Chapter 181 Resurrection Chapter
Hogwarts was uneventful until Easter Eve, until Hermione went to Yuna's office to inform Jacqueline that they were going to the kitchen on Easter.
Jacqueline looked at Hermione in disbelief. She didn't think anything good would happen if Granger asked her to go to the kitchen.
"We're going to make eggs with the elves," Hermione continued. "And you have to come and wear your badge because you're our advisor."
"What about us?" Jacqueline called out in disbelief, and Yuna on the front podium glanced at them.
"We, all the SPEW club members, are going to make eggs with the house-elves!" said Hermione even louder. "I asked Ron's mother for the egg-making recipe, and it looked pretty easy. Thanks The inspiration you provide me." She said happily.
"That's great, that's great." Jacqueline gasped and nodded to herself, "Go make eggs with a group of house-elves! Merlin, why don't you invite all the students from Hogwarts to come together? Of course, Maybe you could invite Klum to see how well you can do outside of class."
"I thought about getting the whole of Hogwarts involved," said Hermione happily, "but I took your advice and took it one step at a time. As for Krum, I told him not to follow." I'm sick because I need a little privacy and he's interrupting my reading."
"This is the best thing you've done in a while!" Jacqueline said, pointing at Hermione. "When did your damn activity start?"
"I'll be there early in the morning because I have some preparations to do. If you don't mind, I hope you'll be there by nine o'clock."
"I don't mind, of course I don't mind." Jacqueline snorted angrily, "Isn't it the perfect day to spend Easter with the house-elves making eggs at nine o'clock in the morning on a holiday? Why would I mind!"
"You'd better bring Pansy." Hermione ignored Jacqueline's sarcasm directly, "My plan is to make an easter egg for everyone in Hogwarts, although we definitely can't do it, I still Want to try it. If we don't finish by dinnertime, the house-elves will make up the rest. Still, we'll need plenty of help," she said, nodding to Jacqueline, and heading out.
"I wish I had a sudden and serious illness tonight, or the ceiling of the Slytherin common room fell down," Jacqueline muttered.
"I hope you have fun tomorrow." Yuna looked at her gently from the podium. "Maybe we can receive your chocolate eggs on Halloween later."
Jacqueline snorted and continued to study McGonagall's notebook.
At nine o'clock on Easter, when Jacqueline dragged Pansy into the kitchen, Hermione was directing Harry and Ron to move two large boxes around.
"It's very good of you to come." She smiled happily, and then raised her chin at the table near the fireplace. "I know you haven't had breakfast, so I brought you some. Jacqueline, you Can you help melt all the chocolate when you're done eating? Pansy, I want you to help Harry and Ron sort the candies."
"She's a real boss," Pansy said, as she and Jacqueline walked to the table where Dobby was standing next to Winky, who was drunk. "Do something as boring as distributing candy early in the morning."
"Stop complaining," Jacqueline snorted, grabbed a piece of French toast and stuffed it into her mouth, and picked up a glass of milk with her right hand, "Or do you want to change it with me?"
Pansy glanced at the cauldron that was at least a man's height on top of the flames.
"Not at all," she said.
After they had eaten and drank, they wished each other good luck, and Jacqueline walked over to her cauldron.
"So I just have to keep stirring until the chocolate in the pot is melted, right?" Jacqueline looked at the house-elf standing next to her, with strange strings of stones hanging from his neck. "It's not difficult," said Jacqueline, tapping the stirring stick in the pot with her wand, and beckoning the house-elf to pour all the chocolate into it.
"If I may, I would like to ask, how did you agree to let us do this? I'm just purely curious." Jacqueline stared at He who was bringing another bowl of whole chocolates. sensitive.
"Miss Granger said she wanted a present for everyone at Hogwarts, and she needed our help," said the house-elf cheerfully. "We're honored that we can help."
"Yeah, that's right." Jacqueline snorted, looking at Hermione who was walking towards her with a little anger, "What a gift."
She bent down and whispered in Hermione's ear as she put the bowl down, "What an excuse."
"I learned it from the nicest one," said Hermione triumphantly. "You should pay attention to your pot, it has started to smoke."
"It doesn't look like my teacher is the best one." Jacqueline curled her lips, "So, I just need to finish this pot and go back to sleep, right? It's very simple, and it doesn't take until the afternoon. "
"What are you talking about," said Hermione, "this is just the beginning, we still have a lot of chocolate to melt. When Neville and others come, I need them to pour these melted chocolates into molds, and then Put all the candies they want in it. I'm thinking about putting in some zippy beans, but we can't put all the flavors in there, we should have some of them."
"I'm sorry." Jacqueline shook her head violently, "I must have misheard just now, you said this is just the beginning?" Jacqueline opened her eyes wide and pointed at the pot of chocolate in front of her, "Is it just the beginning? "
"Now you realize how much work a house-elf has in a day."
At this moment, some Gryffindor students came in, and they saw the scene in the kitchen, especially when Pansy was there sorting the sweets and gasped.
"Shut your mouths," Pansy said grimly, looking at them, "because I don't even want to see you early on Easter morning."
"These are your molds." Hermione picked up a few metal round eggs on the table and walked over to them, and distributed them, "Jacqueline's chocolate sauce has been boiled in a pot, and now I want you to pour them Into this mold, and fill it with the candies you want. Harry, Ron, and Pansy have sorted them all."
"I'm sorry." Neville looked a little confused, he opened his mouth and yawned, "What did you just say? Can you say it again?"
"Actually," Jacqueline put down her wand and shook her hand, "could you arrange for someone to do it for me? My hands are a little sore."
"Of course no problem." Hermione nodded. "Then, Neville, you go help melt the chocolate. It's not very difficult, just be careful not to let the pot smoke."
"So easy that I want to go back to sleep." Jacqueline yawned, sat down on the table where Dobby was, picked up a piece of French toast, tore it into small pieces, and threw it into her mouth.
"I think you're being lazy," Ron said loudly, turning to look at her.
"I think as a consultant, I just need to contribute brainpower." Jacqueline said. "Although I am very curious about how our president made gift giving such a labor-intensive activity."
"I think through this activity, you can better understand how hard the house elves work, so that you will be more willing to give them the benefits they deserve." Hermione looked up at them beside the cauldron .
"For the first time, I don't know what she's talking about." Jacqueline looked at the completely confused Harry, Ron and Pansy, and smacked her lips, "Or, I know what she's talking about, but I hope I don't I know. But, if this is your purpose, you succeeded, we all know, and we will treat house elves better in the future, can we go back now?"
Hermione glared at her, then turned to monitor the others.
"It's such a waste of money for me to do these things." Pansy shook her head, and she took the sorted candies to Seamus and Dean.
"Yeah, think about it, the future Aurors, we who can eat chocolate frogs, are actually making chocolate eggs. It's a shame to say it." Ron said with a red face.
"Auror?" Jacqueline snorted with a smile, "Just you?"
"Professor Moody said it!" cried Ron. "He said Harry would make a good Auror, didn't he, Harry, the night you solved the riddle of the golden egg, Professor Moody I told you personally."
"You reminded me when you mentioned Professor Moody," Jacqueline patted her forehead, and walked to Harry and Ron, "Potter, did you tell me that you gave Professor Moody the Marauder's Map? "
"Yeah, what's the matter." Harry put down what he was doing, turned around and leaned on the table, and said with a thud.
"It's nothing, really smart." Jacqueline snorted coldly, "Tell me, you didn't tell him how to use it, did you?"
"I shouldn't have it." Harry thought for a while, "But, I remember that I didn't close the map when I gave it to him, so he can use it directly."
Jacqueline looked at him and wanted to send him straight to the school infirmary.
"But that night was weird," Harry continued, frowning, "I still don't understand why Crouch appeared in Snape's office? Didn't Percy say that Crouch was sick and could only write to him?" ?”
"Crouch?" Jacqueline's eyebrows were wrinkled, she folded her chest and tilted her head, "You'd better explain to me, Potter. You'd better explain to me everything that happened that day. "
"Explain what?" Hermione came over and looked at them with her chest folded. "I didn't ask you to chat."
"Jacqueline wants to know what happened the night I met Professor Moody." Harry turned around and resumed what he was doing.
"We have nothing to say to a Slytherin," said Ron.
"Really?" Jacqueline raised her eyebrows, "Let me think about it, it seems that in the Potions class some time ago, Professor Snape said that two of his very precious medicinal materials were stolen, one was African tree Snake skin, one is gill grass. African tree snake skin, that is a necessary item to make compound potion," Jacqueline said, looking at Hermione, "I think that should be someone's potions class in the second grade Come on, Blake stole the cauldron after blowing up Goyle, and as for the gill grass..."
Jacqueline raised her eyebrows, "Since the night before the game, Potter, you are still looking for spells, and I can't expect you to suddenly become enlightened in one night, knowing that gill grass is useful, and you also happen to know who has it. So, I think If you didn't steal it, someone else," Jacqueline looked at Harry.
There was a sudden sense of relief on his face.
"Maybe it's not a human," Jacqueline snorted, and continued to stare at Harry's face, and he became nervous again. "A certain kind of creature, or the kind that won't attract attention and can think for itself, in Huo Gwodsley, I'm guessing it's a house-elf, isn't it?"
Jacqueline sneered, "I don't even need to move my head anymore. Which house elf will help you desperately? Harry Potter, our savior. But I want to remind you that Dobby is now Hogwarts employee, what he did was stealing, Potter, you said that if I told Dumbledore about this... Of course, he would not punish him, he would probably just smile and go. But A stealing elf, do you think Dumbledore could have kept him if it was known? Which wizard would hire a stealing elf? So, the question is, Potter, you want your friend because Are they punished for what you did?"
"Are you threatening us? Jacqueline?" Hermione said unhappily, "Are you going to report us to Professor Snape?"
"You, of course not, but..." Jacqueline glanced at Hermione and snorted, "I can't promise anything else."
"Well then," Hermione looked at Harry, "you don't say anything, Harry, unless Miss Jacqueline over here promises she won't tell anyone on Dobby."
"Are you threatening me? A know-it-all?" Jacqueline narrowed her eyes slightly.
Hermione didn't speak, she just folded her chest and looked at Jacqueline.
"I can only guarantee that I will not say this on purpose." Jacqueline said.
Hermione thought about it, and thought there was nothing wrong with that. "Tell her, Harry."
"Before the second item, Digory suggested that I go to the bathroom, which he said would help me unravel what the second item was. So I tried it that night, when I came out of the prefect's bathroom I had the Marauder's Map and the Invisibility Cloak with me so I wouldn't bump into anyone. Then I was on my way back to the Gryffindor common room when Barty Crouch's name appeared in Professor Snape's office .”
"So I thought why, I was so engrossed in my thoughts, I forgot to jump over a tricky step when I was going up the stairs, I was stuck in it, but luckily I was wearing an invisibility cloak, and I was trying to escape My golden egg, and the Marauder's map all fell, which brought Filch, and Snape. But fortunately, Professor Moody was there later, and he helped me out. And then asked if I could lend him the Marauder's Map, what can I say?" Harry shrugged, "And, he said he could use him to great advantage. So I thought, why not? It's all right Disadvantage, right?"
"Of course there is no harm," Jacqueline snorted. "Why is there no harm in holding a map that can know the location of everyone in Hogwarts school?"
"He's our Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher," said Ron impatiently. "What bad things could happen? And he said that Harry would make a great Auror."
"Yes, of course, what bad things can a former Auror do with a Marauder's Map? By the way, Potter, Professor Moody said you could make a good Auror before you promised to give him the map or after?"
Harry's face turned red all of a sudden, "Well, after...but after I asked him some questions..."
Jacqueline waved her hand and said impatiently, "That's great. If the person who asked you for the map was Professor Snape, you're probably already discussing what bad things he wants to do again."
Ron puffed his cheeks, "Of course we don't think so." He muttered to himself, but obviously, he didn't believe it himself.
"Never mind that." Hermione waved her hand. "Why do you think Mr. Crouch sneaked into Snape's office? And, since he can sneak into Hogwarts at will, why would he pretend to be sick?"
"I want to know why Professor Moody is there." Jacqueline asked with her right hand resting on her chin.
"What's the point of curiosity," said Harry, somewhat annoyed that Jacqueline suspected Moody. "His office is near there."
"But you didn't see Professor McGonagall appearing in front of you after Barty Crouch's name appeared in Snape's office."
Harry and Ron looked at her, feeling their heads go dizzy.
"Are you suspecting that Mr. Barty Crouch used Polyjuice Potion to turn into Professor Moody, so he can't work in the Ministry of Magic?" Hermione smacked her mouth to recall, she just finished speaking, and she was startled Jump. "But, Jacqueline, it's impossible, and why would Mr. Crouch do it?"
"I don't think that's the Mr. Crouch we know." Jacqueline was still thinking, she looked at Hermione and said slowly. "There's another guy in this world named Barty Crouch."
Hermione was shocked, "You mean Mr. Crouch's son, Barty Crouch Jr.? But isn't he imprisoned in Azkaban and dead?" She said, "Unless. . . ”
"Yeah," Jacqueline narrowed her eyes and turned to look at the figure next to Dobby. "Maybe something terrible happened in that house." She smiled at Hermione as she spoke. , "Interested to find out? Hermione?"
Hermione blushed as Jacqueline called her name for the first time in days. "Oh, of course," she said, looking at the boxes on the table, "of course."
Jacqueline looked at Hermione in disbelief. She didn't think anything good would happen if Granger asked her to go to the kitchen.
