Chapter 33 Dumbledore

"Jacqueline." When Jacqueline tiptoed back to the Slytherin lounge in the early morning, she happened to walk out of the bedroom on Pansy's side. She glanced at Jacqueline and said lazily, "Hey, you look terrible, like you haven't slept all night."

Because I really didn't sleep.Jacqueline thought secretly, and walked towards the bedroom.

"Where did you go yesterday? Gryffindor played against Ravenclay, and Harry Potter wasn't there. We tried to find you, but we couldn't find you anywhere." Pansy yawned, throwing herself away. to the couch. "By the way, we won the House Cup. By a wide margin over Gryffindor."

"That's great." Jacqueline nodded blankly, "I'm going to sleep for a while, if you have nothing else to do."

"Did you become a thief yesterday?" Pansy asked sleepily.

"Just went to the library."

"After the exam?"

Jacqueline didn't answer, she didn't even take off her clothes, she just lay down on her bed.

"Jacqueline, Jacqueline." Jacqueline was awakened by someone, and just as she opened her eyes, she saw Pansy's head in front of her eyes.

"Oh," Jacqueline turned over, "Even if the mysterious man appears in the common room right now, it won't make me get out of bed."

"You-Know-Who didn't come," Pansy said, "but the Headmaster did, in the common room. And, wants to see you."

"Okay, okay." Jacqueline struggled to sit up, and muttered dissatisfiedly, "That old man..."

"Merlin." Pansy cursed when she saw Jacqueline's dusty clothes. "Where the hell did you get such a suit?"

"I forgot." Jacqueline walked up the stairs, and Dumbledore was sitting on the sofa facing the fireplace.

"Sorry to interrupt your rest." Dumbledore stood up and turned to look at Jacqueline.

"Since you're back, I think, that means Harry is safe, and so is the Philosopher's Stone."

"Your little head," Dumbledore looked at Jacqueline with a smile, "have you ever rested?"

"While I'm sleeping."

"I'm happy to see Gryffindors and Slytherins working together instead of fighting each other."

"I was pulled over by Hermione," Jacqueline explained.

"Then she," Dumbledore looked over the half-moon glasses, "must be very persuasive to force a Graham."

"probably."

"Then," Dumbledore walked around the sofa and walked towards the door, "have a good rest."

"Have you nothing else to say to me?" Jacqueline asked.

"Like?" Dumbledore asked.

"I don't know." Jacqueline clenched her jaw, "Speaking of some great truth?"

"I suppose you've heard enough at home, the wisdom of us old men?"

"I can." Jacqueline lowered her head and looked at the sofa in front of her. "May I ask you a question?"

"You can ask any question you want, Jacqueline. Only, not all questions have answers."

"You, are you still afraid of the dark now? I mean, what you mentioned before..."

"Oh," Dumbledore smiled, "I thought it would be a while before you asked me this question. Of course, I can answer this question for you." Dumbledore nodded, "Yes, Jacqueline , I'm not afraid of the dark anymore. Ever since I found out there's no kid under my bed."
