Chapter 49 Dobby's Last Order

Draco walked up the stairs step by step. There was a lot of noise behind him, the sounds of pushing, shouting, screaming, and cursing, all mixed together, as if they were about to explode at any moment.

But Draco couldn't hear it.Perhaps he was determined not to hear it.As if nothing had happened, he walked up the stairs step by step and at his usual pace.He saw the huge and ancient wooden door of the study. He remembered that he was very afraid of this oppressive thing since he was very young, but now, as if he saw hope, he could only wish to walk in front of it immediately, and go behind that door.

But he can't.He could only calmly walk over slowly, stretched out his hand as usual, and pressed against the door forcefully, so that the trembling would not look so obvious. After he opened the door and walked in, the door closed slowly behind him.It wasn't until the last slit was completely closed that he slid into the nearest chair as if he lost his strength. His whole body was shaking so violently that he had to throw a blanket over himself, but it didn't help much.

Ancient magic is condensed on this wooden door. The magic of the old Malfoy house.Because of the existence of these indestructible magics, only members of the Malfoy family and the house elves who were integrated into the old house could enter this house.

In other words, this room is absolutely safe.

Of course Draco knew about it, so he had to come to this room anyway. But his hands were still shaking, and he could feel cold sweat slipping down the back of his neck and onto his back. His hand was trembling and he could hardly hold the wand, but he still clenched his wand desperately and tapped twice in the air.

After a soft explosion, a house-elf appeared in front of Draco.

"Master..." Dobby hadn't been back here for a long time. His contract has not been completely released. Although he has been helping the cook at Hogwarts, he is always on guard against the call from Malfoy Manor. But that call has not come for a long time, until now.Dobby quietly looked at the weak young master nestled on the sofa, secretly speculating what kind of mission this summoning would have, and even trying to figure out the reason for his refusal. It is an elf yearning for freedom. This matter will never change, it will never change before, and it will never change in the future.

"I want you to do something." Draco said hoarsely, trying to speak every word clearly. He could see that Dobby seemed startled after hearing his words, but he couldn't care less. "Listen, Dobby, you've got to listen to every word I'm going to say, I'm only going to say it once."

No matter how much Dobby resisted, it could only prick up its ears and listen.

"Harry Potter is locked in this house. Maybe it's a room, maybe it's a dungeon, I don't know. You go find it and send them out, along with the sword they brought." Draco spoke quickly , but every word is clear enough. "Fu...that lord will be back tomorrow morning at the latest, and you don't have much time."

"Harry potter?" Dobby was a little confused. Harry Potter in this room? What does the young master want to do?Didn't he and Mr. Potter disagree? "Master?"

"I didn't mean to kill him." Draco seemed to see through Dobby's thoughts. But he didn't mean to explain. His limbs were still cold, and his voice was still trembling. He had to hurry up. Draco took a white sock from his pocket and threw it into Dobby's arms. "This is your reward. When you have done this last thing for me, you will be free."

Dobby hugged the sock, feeling the faint magical energy flowing on it. Draco put a curse on it, and when Dobby finished this, the spell was lifted, and the sock really belonged to Dobby, and Dobby really didn't belong to the manor.

Dobby still didn't understand.Even if there is no order, if it knows that Mr. Harry Potter is trapped here, it will try its best to save him.But soon it figured it out.If this command comes from its owner, it is equivalent to adding an extra layer of protection to the completion of this command.

Dobby put the socks away carefully: "Dobby will finish the task well, master."

"Wait a minute." Draco yelled at it.

"Master?" Dobby turned around, waiting for the next order.

"Don't say it's my order." Draco coughed twice, but insisted. "Remember, you are a free elf. Everything you do has nothing to do with me. Everything is your own idea. Remember?"

Dobby didn't know the master's intentions, but it nodded: "Remember. Dobby has nothing to do with the master. Dobby went to save Mr. Harry Potter only because Dobby respects Mr. Harry Potter."

Draco nodded, closed his eyes and leaned back into the sofa: "Go."

The soundproofing of the study was very good, so Draco couldn't hear the movement downstairs. He didn't know how Dobby was going, but he only reckoned that it might have been successful.

Voldemort had no disdain to waste time with house-elves.He even loathed half-blood wizards so much, how could he look up to the humbler house elves?Dobby was an excellent house-elf, and Voldemort would have no defense against house-elves.He disdains.

Draco couldn't think of a reason why Dobby would fail.So he thought Dobby would never fail.He thought that no matter how short-circuited that idiot Gryffindor's head was, he would never be caught again, right?

He is very tired.want to rest.

He did the same.Nested on the sofa, fell into a deep sleep.
