Xuanzang and Quzheng walked together for tens of miles among the high mountains. The sky was bright and the mountains shone with golden light, blowing away the thick fog.

Qu Zheng pulled the grass to open the way ahead, walking like the wind.

As for Xuanzang, he had already walked out of breath, his feet trembling, he looked at the back of the person in front of him, refused to show weakness, and insisted on gritting his teeth.

Only then did Qu Zheng realize that he suddenly stopped, turned around and waited for Xuanzang, and said, "Go slowly, it's okay, I'll wait for you."

Xuanzang wiped the hot sweat from his forehead, nodded and said, "Xiaozheng, thank you."

Qu Zheng's starry eyes lit up with a smile, he stopped and walked all the way, and stopped when he reached a sloping and high hill.

Xuanzang immediately found a clean stone and sat down, wiped off the sweat from his brow, and closed his eyes to rest.

Qu Zheng was still in good spirits, his face was clear and refreshed without a drop of sweat, he looked around and walked around Xuanzang.

Suddenly, he saw a figure flashing out from behind a pine tree, rushing towards the grass and rocks in the distance, he smiled again.

Xuanzang rested for a while, gasped for breath, opened his eyes, and saw Qu Zheng sitting beside him, looking at him with a smile.

Xuanzang couldn't help but wiped his face and said, "Is there something on my face?"

Qu Zheng smiled and said, "No, it's clean."

Xuanzang closed his eyes again, rested for a while, stood up, and said, "Let's go."

Qu Zheng was one step ahead of him, and pulled the white horse forward. After walking for more than ten li, suddenly the white horse fell forward, and neighed "咴咴咴". Go into a big, deep hole in the ground.

Qu Zheng had been prepared for a long time, let go of the rein, and stepped aside, Xuanzang hurried up and said anxiously: "Xiao Zheng, are you all right, what's going on?"

"It's okay." Qu Zheng said something, suddenly he wrapped his arms around his waist and flew up with him.

There was only the sound of sharp arrows piercing the air, passing by the two people's feet, and nailed to the ground densely.

"Hey Hey……"

"Hoo ho ho ho..."

"Dodge!"

"Come on, take them out!" a voice yelled.

Following the roar, fifty or sixty strange monsters suddenly appeared from the surrounding grass.

The headed one is a tiger head, with lightning-like eyes, sharp fangs, and a pair of claws like hooks, shining with a cold light, very terrifying.

The rest of the monsters are all goblins, wolves and beasts, with piercing teeth and mouths, roaring like thunder.

The tiger monster raised its head and shouted loudly: "Hey, you two bad guys! Hurry up and grab them!"

Qu Zheng held Xuanzang in his arms, and fell from the air, and all the monsters immediately surrounded the two of them.

The two were close together, Xuanzang's face turned pale, and his right hand tightly clasped the hands of the people around him.

Qu Zheng sneered slightly, but said in a low voice: "Don't be afraid, I can deal with these monsters."

Xuanzang's heart trembled, he held Qu Zheng's hand even harder, and said, "No, let's go quickly! It's too dangerous!"

The tiger monster heard the words and shouted: "Where are you going? Little ones, go!"

Immediately, seven or eight monsters held wooden sticks and swung at the two of them.

Qu Zheng quickly pulled Xuanzang behind him, turned around and flew his legs, "Bang bang bang..." Kicking left and right, seven or eight monsters fell out almost at the same time.

In a moment, all the monsters rushed up.

There were countless arrows shot by the original monsters on the ground, Qu Zheng bent down, "Shua, Shua, Shua..." Pulled out one by one, one arrow left and one right, he used his hand as a bow, and shot them out.

Hearing the continuous screams, fifty or sixty monsters were shot through by the sharp arrows. Finally, seeing the situation was not good, the tiger monster turned around and wanted to run away. Qu Zheng shot out the last arrow and nailed the monster to a tree. on the pine tree.

Qu Zheng felt as if the god of death had come to the world, he killed all these monsters in a short time, Xuanzang stood by the side dumbfounded.

Qu Zheng clapped his hands and said, "I just said there's no problem."

When Xuanzang's soul returned, he clasped his hands together and said, "Amitabha, so good, so good."

Qu Zheng glanced at him and said, "What is Shanzai? You think I shouldn't kill them?"

There were corpses scattered all over the ground, and Xuanzang's nostrils were filled with the smell of blood, but his expression was calm, his eyes narrowed slightly, he sighed, and said, "No."

Qu Zheng heaved a sigh of relief and said, "That's good."

The two worked together to pull the big white horse up from the pit and moved on.

In the evening, the sky was full of sunset clouds, and the two found a sheltered mountain depression, looking for firewood to light a fire, planning to rest overnight, and then go on their way tomorrow.

The fire on the ground was crackling, and the two sat around the fire to warm themselves.

It was late autumn at this time, and the mountain wind was bitter. The two of them were roasting by the fire, wrapped in warm furs, and prepared to spend the night like this.

Xuanzang picked up a twig, stirred the charcoal fire, added more twigs from time to time, and said, "Xiao Zheng, don't sleep yet, let's eat something."

Qu Zheng sat beside him, resting his forehead on his hands, and almost fell asleep, when he heard the words "Oh", he said, "I'm not hungry."

"Eat even if you're not hungry." Xuanzang said as he took out a blue cloth bag from his luggage. Inside the cloth bag was an oiled paper bag, which contained dry food such as steamed buns and hard biscuits.

He took out two steamed buns, and took out the purple gold bowl given to him by the king of Tang from another cloth bag, put it in, then closed his eyes, clasped his hands together, and began to recite sutras.

Qu Zheng couldn't understand a single word, and he had a headache when he heard it, so he had to endure it, and finally waited for him to finish reading a paragraph, and hurriedly said, "What scripture are you reading?"

Xuanzang said: "For the Sutra of Rebirth, we must also recite the Diamond Sutra, the Avalokitesvara Sutra, the Lotus Sutra, the Amitabha Sutra, and the Peacock Sutra."

Qu Zheng listened to sweat all over his face, stroked his forehead and said: "It's just a meal, do you need to read so much?"

"I am a Buddhist disciple, and I am devout in my heart." Xuanzang paused, and then said, "However, you can eat first."

Qu Zheng said: "I don't care."

Xuanzang wanted to continue reciting, but upon hearing this, he put down his hands, picked up a steamed bun from the purple gold bowl, handed it to Qu Zheng, and said, "Eat it."

Then he picked up his own one, and ate it in small bites.

Qu Zheng took it, chewing without taste, the steamed bun was cold and hard, he forced himself to swallow it.

After eating the steamed buns, the two drank some mountain spring water that was put in the water bag during the day, and sat back to back.

Qu Zheng leaned on Xuanzang's shoulder, drowsy, in order to find someone, he ran around and didn't sleep for several days.

He forced himself to cheer up and said, "Chen Yi, if I say we knew each other before, would you believe me?"

Xuanzang was silent for a long time, and then slowly said: "On the Sansheng Stone, the previous life and the present life are originally fate, Xiao Zheng, you came here specially to find me, protect me to go to the Western Paradise to learn Buddhist scriptures..."

Qu Zheng didn't speak, his breath was heavy, and he had already fallen asleep.

Xuanzang noticed it, couldn't help laughing, turned around carefully, caught Qu Zheng's limp body, and put him on his lap.

In the mountains at night, there is the sound of night insects, and the white horse tied to a tree kicks lightly and snorts.

Qu Zheng was sleeping on Xuanzang's lap as a pillow.

Xuanzang gently stroked his soft short black hair, and sat cross-legged quietly all night.

The next day, the birds on the tree were chirping, Qu Zheng woke up rubbing his eyes, and stretched himself.

"woke up?"

Hearing this, Qu Zheng opened his eyes, and saw Xuanzang looking at him with a smile. He sat up hastily, blushing a little, and said, "I don't know when I fell asleep, but I made you tired all night."

"It doesn't matter." Xuanzang stood up, feeling his legs were numb and sore, but he said calmly, "We will go down the mountain immediately and find someone to rest in, so we can have a good rest."

Without further delay, the two packed up their luggage, led the white horse and walked down the mountain. At the foot of the mountain, they finally found a family of Orion. The family went straight west again.

On this day, the two walked along the mountain path for half a day, and saw a high mountain piercing into the clouds, towering and precipitous, and a path went straight up halfway up the mountain.

The two went up to the mountainside, Xuanzang looked at the mountain shrouded in clouds and mist, with a fairy air, and his face showed surprise, he asked: "Xiaozheng, do you know what mountain this is?"

Qu Zheng laughed and said: "This mountain is called Wuxing Mountain, because the king of Tang conquered the Western Dingguo, half of this mountain is the border of the Tang Dynasty, and half is the border of the foreign Tatars, so it is also called Liangjie Mountain."

Xuanzang said thoughtfully, "So that's the case, then let's pass this mountain quickly."

Qu Zheng laughed and said, "I'm afraid it won't be soon, there is still one person who needs you to rescue."

Xuanzang asked puzzled, "What did you say?"

"Master! Master! Brother! Brother!" Suddenly, a loud voice came from the foot of the mountain, "You are finally here! Let me wait!"

Xuanzang's face changed drastically, and he lost his voice: "Who is calling?"

"Your apprentice Wukong." Qu Zheng said, pulling Xuanzang up, and then he floated down to the foot of the mountain, passed through layers of white clouds, and landed on the ground in a moment.

Xuanzang was very surprised. He opened his eyes and saw a monkey head protruding from the foot of the mountain. The head was covered with moss and weeds. The body could not move, only a pair of round and big eyes were rolling around. Of course it was Wukong. .

He was even more surprised, and Wukong exclaimed in ecstasy: "Master! Master! You are really a master! I finally hoped for you. Brother! Brother! Say something..."

Qu Zheng spread his hands and said, "Let him digest it, don't worry."

Xuanzang stepped forward, knelt down, stared at Wukong, and asked, "Where are you evil? How did you get crushed under this mountain?"

Wukong said anxiously: "Master! I am your disciple Sun Wukong! I am not a demon, you should rescue my disciple first, and then we will break up with you slowly."

Xuanzang's heart moved, and he turned to look at Qu Zheng.

Qu Zheng nodded and said: "You save Wukong first, I will never harm you."

Xuanzang was silent for a while, and then said: "Even if you really hurt me, I will admit it."

Wukong said repeatedly: "I won't hurt you! I won't hurt you! Wukong and senior brother are your disciples, it's true."

Xuanzang said: "Okay, how do you want me to save you?"

Wukong was overjoyed, and said: "There is a gold-lettered post on the top of the mountain, as long as you go up and remove it, the apprentice can come out."

Xuanzang nodded and said, "Okay, just wait."

He stood up, and immediately went up to the top of the extreme mountain together with Qu Zheng.
