Chapter 292 Chapter 292

The lounge in Malfoy Manor was full of people again, everyone bowed their heads in silence.Voldemort was sitting directly in front of the marble fireplace, and everyone's bodies could not help but leaning to the sides, as if trying to escape.

"There are only five days!" Voldemort's clear and high voice sounded on the long table accompanied by the 'hissing' sound of the giant snake beside him, "Potter will be an adult in five days. And we have I don't even know where he is!"

Voldemort's scarlet eyes scanned everyone around the table one by one, and the heads of the Death Eaters were lowered even lower, they didn't dare to look at Voldemort at all.

"Lucius," Voldemort turned his head and looked at Malfoy, "do you have any good ideas?"

Lucius Malfoy looked up in surprise, as if Voldemort was going to let him go and get Harry Potter in front of them now.His skin was sallow in the firelight, shadows fell around his deep-set eyes, and he opened his mouth in a husky voice.

"I, I think Potter will be at the Weasleys' house, master."

"Even if you're right." Jacqueline leaned back in her chair, tapped the table in front of her lightly, and bowed slightly to Voldemort, "But my lord, even if I very much doubt that Potter is staying in Wayne at this time." Sly and their family, instead of wandering around because of their so-called heroism and not wanting to cause trouble to the Weasley family, but the key point," she spread her hands, "I don't think anyone here knows that Wesley Where is their home? And, even if we know, there are those magical guards around his house, isn't that how we let him slip away last time?"

"Then," said Voldemort calmly, "you have a plan?"

Jacqueline smiled slightly, and she made up her mind, "I have an immature idea, my lord. And I hope to get your forgiveness first."

Jacqueline looked at Voldemort, but Voldemort didn't say anything, so she went on, "I've been wondering how traces work these days, and it's obviously just an artificial tracking method. Want to know Where Potter is, we just need to create another 'trace', a tracking method that is very special to Potter, or something that only Potter can say and do."

Jacqueline looked around, and she found that everyone, including Voldemort, was staring at her, so she continued, "All I can think of is the name of your lord for the time being, six years at Hogwarts Here, I only heard Potter and Dumbledore say the word 'Voldemort', but now that Dumbledore is dead..."

"But we can't just create such a 'trace'." A tall and strong guy like Goyle said, laughing hoarsely.

Jacqueline didn't smile, she glanced at the man, then at Voldemort, "Yes, we can't, but the Ministry of Magic can. But after Potter becomes an adult, he can go wherever he wants, if He's out of the UK and I don't think we can cross track, so I think it's just a fallback."

"Yaxley!" said Voldemort, looking down the table, his eyes flickering strangely with the fire in his eyes. "When will the Ministry of Magic fall?"

Everyone turned their heads, and Yaxley straightened up.

"Master, I have good news about this. Piers Thicknesse has now controlled most of the department leaders."

Many people around Yaxley looked delighted, and Dolohov, who sat next to him with his long, distorted face, even patted him on the shoulder a few times.

"It's not enough." Voldemort raised his big pale hand, and there was no sound on the long table again. "In five days, this is obviously impossible."

"Then we'll kill him!" Bellacritus leaned toward Voldemort, as if words weren't enough to express her desire for Voldemort's closeness. "We can go straight to the Ministry of Magic and grab Scrimgeour. He must know where Potter is."

"What a good idea." Jacqueline rolled her eyes, "Rush into the Ministry of Magic like a fool, and have a fight with the Aurors and members of the Order of the Phoenix waiting there." Jacqueline flattened mouth, "I thought that after going through what happened last year, you guys have improved somewhat."

"What do you think?" Voldemort turned his head slightly to Jacqueline, "Tell me."

"Bella Critus's idea can't be considered too bad," Jacqueline looked at Bella, she chuckled, "but the key is the timing, our purpose is to assassinate," Jacqueline paused , she continued, "Scremgeour, instead of fighting the Aurors. Just like Draco killed Dumbledore, we attack when the Ministry of Magic's defenses are weakest."

Jacqueline looked around, "With all due respect, if Potter is really hiding with the Weasley family or other members of the Order of the Phoenix, then the Weasley family's wedding in a few days should be the best opportunity."

"But what if Potter wasn't there! If he wasn't going to the wedding at all!" Bella exclaimed, "and what are you going to do?"

"It's very simple." Jacqueline glanced at her lightly. "Aren't we in the upper echelons of the Ministry of Magic, don't we have friends around? He should be able to get the Aurors' itinerary. If the Aurors are really big that day If it does, that's proof that Potter's going there, unless Scrimgeour thinks a wedding alone is worth the trouble."

"But then again, if it is really necessary to use force to break into the Ministry of Magic, I don't think everyone here should be afraid except me. I personally don't think that fighting is the best way at any time."

There was a burst of laughter around the table, and many people exchanged pleasant glances.

Jacqueline looked at them with her head tilted. She blinked, shook her head and sighed softly. She had a dozen ways to kill those who laughed at her in an instant, and none of them required the use of a wand.

"Tell Thickness," said Voldemort, his voice clear though the boos and jeers, "on the wedding day of the Weasleys, we're going to give them an unforgettable Presents. And you," Voldemort looked at Jacqueline, "you follow me."

The hilarity froze, and all the Death Eaters stared at Jacqueline with wide eyes.

"But my lord," Jacqueline frowned slightly, "I'm not good at..."

"I know about Scrimgeour's relationship with your family," said Voldemort quietly. "Is that why you are rejecting me?"

"No." Jacqueline hurriedly bowed to Voldemort, "I'm just worried that since I don't have much actual combat experience, I'll hold you back."

"You won't." Voldemort slightly raised his hand, and Nagini slowly climbed up Voldemort's chair, "And I'm pretty sure your former Headmaster, future Headmaster of Hogwarts, Professor Snape Happy to teach you. That's it."

"Looks like I should congratulate Mr. Snape." After everyone in the room left, Jacqueline looked at Snape across the table with her chest folded. "Finally sat on the headmaster's throne?"

Snape stood up straight, walked to Jacqueline's side, looked down at her, "Do you think you are smart, Jacqueline? There are many people in this room who are smarter than you."

"That's really interesting." Jacqueline smiled and looked up at Snape, raised her eyebrows slightly, and asked a little provocatively, "Then why haven't the Death Eaters got any big rewards until now?" Progress? Why is Potter still alive and kicking somewhere to do something heroic until now? And more importantly, since there are so many smart people here, why did the Lord ever lose power? Or is this simply Mr Snape's dissatisfaction with the slight favor my lord is showing me now?"

"Everyone here has followed the Dark Lord longer than you have lived in this world." Snape said softly, "The Dark Lord will never doubt our loyalty."

"Then maybe he just suspects you, oh, of course, I'm not talking about your ability, Mr. Snape, to be another Death Eater."

"You'd better know what you're doing." Snape glanced at Jacqueline, "Enough talking, come with me, before I act, I'll at least give you the ability to protect yourself, not Easily defeated by the Aurors, embarrassing to Slytherin House."

"Don't worry, Professor Snape." Jacqueline stood up with a smile, and walked out of the room behind Snape. "I know exactly what I'm doing. But then again, I'm just a lonely person right now." Well, Mrs. Graham has thrown me out of the house, so if I die, no one will shed a single tear."

Hermione, Ron, and Harry stood shoulder to shoulder, all clutching the relic Dumbledore had given them in their hands. The Deluminator in Ron's hand, a battered copy of "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" in Hermione's lap, and the Snitch in Harry's hand.

Scrimgeour stood before them, poking the tip of his wand into Harry's chest so hard that it burned a hole in Harry's T-shirt like a lit cigarette.

"Hey!" Ron yelled, jumping up and raising his wand, but Harry said, "No! Do you want him to have an excuse to arrest us?"

"You remembered it wasn't at school, did you?" said Scrimgeour, breathing heavily into Harry's face, "remembered that I'm not Dumbledore and won't forgive your rudeness, will I? You could use that scar as a crown, Potter, but it's not up to a 17-year-old kid to tell me how to do my job! You should learn to respect people!"

"You should learn to earn the respect of others!" said Harry.

"I don't need to learn how to earn the respect of a reckless hairy kid!" Scrimgeour gasped, his eyes flicking to Hermione, "You think every 17-year-old is followed by a horde of Aurors these days ? Everything you got now is because Dumbledore made you into a messiah. But not me!"

"Not every 17-year-old got their parents from Voldemort when they were little!" Harry yelled. "You'll never understand how I feel! I would give anything for..."

"My wife was killed by Voldemort when my son was just born! Right in front of my eyes!" Scrimgeour said grimly. "And her goddaughter lost almost all of her family on the same day."

Hermione gasped, covering her mouth tightly.

"Yes," Scrimgeour said, looking at Hermione, "you know her, Miss Granger, and if your choice is Potter. Mark my words, one of the most brilliant young wizards I know, because You gave up everything she ever had. So, before you do anything, think for her."

Scrimgeour turned around, grimacing, and limped out of the room.
