[HP] Moonlight Forest Fairy Tale

Chapter 3 Funeral in the Forest

For a week, Rosina took care of Snape carefully. When it was time to remove the splint, he was surprised to find that all the injuries and fractures were healed. This shows that the herbs used by Rosina are very magical. After being able to move, his first priority was to bury the old lady.

In the dense forest with towering trees, Rosina put the old lady on a flower bed made of flowers.

She blew on the bone flute hanging from her chest, and it made a whimper sound familiar to Snape.

There was commotion in the forest. The ground was shaking slightly. After that, animals poured out from all directions.

Bears, wild boars, gray wolves, but also macaques, squirrels, and a herd of unicorns. At the head was a strong stag.

It has tall horns on its head, its fur is smooth and glowing with a golden shimmer, its figure is vigorous, and its appearance is extremely haughty.

When Snape saw it, he thought of that disgusting Trollhead Potter.

Rosina stepped forward, put Snape behind her, and said to them, "No, don't hurt him, he's my friend!"

Only then did Snape realize that the animals were flapping their nostrils at him, bared their teeth, and looked unfriendly.

The small figure of the girl stood in front of her.

Snape felt more wry smiles these days than he had in his entire life.I didn't expect to be protected by a little girl.

"Remember his smell, in this forest, don't hurt him!"

The girl gave an order, and the animals restrained themselves.

But the buck lowered its head at him, showing its hard antlers, and pawing the soil with its front hooves, as if it was about to attack.

Rosina patted its head and said something to it, and it shook its head reluctantly, expressing its agreement.

She really understands the language of animals!Snape was a little shocked.

At this moment Rosina went to the flower-bed and sang a song.

The unicorns formed a circle, and followed her to sing, and that soft and low singing was exactly what he heard last night.

It turned out that it was the singing of unicorns.

After the song was over, several wolves rushed up and tore the old lady's body.

"What are they doing!" Snape raised his wand.

"Oh no, don't attack them!" Rosina threw herself on his arm. "They're performing a funeral!"

Only then did Snape realize that some ancient tribes practiced the so-called "sky burial", which was to let animals eat the body of the dead.

He looked at the little girl in disbelief: "Are you willing to let her be eaten?"

It was extremely cruel to watch the flesh and blood of relatives being torn apart and devoured.

Although Rosina was sad, she insisted: "It must be like this, so that she can become a nutrient and be included in the cycle of the forest. Only in this way can her soul stay in the forest forever."

Theories of the Druids.Snape thought. Most of the girls are descendants of hermits.

"Mammy says I look best when I smile. I have to send her off smiling."

Rosina tried her best not to cry, and laughed through her tears.

Very tough girl.thought Snape.

"You don't have to force your friends to eat it," he said to himself: they'd probably have diarrhea!

"Buried in the soil, it can also become a nutrient for the forest."

Rosina was taken aback, thought about it carefully, smiled, and nodded.

The old lady was finally buried in the soil, forming a small tomb under the big tree.

That night Snape heard the unicorns singing sadly and peacefully, like a requiem.

The next morning, when the door was opened, it was empty. This surprised Rosina.

Snape also noticed that fresh meat and vegetables were delivered to the door every morning. Rosina said that her animal friends collected them for her.

"What happened?"

Rosina pinched her fingers and calculated: "Ah, it's Rudolph's turn today! Oh, he must be jealous."

Snape raised an eyebrow and asked the girl to explain.

"He called me his bride."

Veins popped out of Snape's face.

Rosina can understand the language of animals. Then marrying it is no joke!

"Absolutely not!" The man said without doubt: "You are a human, and it is an animal. It is impossible for you."

The little girl looked puzzled again: "But, there is a legend in the forest. There was a princess who married a unicorn."

"Legends are legends, this is reality, not a fairy tale!" Snape angrily reprimanded the little girl.

Rosina was still a little confused, but nodded obediently.

"In the future, you don't need to find him to provide you with prey!"

She only wanted to be a vegetarian, and all the meat was cooked for him.Calling a "rival in love" to hunt for himself is unacceptable to a proud magician.

Taking his wand, Snape walked into the forest alone.

He happened to be looking for the Flower of Lorraine.
