Chapter 20

Harry felt his breath stop as Draco collapsed.

The thin and thin figure, who was always wrapped in well-fitting clothes, fell straight backwards after that flash of green light. He fell into the pool of water on the ground, splashing a splash.

Blood oozes out, and large patches of red bloom.Draco's exposed skin was even paler, and even his lips had lost their color, and the originally calm gray eyes seemed even more lifeless and hollow.

It was at this moment that Harry finally understood the meaning of the three words "to the enemy" written in front of the spell "Shen Feng Wu Ying".

Harry staggered two steps and knelt beside Draco.Myrtle ran away screaming, but he didn't care. All his attention was on Draco, he saw the blood gurgling, he saw the corners of Draco's mouth seem to curl up, he saw what Draco seemed to be saying, but he couldn't hear anything less than. How he wished it was a joke, as Fred and George used to do, when the blood stopped flowing, they would jump up and laugh at him loudly: "Happy fool's day!"

But Draco didn't jump up.

Harry wanted to help him up, but didn't know where to start.

"I didn't... I didn't think..." Harry hated himself for being so bewildered, for being incoherent. He wanted to explain, but all explanations seemed pale.It would be a long story to tell from the beginning, but Harry realized with horror that he wasn't even sure Draco would be able to hear him finish the long story. He looked at Draco, not even daring to blink.Harry was afraid that if he blinked, Draco would disappear.

Snape flew in like a big bat, walked around Draco with a livid face as if he hadn't seen Harry, squatted down completely regardless of the stagnant water on the ground, pointed his wand at Draco's Wounds, gently recited the counter-curse in his mouth.

Harry didn't think about why Professor Snape appeared at all, nor did he think about why Professor Snape knew how to heal—professors always have some amazing things, don't they, let alone worry about Professor Snape Did anyone see where the spell came from and would it punish him.At this moment, Harry's entire body, mind, and spirit, like those green eyes, were staring closely at Snape's wand, praying that that wand would have the most powerful magic power and be able to make him Erase all the mistakes.

Beads of sweat formed on Snape's face.It wasn't until the spell was recited four times that the blood finally stopped and continued to gush.Snape picked Draco into his arms and quickly walked towards the door, leaving only one sentence: "Go to my office and be confined."

Harry didn't refute for the first time, and went to Snape's office very obediently.Harry was originally an emotional person, and he couldn't calm down at all at this moment. However, he did not deliberately suppress his surging emotions, but let those images play repeatedly in his mind.Although he was not willing to admit it, it seemed that he was consciously trying to imprint Draco's appearance in his mind.

After an unknown amount of time, he saw Snape walking in, his black robe stained with dark red blood.Snape was saying something, but Harry couldn't concentrate, he couldn't catch a word.

"I'm sorry, Professor..." Harry said, licking his parched lips. "How's Malfoy?"

"If you'd start thinking about it before you do it, I think he'll be fine." Snape stared blankly at him. "Now, Mr. Potter, tell me, where did you learn that spell?"

Harry didn't answer. In fact, he didn't know how to answer. From a dirty Potions textbook found in those dirty cabinets in the Potions classroom? This is so funny.

But Snape obviously didn't think of waiting for Harry's answer either. He directly pulled out his wand and pointed at Harry: "Legiliency."

That disgusting dizziness immediately hit like a tide.Harry knew that Occlumency should be used, but right now he really couldn't concentrate and get rid of the distracting thoughts in his head.He could only let Snape enter his mind and roughly search for the place where the spell appeared in those messy and complicated memories.

The dizziness didn't last long, and when it ended, Harry saw Snape looking at him with a half-smile.

"I've taught many people Occlumency, and you are without a doubt the worst one." Snape said word by word. "Now that your new Potions textbook is back, go right now and put the textbook you took from my old cabinet back where it should be. I've taught Potions for so many years, and while I might remember Don't know what's in those corner cupboards, but that's no reason for you to keep them. Don't make me say that a second time, get out."

After coming out of Snape's office, Harry did not return the Potions textbook as Snape said.In fact he had only half heard what Professor Snape had to say.He was completely carried along by his own feet, and it wasn't until he stopped that he realized that the only thing on his mind right now was to know what was going on with Malfoy.

Harry was standing in the doorway of the infirmary. There are already a lot of people around here. Some of the Slytherins stood in front, looking like they wanted to go in and look, while the other houses were scattered around, watching and discussing what had happened.

Madam Pomfrey came out with a large plate of bloody gauze and bandages, and waved her hands to disperse the surrounding students. Her expression looked tired, and her tone was not kind: "Don't surround yourself here! He needs to be quiet! "

"But we want to see him," Pansy said sharply. "Is he still alive?"

"I can't die for now, Miss." Madam Pomfrey held the tray with one hand, and pushed the students out with the other. "But I think he needs to rest now, you are so noisy is not good for his recovery. Well, now, go back to the auditorium to eat your dinner, and then go back to your bed to sleep, everything will be fine Get up, let's go, let's go."

The students were pushed and shoved by Madam Pomfrey. Although they were dissatisfied, they left one after another in twos and threes.Harry dodged into the shadows and watched the men disperse.Madam Pomfrey locked the door of the ward and went back to her lounge.Harry looked at the lock, knowing that a simple aracho hole would be all it needed to open, but his foot couldn't move.He was afraid of alarming Madam Pomfrey. He believed that Professor Snape must have told her what happened. As the instigator of Malfoy's injury, he had no way to explain to anyone that he really just wanted to go in and take a look.

Myrtle appeared out of nowhere. She clawed at the wall and looked around timidly, making sure that no one was there, and then quickly went through the door into the ward.

—I am actually envious of a ghost.

Harry thought helplessly.Suddenly he thought of something, and quickly turned and left.

Instead of going to the auditorium for dinner, he went all the way back to his dormitory, dug out the invisibility cloak from the bottom of the box, put it on, took the wand in his hand, and ran all the way back to the medical room.

After casting a listening spell on Madam Pomfrey, Harry stood in front of the infirmary door.He suddenly began to hesitate. He just wanted to go in and have a look, but he didn't think about what would happen after he went in.If Malfoy is sleeping, that's great, just take a look, make sure he's alive, and leave; but if... if Malfoy is awake, what should he say? What did Myrtle say to him?Did Myrtle leave?

Maybe it's better to just go in like this without taking off the invisibility cloak, and then come out like this, without saying a word, or even pretending that you have never been here before, wouldn't it be better?

Harry took a deep breath and whispered "Alahoo Open" to the lock, and the lock clicked open.
