Dragon and Dessert House
Chapter 9 9.
Three days later, the new clothes ordered for Hill were completed.
"The efficiency of the textile machine is really fast." Jianuo carefully looked at each piece of small clothes. Although the workmanship is not excellent, the price and efficiency are full of surprises.
"Well, just right."
Fafna adjusted Hill's clothes and bow tie, looked around, and was very satisfied.
Before that, the only clothes Hill wore were Tolena's old clothes when he was a child, and he wore Fafnir's white shirt at home.
Putting on brand new clothes for the first time, Hill was indescribably happy. He tugged at the corners of his sleeves, raised his head and then lowered his head after a while, looking left and right, for fear of getting dirty things.
"Sill, do you want to go out and have a look?" Fafner asked.
Hill hesitated, staring at Fafena hesitantly.
I'm still a little timid, I have to work harder.Faffna thought to himself, while coaxing: "Let's go to the bookstore, aren't you learning to write? Try reading some books."
Hill thought for a while, and grabbed Fafnir's sleeve.
"In that case," Jianuo took a note from the bar and handed it to Fafna, "Go to a nearby store and buy these for me."
Fafna took the note and glanced at it, and found that it was a dessert from a dessert house.
Although the food at home is prepared by Jianuo, there is no reason for Jianuo to miss the excellent taste of the shop, and now that there is Hill, Jianuo can justifiably buy dim sum back.
Fife is well aware of Jianuo's evil idea, and thinking that Hill might like it, he silently agrees.
He went out with Hill in his arms.Hill was buried in Fafena's arms, and it didn't take long to look up to find the two on the streets of the town.
Faffna could land a little further away, leading Hill by the hand, and passing the people walking on the street.
Every time someone passed by, Fafe would always feel that Hill's hand tightened a lot.Fafna gradually slowed down, allowing Hill to adapt slowly.
The oncoming young man running fast accidentally bumped into Hill's shoulder, Hill's small body swayed, and was quickly supported by Fafna.
"Feel sorry."
The young man hastily apologized, and when he saw the young boy buried in the arms of the man beside him, he raced away.
"Hill." Favna patted Hill's back lightly, and asked softly, "Do you want to continue walking?"
Hill raised his head after a while, the corners of his eyes were slightly red, but his head shook like a rattle.
"Then try harder."
Fife held Hill's little hand with both hands, and when Hill opened his palm, he found a small fruit candy lying on it.
Hill was stunned for a moment, and Fifena smiled and said, "This is magic, isn't it amazing?" After speaking, Fifena tore off the wrapping paper of the candy and brought it to Hill's mouth.
Hill put the candy into his mouth as soon as he opened his mouth, and immediately held Fafnir's finger with his little hand.
After changing my mood, the way to the bookstore seems to be no longer so far away. When I heard the "ding ding" of the hanging bell at the door, and looked up to see the beautifully bound books and appropriate decorations on the wooden window shelves, my eyes shone with surprise.
"Welcome, Mr. Fafnir."
Seeing Fafna's arrival, the elderly man closed the book and stood up from the rocking chair.
Behind the old man are different specifications, seemingly messy but chic and simple bookshelves. All kinds of books are placed on the shelves, and there is a peaceful and quiet experience surrounded by books.
Hill looked in the direction of the window, a little ready to move, but he was still unwilling to let go of Fafnir's hand.
Fafner said, "Manager, is 'that person' still showing up these days?"
The store manager nodded with a kind smile, "Thanks to you, it never happened again."
"That's great."
However, the situation seems to have calmed down, and behind the happy conversation, the magic props hidden in the bookstore are still not found.Faffna speculates secretly, it is very likely that the magic item is aware of his intentions and completely hides.
Fafna asked suddenly: "The store manager, what I told you last time..."
"Of course." The store manager cast his eyes on Hill, and Hill quickly hid behind Fafna. alright."
"Hill." Fife touched Hill's head, and Hill raised his head, his eyes filled with doubt.Only Fafnah continued to say: "Go, choose what you like."
Hill turned back, looked at the position of the window behind him, and hesitated.
"Go." Faffna gently pushed Hill's back, Hill staggered forward two steps, and finally stepped forward cautiously.
"Then I'll take a look at it." Fafner took off his top hat and hung it on the shelf by the door.
Although Hill was allowed to choose the book he liked, but Hill had little literacy and could not read a thick book of stories. It might be nice to have pictures.Hill remembers a book like this in the home of a man who bought him.
He went to the closet to look through the glass.
What Hill likes about the closet is not that the displays inside are amazing and wonderful, but that the thin glass can isolate him from the outside world while letting in some tiny sunlight.People will look at it with envious eyes, but never touch it in person.
Dazzling, yet lonely location.
Looking into the closet, there seemed to be a blurry figure in front of his vision. The outline of the figure cannot be seen clearly, and it seems to be isolated among the passers-by passing by in a hurry.
Who is this?
Hill thought, and suddenly noticed a strange sight beside him.I turned my head to look, but I couldn't find the owner in sight. There was only a quaint showcase in front of me.
The upper part of the showcase was square, the outer skin was extraordinarily hard, and the book with colorful cover attracted Hill.
Hill stepped forward to open the shelf, took out the book out of nowhere, held it in his hand and opened it.The paper, which was originally flat, stood upright as the book was opened.
Hill was so frightened that he threw the book away, but saw the book disappear from his eyes. The next moment, Fafna's shout came from behind his head, "Hill! Be careful!"
--despair.
The book fell to the ground, but Hill disappeared in front of Fife.
"What's the matter, Mr. Fafnir." The store manager who was sitting not far from the door and didn't know what happened asked.
"It's okay, Hill almost hit his head when he tried to take the book on the shelf." Fafna silently picked up the three-dimensional picture book on the ground, and a wonderful magical power flowed into Fafna's palm.
found it.
Fife smiled vaguely, and couldn't hide the eagerness in his eyes amidst the joy.Fife took off his white gloves, slid his fingertips across the cover of the picture book, and lowered his head, whispering, "It was right to bring you here, Hill."
