02 Harry Potter

There was a "snap" at the door of Malfoy Manor, and a man with disheveled black hair appeared in front of the imposing wrought iron gate.

Harry whispered "Draco" and the door opened with a heavy thud.

He walked through the weedy and barren vestibule, and occasionally stepped on the dead leaves rolling on the road, making a "click" sound, which echoed in the silent yard like the sound of footsteps, which was a bit harsh.

Harry vaguely recalled the same thing when he first met Draco after the Death Eaters escaped from prison.

============================

Facing the coming war at that time, terror, anxiety, and restlessness plagued him night after night, and those who died, Fred, Remus, Tonks, Snape, and many others, Again and again in his dreams. He thought he was safe.He thought he didn't have to be the savior anymore.Until Kingsley knocked on the door of the house he rented in a Muggle gathering place late at night, and then the black man said to him: "The Death Eaters have escaped from prison. Harry, you are the savior, you have to lead everyone war."

Savior. These three words are his charges.Inborn, cannot be removed. For this, he has to constantly atone for the crimes of the magic world and bear those heavy responsibilities.Everyone takes it for granted, even though he's only 18 and barely a man.He had to face war and death for them.Even members of the Order of the Phoenix, even Ron and Hermione, thought so.He is a savior, born to save the world. No one will ever ask, why must Harry Potter be the savior?

"Nobody...?" Harry murmured, "No, there was."

Then he thought of Draco Malfoy.

That bastard with platinum eyes above the top, he never bothered the title of savior.

--------------------

Draco was acquitted after the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry bailed.

Harry suggested he live in Muggle circles, as he was no longer welcome in wizarding circles as a former Death Eater.

Draco accepted silently, hiding among what he considered to be the dirty Muggles.

It was dark and cold in London at night, and the old house at the end of the quiet path was climbed up to the fence by unknown weeds, wantonly winding round and round.

Everything was silent, dark, and lifeless.

Harry was wearing a cloak and walking on the road, occasionally stepping on the dead leaves rolling on the road, making a "click" sound, which echoed in the silent darkness like the sound of footsteps, which was a bit ear-piercing.

He walked all the way to the front of the house at the end, stood for a while, and put down the hood of the cloak, revealing a mess of black hair.

This was the house he had found for Draco.

He stepped forward and knocked on the door.

There was no movement in the room. When Harry was debating whether to use the alaho hole, the door finally opened.

Draco's platinum-blond hair was a little dazzling under the dim light, and his light gray eyes stared at Harry without fluctuation.

"Potter," he said.

==========================

Harry walked up the corridor leading to the drawing room, where there were portraits of generations of Malfoy masters.

No Draco.

Hermione and the others wanted to hang Draco's portrait, but Harry refused.

"Draco isn't dead - how could you? Never - don't - you - think that way!!!" That's what Harry said then.

Hermione and the others were taken aback. They almost thought the savior was crazy.

Harry met Draco's ancestors one by one, and stopped before the last portrait.

The last portrait is of Lucius Malfoy.

"Mr. Malfoy," said Harry.

Lucius stared straight ahead, as if he didn't see Harry.

"Draco still hasn't found it..." Harry was accustomed to Lucius' indifference, "I'm sorry."

Lucius seemed to snort through his nose and glanced at Harry.

Harry looked at Lucius, and whenever this happened, he always thought he saw Draco.

They were so alike, with platinum blonde hair, light gray pupils, and the same expression.

Harry left the portrait of Lucius, walked into the living room, sat down skillfully on the sofa on the left, and summoned two sets of cups and a bag of tea with the flying spell.

Draco loves Chinese green tea.

============================

The second time the Death Eaters saw Draco after their escape was at Malfoy Manor.

When he went in, he saw Draco lying on the grass in the vestibule without aristocrat, as if asleep.

He walked over and crouched next to Draco, reaching out and poking Draco's face.

Too skinny, Harry thought.

"Potter, I didn't expect you to be a guy who likes to spy on others." Draco's long mocking came.

"Still?" Harry watched him sit up slowly.Maybe it was because the sun was shining brightly that Harry thought he was in a good mood.

"After sixth grade, in the bathroom? Huh?" Draco squinted at him, maybe it was the refraction of sunlight, and Harry saw a little blue in it.

"Well, Malfoy," said Harry dryly, "you've never been a pleasant fellow."

They sat on the grass, and no one made a sound.Harry suddenly felt a little dizzy. He really didn't expect that one day he would be able to sit peacefully with this arch-enemy, although they still couldn't have a good chat.

Ha, huge progress.Harry thought to himself mockingly.

"So, Potter, how did you get in here?" Draco said.

"Ah, I just tried a few words with a fluke mentality, but I didn't expect to hit it. If you ask me, Malfoy, set the password to your name, your house is easy to be burglarized." Harry was in a good mood say.

Draco's expression changed: "So, you called me by my Christian name?... Heh. Scarhead, the password was set by my father. How do you know what it means?"

This time Harry scowled. Finally he said softly, "Sorry, Malfoy."

"Potter, I thought I made it very clear last time, I won't promise you, so please don't waste my time." Draco stood up, smoothed the wrinkles on his clothes, He strode towards the manor house.

Harry stood up and followed him, following him down the windowless corridor and into the drawing room.

Draco glanced back at him, sat down on the sofa on the right, and waved his wand to himself to prepare tea.

Harry moved to the sofa on the left and sat down, laughing nonchalantly: "Where's your house elf?"

"There's only one person, what do you do with a house-elf? I don't come back often, if it wasn't for the fear that you would find me at the Muggle house again..." Draco snorted.

Harry watched Draco nimbly waving his hawthorn wand to make tea, with long fingers. It was the wand he was most comfortable with besides his own.

After the cup was filled with tea and placed in front of him, Draco leaned back on the sofa and said, "Okay, Potter, please finish that nonsense as soon as possible and leave."

"What kind of tea is this?" Harry asked.

"Chinese green tea," Draco said impatiently.

"Well... Draco, the Death Eaters have escaped."

"You said it last night."

"Well, I hope you can stand on our side as before and help us."

"What use can I be?" Draco sneered.

"Your role is greater than all of us. You are our odds. With you, we can reduce unnecessary casualties."

"What about me, Potter? What about my casualties?" Draco sneered, "As expected of Dumbledore. He didn't care about your casualties, did he?"

Harry was speechless.

"You want me to be a spy again, but have you ever thought about the possibility? They all know that I, Draco Malfoy, am a coward, deserted. Will they believe me a second time? You are still so naive ,Savior."

"I know you can..." Harry whispered, looking firmly at Draco.

"Heh..." Draco picked up the teacup and took a sip, "Even if I can, but do you really think I'm alone?"

"What...?" Harry said confused.

"Potter, my father is still in Azkaban." Draco looked at him, his light gray eyes getting darker.

"He..." Harry didn't know what to say.

"You said he was a Death Eater and sent him to Azkaban. The Death Eater escaped and he's still there. Potter... they all said my father was crazy."

"Really?..." said Harry.

"Maybe he just didn't want to come out and pretend. After all, his son is on the side of the Order of the Phoenix, wouldn't he fight his son when he came out?" Draco said softly.

"I..." Harry looked up suddenly.

"Potter, what's the good of me being a spy for you? When I promised Dumbledore, I wanted to find a way out for us Malfoy. But what? I keep only myself... only me. Do you understand? I'd rather live in a squalid Muggle pile, not because I'm an ex-Death Eater, I'm just afraid to go back here. Empty, alone, and then I'll remember that my mother is dead, my Father is still suffering in Azkaban."

"I saw my mother die in front of me, and I saw my father being brought to the trial hall to be sentenced. What did you promise me? Why didn't you do it?"

Draco was talking quietly, but Harry wanted him to yell at him.Such a Draco is too scary.

"I'm sorry...but you were the only one who defected to us back then, and we couldn't provide evidence of your father's bail..." Harry murmured.

"What about my mother? Why didn't you protect her?"

"Sorry..." Harry whispered.

"Potter, do you still insist? What qualifications do you have?" Draco said.

"No... But, it's another war. I'm still going, even though I'm not entitled." Harry continued, "If you get inside them, this war can end sooner... there won't be too much trouble." So many innocent people have suffered."

Draco looked at him. "Of course, you are the savior. Of course you care about the lives of the people in the world...but what does that have to do with me? I only care about the lives of my relatives, but they don't need me to care about them now."

"No, I mean... you really don't care," Harry saw Draco raise his eyebrows, "it's not that they need you... it's just that I need you."

"Potter?" Draco's eyes narrowed dangerously.

"I said, I need you... Draco," Harry said loudly.

============================

Harry manipulated the tea with his wand, poured it into two sets of teacups respectively, then picked up the teacups, and leaned wearily against the back of the sofa.

"Draco..." He stared at the empty opposite, the hot tea in the other set of teacups was smoking. "I've done something wrong to you again. You will never forgive me again."

"Draco, Ginny and I are married."

Harry turned the teacup in his hand, and lowered his head, not daring to look across.

"Molly has been trying to set us up and push me... Ginny has been unmarried for 15 years for me...I really..."

"You have been refusing to show up again. I have been waiting for you for 19 years, and I have been looking for you for 15 years. Draco Malfoy...Why are you refusing to come out? What do you want me to do?"

Harry clenched his teacup so hard that his veins bulged.

"I really can't hold on... I can't hold on... Do you know how I survived these 15 years? I look for you day and night, and I don't do anything else. What do the newspapers say about me? The ?'Fallen Messiah'?

"Draco, you don't know how sad I am when I look at Lucius...someone like you is in front of me, and you are still missing...I am really desperate...

"Draco, why did you run away after saying you loved me?

"Draco, I didn't do what I promised you. I'm sorry... you can punish me however you want, but don't leave me, don't hide from me...

"Draco...I lost, I couldn't find you, you won, come out quickly...I...miss you..."

Holding the teacup in trembling hands, Harry smiled, "Look, I've already made tea for you...your favorite Chinese green tea..."

A tear fell into the tea, and there was a sound of water droplets colliding. Harry shook his hand, and the tea cup fell to the ground with a "smack", and the tea mixed with tears splashed on his shoes.

Harry covered his face with his hands, and an uncontrollable sob came out of his throat, and tears filled his face in an instant.

"Draco, Draco... Draco...

"I can't find you..."
