clearly hear Snape's cold snort from his nostrils.

Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall stayed for 10 minutes before leaving, and Harry sneaked into the ward while Madam Pomfrey was seeing them off.

The lights had been turned off in the ward by then, and Draco was curled up under the covers, ready to rest.

"How are you feeling?" Harry asked softly as he lay down beside Draco's bed.

"Well, much better."

Draco's bed was filled with the smell of fragrances and medicines from the ward.

It was very dark in the room, and Harry could not see very well at night. He waved his wand, and a little fluorescent light flashed from the end of the wand, barely able to reflect Draco's face.Draco patted the bed, still making room for Harry to sit next to him.

"As long as I take the last dose of medicine tomorrow morning, I can move around." Draco said proudly, being bedridden these days is really too boring for him.

"Does your body still hurt?"

"It hasn't hurt for a long time."

"Is your appetite okay?"

"It has already recovered."

"Is the medicine bad? How do you feel now?"

"It's hard to drink, but you feel relaxed after drinking it."

"That's good." Harry let out a long breath, and his hanging heart finally let go.

Harry's concern made Draco so happy that he almost forgot an important thing.

"Potter, come early tomorrow," Draco said seriously, "I have something for you."
