sailing trip

Chapter 30 Our Ending

Early the next morning, Miro's butler drove over to pick up Ryan and Jay in a carriage. They were in the city of Lisbon, so they arrived at Miro's house not long after.

Milo had already been waiting at home, and when they met, he gave them a warm hug, introduced them to his parents, and then took them to the garden to sit down and chat.

"Milo, your family is so magnificent." Ryan said with emotion.

"This is a reward from the previous king. My father followed Prince Henry to learn sailing. He lived and died at sea for many years. Now that he is old, he concentrates on studying astronomy at home. I will take his place."

"Then do you like sailing?" Ryan blurted out without knowing why he asked such a question, maybe because the word "replacement" sounds a little passive.

Milo lowered his eyes: "I can't say whether I like it or not. I was born to dedicate myself to sailing. Not only me, but also my family. Political factors are involved in it, so I don't want to say more."

Ryan gave a soft "hmm" and said nothing.

Seeing the scene, Milo was a little embarrassed, so he changed the subject and asked, "Where are you and Jay? Are you going to continue going to sea?"

Ryan shook his head: "I want to be a teacher. Jay will accompany me. When Jimmy and the others come back, we will go to the king to make this request. I don't know if he will agree. Do you want to be with us?" Ryan finally asked Milo tentatively.

Ryan looked expectantly in his eyes, and Milo finally calmed down and pretended to be nonchalant, saying: "No, teaching and educating people is not suitable for me. I'm afraid I'm going to mislead my students. I'll continue My nautical career, maybe I will become the next Mr. Da."

Hearing what he said, Ryan forced a smile: "Well, I wish you success."

Milo looked at him with a smile, not reaching the bottom of his heart.

The three chatted casually for a while, and Miro told them some interesting stories that happened in Lisbon. Ryan and Jay also shared their previous experience in the cabin. After having lunch with Miro's family , Ryan and Jay went back.

"It does look somewhat similar to your mother, are you sure he is your younger brother?" Milo's father asked him after watching the two of them leave.

"It's just based on intuition, and my mother didn't leave any tokens, but there is an inexplicable sense of familiarity with him. No matter what the truth is, he is my own brother in my heart."

"You can let the kid stay if you want."

"No, it might be better for him to let him live the life he wants." Milo said blankly, looking at the place Ryan had just sat in the garden.

Ryan has been in a low mood since Milo came out of his house. Jay knew the reason, but he still had some concerns about Milo.

"Jie, I'm sorry, I just kept thinking about Milo, and I didn't care about you." Ryan said.

"Ryan, I know I should trust you, but with Milo..." Jay hesitated.

"Jie, I understand, the person I love is you," Ryan turned his head to look at Jie and said, "I have been telling you about the kindness I have for Milo, I think it may be because of the love he gave me. It feels more like a family, we were on a boat for a while, he really took care of me, like a brother, I wanted to give him a hand, but obviously, I couldn't, maybe, I made it up Passionate."

Jay looked at Ryan's eyes without any wavering, and hugged Ryan's shoulder: "No, you didn't, Miro must have his own difficulties, the one who should say sorry should be me, I love you Ryan .”

Ryan hugged Jie back: "I love you Jie too."

The two hugged each other quietly for a long time before slowly separating. Just a little bit of unhappiness rushed away, and the two happily returned to their place of residence. Unexpectedly, as soon as the door was opened, Jimmy was ushered in The surprise!

"We're back Ryan Jie!" Jimmy's magnified face approached Ryan and rushed over.

"Oh my god, that's great! Jay and I miss you!"

"I have great news for you guys. Joe and I have already met our parents, hahaha!" Jimmy laughed and shared the good news with his good friends.

"Great! This is really news worth celebrating." Ryan looked at his little friend with a happy face.

"That's right, that's right, we came to celebrate with you as soon as we came back, let's go, Joe and I will treat everyone to dinner tonight."

Ryan looked up at the fading sunset and said with a smile: "Don't wait for the evening, just go now, we can eat until the evening, haha."

"Okay, ok, let's go."

So the four of them happily went to have afternoon tea and dinner together.

"Jimmy, Jay and I planned to meet the king and ask him to let us go to Evora as teachers when you two came back. What do you think?"

"Okay, ok, I told Joe's parents about this when I went to Joe's house before, and it's settled for both of us, so we'll go together tomorrow."

"Yeah!" Ryan nodded heavily.

"Eat, eat! Let me tell you, I'm going to Joe's house..."

The four of them were eating while chatting about the stories that happened around them in the past few days. The four people who became attached to each other not only found each other's favorite person, but also became each other's closest friends.
