Chapter 217 Bear?

Jacqueline had a good dream. She dreamed that Hermione Granger accepted her invitation and came to her house, wanting to join her for Christmas lunch. Normally, only her family would show up at Christmas. Lunch! This is really a good dream, Jacqueline smiled, she retracted her hand holding the bear, and the bear seemed to be extra soft today.

In her sleep, she heard the voices of her two uncles, Raymond and Lucas, from downstairs.

"Where's Jacqueline? She's usually awake at this time. Horses B1 to D2."

"Maybe she was too tired. I heard that she was busy the day before yesterday and didn't come back from Pete's until midnight, and went to find Norm early the next morning. Although I don't know what she is doing, but at this time , better than rushing. Ma G8 to F6."

"But today is Christmas, and it would be too bad if she didn't wake up before lunch. Pawn G2 to G3."

"She will definitely be up before that time, if not, let's go up and call her. Pawns C7 to C5."

"It's too inappropriate for us to go. She is a big girl. Before the Quidditch World Cup last year, Elizabeth wouldn't let me into her room. I didn't expect it. She was so small the year before last, and now she is about to be with her." Her mother is as tall as her mother. In a few years she should have a child. Like F1 to G2."

"Then who should we call? Although Una and James have gone to town, if Jacqueline doesn't get up before they come back, she will suffer. By the way, let mother go. Ma B8 arrives C6."

"If she's not awake by eleven o'clock. Horses G1 to F3."

Jacqueline grumbled from her throat, and slowly opened her eyes, wanting to see what time it is, why Uncle Ray and Uncle Lucas started playing chess so early. She rubbed her chin unconsciously on her bear, and then habitually kissed the bear's head, but today, that head didn't seem as soft as usual, a little hairy, and the smell was surprisingly familiar. And that, the object she thought was a bear let out a soft groan.

"Come on, Crookshanks."

Jacqueline was taken aback, and she woke up immediately. Her bear was not a living thing, it was a completely unenchanted item from the Muggle world. She raised her head and looked in front of her hard, and there was another person in her arms, a woman with brown hair! Not the brown bear.

Jacqueline was surprised to find that her hands were on the woman's waist, holding her tightly in her arms. They were squeezed in the middle of the bed, and the quilt only covered their lower bodies.

This is not normal!Someone sneaked in while she was sleeping?

No, not right. She knows this woman.

This, this is Hermione!

Jacqueline's head was spinning rapidly, and what happened last night or early this morning flashed through her mind quickly. That would explain why there was suddenly a Gryffindor 'know-it-all' on her bed!

But Jacqueline was surprised to find that she couldn't control her voice, and a terrified cry came from her throat, startling the people downstairs and waking up the people on the bed.

"Jacqueline, what happened?" Lucas wanted to jump off the chessboard, but Ray stopped him.

"Having nightmares again? Jacqueline." Ray asked half nervously and half teasingly.

"Ah!" Another scream that was slightly different from Jacqueline's usual voice came from her room. Ray and Lucas glanced at each other, and jumped off the chessboard at the same time, heading towards the north where Jacqueline was. The tower rushed away. "Jacqueline, what happened?" The two of them yelled, and then more white figures floated out of the main building.

"Oh, Merlin! The wall is solid!" Jacqueline didn't have time to stop Hermione from screaming when she just woke up. She turned around and touched the wand on the bedside table behind her, and anxiously cast a spell on her wall.

Hermione hadn't fully woken up yet, she sat blankly on Jacqueline's bed, and didn't have time to think about what happened after they fell asleep, and why the people who were on both sides of the bed before falling asleep ran together.

"Hey, hey, hey." There were several sounds of hitting the wall from downstairs, mixed with angry curses.

"Oh shit, why did she seal the walls? We can't get through!"

"Perhaps she didn't do it, William! Someone may have broken in."

"What are you talking about, Ray. Yuna has sealed the castle, and no one can get in except the portkey."

"We can still go up her sewer, three uncles."

"What a clever boy!" Then there were several sounds of entering the water.

"Oh, no!" Jacqueline jumped up from the bed, "I'm fine, I'm fine!" she yelled frantically, waving her hands and rushed to the bathroom, "I really..."

But it was too late, several white figures had already jumped out of the pool and passed through the white cloth in front of the bathroom. When they saw the situation in Jacqueline's room, they were all frightened.

Jacqueline stood in the middle of the room like a madman, she was barefoot, her clothes were disheveled, and she held a wand in her hand. The other brown-haired girl sat on her bed, wrapping herself tightly in the comforter, still looking as if she hadn't recovered from the shock.

"What happened?" Arthur's anxious voice came from the garden, "How is Jacqueline?"

"There's a girl on the bed in her room," William screamed.

"It looks like the girl spent the night in her room," Lucas said.

"Oh, she just invited a guest," Elizabeth said.

"I think that's Hermione Granger, the girl from Gryffindor!" said Jethroe.

Then, they fell into an awkward silence, Jacqueline staring at the relatives coming out of her bathroom, Hermione looked at Jacqueline in a daze, Elizabeth and William looked at them, and Lucas covered them Caught the eyes of Jacqueline's brother.

"You're too young to watch this," he said seriously.

But, one ghost blocking the other? Are you serious?

"Get down!" Arthur shouted angrily in the garden. "You guys are too shameful!"

"Good luck." William and Lucas winked at Jacqueline before disappearing into her pool.

"You'll be fine." Elizabeth reassured.

"We've wanted to see you for a long time." Jethro said with a smile.

Then, one by one, they re-disappeared in Jacqueline's pool.

"We're in big trouble." Jacqueline stood barefoot in the middle of the room, looking at Hermione, who turned pale.

"You didn't tell me, they didn't know I was coming." Hermione looked like she was about to cry.

"I don't know if you'll come." A few minutes later, Jacqueline changed her clothes in her room because Hermione had already taken her bathroom. "If you don't come, I don't want them to pay too much attention to it. It can be like a..."

"So," Hermione yelled from the bathroom, as she slammed her bag down on the sink, causing her reflection in the mirror to cry out in displeasure, "you didn't even think I'd come over."

"I'm not sure if you'll come or not," Jacqueline tried to correct, "and I thought you'd arrive this morning, I didn't expect..."

"If you want me to come at a certain time, then you should make it clear when you invite me, or when you send me the portkey!" Hermione came out of the bathroom, she had changed into her usual clothes.

"This is the first time I've invited a girl over to my house for Christmas!" Jacqueline yelled at her, "Sorry if I act like a newbie, because I am! So if I do something wrong It's a mistake I don't know about, I can only ask you to forgive me!"

Hermione looked at Jacqueline who was a little hysterical, and her mood suddenly wasn't so bad. "You're inviting a girl over to your house for the first time?" she asked, trying to hide her smile.

"So I'm sorry if I didn't gain much experience before." Jacqueline said still angrily. "Listen, Hermione, I don't want you to freak out, but you are, as far as I know, the first outsider in 16 years to come to our house." Jacqueline walked uneasily around her room Back and forth, "And I know they'd love to see you, so, I'm not sure, maybe they'll ask you questions, lots of them. So, I'm really sorry, Hermione, if..."

"It's okay, Jacqueline." Hermione stepped forward and put her hand on Jacqueline's shoulders, making her look at her. "They're your family, Jacqueline. They look fine, trust me, if I can Survive at Umbridge's hands, I don't think we'll have a problem."

"Umbridge is nothing compared to them," said Jacqueline worriedly. "If you think I'm good at talking, they're my uncles, and my grandfather."

"And we have nothing to hide." Hermione looked directly at Jacqueline. "We haven't, have we?"

Jacqueline looked at Hermione without answering.

Hermione raised her eyebrows, "What are you hiding from me?"

"I'm very sorry." Jacqueline sat back on the bed distraught, panting heavily, "I have to tell you the truth, I lied to you, Hermione. I said there was a party here, But not here, sorry. I, I just wanted to find an excuse for you to come over. I really want to see you, Hermione, and I want to introduce you to my parents, family. I want you to come to our Christmas Lunch because, because..."

Jacqueline looked up at the ceiling, with tears welling in her eyes, and let out a long breath, "Because only the Graham family can attend Christmas lunch, not even my godfather. I ...you...I'm not good at saying these things, but, Hermione, you, you know what I'm trying to say!"

"Of course I do." Hermione covered her mouth with one hand, her eyes were red, she walked over and knelt in front of Jacqueline, rubbing her leg, "I know, I know. Jacqueline, I am very Thank you for inviting me over. Although you can tell me directly, I will not be shocked by this incident."

"I just don't want you to think it's a..."

"A date?" Hermione asked back.

"I don't want it to be so formal the first time, I mean, I don't know what you think, but if you think differently than I do, I don't want to..."

"Here I am, Jacqueline." Hermione looked up at Jacqueline, who was trying to wipe the tears from her eyes, "and I'm glad, even though I've waited almost a year for your invitation. "

"One year?" Jacqueline looked at Hermione in disbelief, "One year?"

"That's right." Hermione nodded seriously, "One year."

"I'm just a fool, aren't I?" Jacqueline choked out.

"You're our number one," Hermione reassured. "Still an advisor to SPEW."

"But I'm an idiot for that! Last year I thought I was jealous of your friendship with Potter, Krum."

Hermione didn't say anything, she sat next to Jacqueline and hugged her.

"Thank you for the reassurance, Hermione. I really need this." When Jacqueline could control her breathing, she let out a long breath and stood up from the bed. "We'd better wait until they come up again." Go down." She glanced at the wall clock on the wall, "Oh, no. It's past eleven o'clock, and lunch starts at twelve o'clock on time. Hermione, you'd better change into your dress. If you don't have one, I I can borrow it from you. We are probably about the same size."

"Aunt Molly helped me a lot." Hermione chuckled, "I probably had a breakdown at the time."

"You can use the bathroom here." Jacqueline nodded at her, "I'll go downstairs, come find me when you're done." She stepped forward and hugged Hermione, "We can get through this, yes Bar."

"It's not that bad, Jacqueline."

Jacqueline shook her head slightly, and walked to her closet, where all her dresses from childhood to adulthood were kept. She chose a lake blue one-shoulder dress from it, and went downstairs with her arms in her arms.
