The whole world thinks I can exorcise ghosts

Chapter 4: The ashes are missing

The school gate of City No. [-] Middle School is very grand. There is a switch gate with a red warning light on the outside and a tall iron gate inside. The big iron gate looks like it has just been painted, and the green is particularly eye-catching.

Zhou Qi tapped his fingertips on the steering wheel twice, turned his head to Fengyue and said, "Here we are."

"I see," Feng Yue put away the laptop and unplugged the USB flash drive, and quickly glanced forward, "The green door is very...environmentally friendly."

"Don't let it go," Zhou Qi said with a smile after pulling the handbrake to stop the car, "The red paint before was even uglier. After the new principal took office, he didn't like it, so he asked a painter to paint it again."

Feng Yue nodded to express his understanding, "There is a printing shop, I need to print it."

"In fact, it's the same as sending a document directly." Zhou Qi pointed to a shop diagonally across from the door with "copy" in two large characters. I can't even smile anymore."

"Politeness." Feng Yue said concisely.

The photocopies of those previous award certificates were temporarily lost, and the resume was temporarily drafted by Feng Yue with Zhou Qi's laptop when he was in the car. Even so, there were five pages of printed ones.

"It's a bit rough." Feng Yue clicked his tongue and borrowed a stapler from the boss to bind it.

"Nonsense," Zhou Qi said indifferently, "Although City No. [-] Middle School is a key middle school, none of the teachers have a doctor's degree, and even the principal is only a master's degree." After that, he moved towards Fengyue. He whispered, "This master's degree is still amateur."

Feng Yue smiled and said nothing.

"Is the school you and Su Ke want to get a good deal?" Zhou Qi asked as he walked, "I don't have much savings, and I can't afford to be abused like this by you."

"My wife?" Feng Yue said jokingly.

"That's right," Zhou Qi said, "One day Su Ke will transfer his feelings from you to me, and that little investment will be regarded as a bride price."

"It's none of my business..." Feng Yue shrugged helplessly.

Entering the gate of City No. [-] Middle School is a big football field. The red runway is a bit dizzying under the scorching sun in June, but it doesn't make much sense to Fengyue.

In front of the football field, there are several high steps. Up the steps is the teacher's office building. The decoration style is all glass. The sunlight reflects on the dark blue glass, making people dizzy.

"It's too hot." Zhou Qi pulled out the fan out of nowhere, and pointed forward while shaking it, "the seventh floor."

Feng Yue nodded and picked up the steps.

"Aren't you hot?" Zhou Qi slapped the fan twice and held up the sun to block the top of his head. "It feels hotter this year than last year. It's not long since the summer and I can't bear it."

"It's okay." Feng Yue said.

"I feel that you have not been very afraid of the heat," Zhou Qi said after following him, thinking for a while, "It seems that you are not very afraid of the cold."

Feng Yue frowned, and said in a deep voice after a few seconds, "It's time for you to exercise your body."

Zhou Qi: "..."

The principal of No. [-] Middle School is elected every five years, just like the leadership election. The new principal's surname is Pan, and his name is Pan Zhenghua. He looks in his early forties, with thick eyebrows and a face with Chinese characters and thick lips. As his name suggests, he looks very decent.

Pan Zhenghua smiled while flipping through Fengyue's temporarily made resume, "Look at your resume, you also studied abroad in elementary school?"

"Yes." Feng Yue said.

"You speak Chinese quite well," Pan Zhenghua said in surprise, "Your Mandarin level is almost as good as that of the announcer."

"My parents are both Chinese, and they immigrated there with my grandfather after they got married," Feng Yue followed his words. "My dream when I was young was to be a host, and if I were an announcer, it's a bit of a foundation."

Pan Zhenghua nodded and said yes, he seemed very satisfied with Fengyue.

"Judging from your resume, I'm quite satisfied with you," Pan Zhenghua said with a smile, "Well, you go back and prepare. You will have an open class tomorrow, and I'll see your level, okay?"

Feng Yue nodded, got up and shook hands with him to say goodbye, Zhou Qi chatted with Principal Pan for a few more words, and then followed him out.

"Pretentiously," Zhou Qi said, "I'm extremely satisfied with you."

"Well," Feng Yue reached out and pressed the elevator, "I can see it."

When the elevator came up, Feng Yue went in first, glanced at Zhou Qi, "You don't have class today?"

"Two quarters in the afternoon." Zhou Qi said, "Call Su Ke to have lunch together."

Feng Yue gave him a meaningful look, but said nothing.

"Hey, it's not what you think," Zhou Qi waved his hand and said, "She asked you to find her when you're done with the work. I guess it's about running a school together... It's not me," Zhou Qi sighed. "Listening to her perfunctory plan that day, I really didn't dare to invest money in it."

"You don't need to vote," Feng Yue stepped out of the elevator, "I have money."

"Damn, you can't make things casually if you have money." Zhou Qi objected, "You're more reliable, I don't think Su Ke really takes it seriously."

Feng Yue clicked his tongue, "I didn't take it seriously either."

Zhou Qi: "...How much inheritance did your father leave you? You will not hesitate to transfer your household registration back and pretend to be so hard on me!"

Feng Yue smiled and said nothing.

Less than an hour after leaving, Zhou Qi's car was half-baked by the sun, and it happened to be on the driver's side.

"Hey, even the sun is against me." Zhou Qi opened the door, with an expression of not wanting to sit in, and threw the car key to Fengyue, "Come and drive."

Feng Yue took the key and frowned, "You know I don't like driving."

"Please," Zhou Qi patted his belly, "have pity on me for the fat I put on last fall."

Feng Yue glanced at his slightly bulging belly, which seemed to be developing from a ball to a basketball, and glanced at him sympathetically. Although he was extremely reluctant, he still walked around the front of the car and sat in the driver's seat.

"You don't like driving, so why bother to take the driver's license test?" Zhou Qi fastened his seat belt and said incomprehensibly, "Based on your family's conditions, just hire a driver."

"Know everything." Feng Yue started the car and said concisely.

Zhou Qi clicked his tongue, called Su Ke, and then set up a place for lunch.

"Bo Ya Ju." Zhou Qi clicked on the car navigation and said to Chong Fengyue.

Boyaju is located in the immigrant square in the center of the city. The immigrant square is not really full of overseas Chinese or foreigners who immigrated, but the relocated households from the old city. It is said that the best relocated households are divided into ten The unit building with six floors, one elevator and two households, everyone is so rich, so when the square was built, it was named Immigrant Square, which sounds very foreign.

When Fengyue first returned to China, Zhou Qi and the others met him at Boyaju in the Immigrant Square. At that time, Zhou Qi told him the reason for the name of the Immigrant Square. Fengyue didn't feel how foreign the name was.

This city is not big in the first place, and the Immigrant Square is less than five kilometers away from the No. [-] Middle School.

When Fengyue and the others arrived, Su Ke had already ordered the dishes, and the first brew of Pu'er had just been made.

"How was the interview?" Su Ke put a cup of filtered tea in front of Fengyue and asked.

"Hey, are you being discriminated against?" Zhou Qi nodded dissatisfiedly on the table in front of him.

Feng Yue glanced at him, pushed the cup in his hand over, "It's good."

"It's more than good," Zhou Qi didn't mind, he touched the teacup and drank it down, "I think Pan Xiao looks like he's almost carrying you in his pocket."

"It's not that exaggerated." Feng Yue smiled, took a sip from the teacup that Su Ke handed over again.

"Let me stop here first," Zhou Qi said, "It doesn't matter whether your lecture is good or not tomorrow, I'll cover it."

"Then today's meal should be regarded as an advance congratulation." Su Ke said.

Feng Yue smiled and said nothing, Su Ke glanced at him, "Did you read the email I sent you a few days ago?"

"I can't wait to see it before I print it out..." and lost it.The next few words were bitten between the teeth by Feng Yue and swallowed without saying it.

Su Ke knew that he was not used to looking at the computer and liked to print out everything directly, and thinking that this person went abroad in a hurry a few days ago, he probably really didn't have time to look at it, and didn't care much.

"Is there something urgent to go in such a hurry?" Su Ke asked after taking a sip of tea.

"Father is critically ill, see you for the last time." Feng Yue said briefly.

"Uh..." Su Ke was a little surprised, and then his face changed, "Sorry."

Feng Yue waved his hand to indicate that it was okay, "I happen to be free today, so tell me about the email you sent me."

"I looked at three places, two of which are [-]A and [-]A office buildings. There are too many people and miscellaneous, and the environment is not suitable," Su Ke said, taking a document out of her bag, "Finally, Wandu Building was settled. Here are basically hotels, the environment is quiet and comfortable, full-time students whose parents are worried can directly check into the hotel downstairs, and we can also cooperate directly with the hotel.”

Feng Yue took the contract and flipped through it. The contract was very simple. There were only three pages in total. He glanced at it roughly. It was a lease agreement, and Party A had already signed and stamped it.

Hearing what Su Ke said, Zhou Qi felt that his previous worries were a little unnecessary. Su Ke was obviously just perfunctory him before, and she probably already had a plan in mind for the specific details and development direction.

The waiters in blue and white cheongsams began to serve the dishes one after another. Feng Yue handed back the contract to Su Ke, "I don't know much about the location. You locals can figure out the rent, but I'm just putting my name in there. It's official. It’s also not suitable for frequent visits after work.”

"I understand." Su Ke accepted the contract.

"Hey, don't just talk about work after the meals are served, I have lost my appetite." Zhou Qi spooned half a bowl of soup into the bowl and handed it to Su Ke, "A bowl of soup before the meal is slim and healthy."

"Thank you." Su Ke took it, and thanked him politely and distantly.

Zhou Qi smacked his mouth, a gloomy look flashed across his face, and then disappeared.

"Fengyue really attracts attention wherever he goes." Halfway through the meal, Su Ke suddenly said with a smile.
