Chapter 56 If

"She won't come back," interrupted Tom. "Never again."

"I'm sorry," Dumbledore said softly.

Dumbledore's face suddenly blurred like water ripples.

"I thought you understood..." said the old Headmaster in a weary voice, "...I hope you do, Tom."

This is the headmaster's office at Hogwarts. Dumbledore fell on a chair, one of his hands was scorched, and blood came out from the wound on his chest, staining his dark blue robes red.

"It's you who should understand, Dumbledore." The man standing opposite him said, "You've already lost."

The man raised the gun in his hand, pulled the trigger, and the spell shot into Dumbledore's body like a bullet: "If you hadn't been able to withstand the temptation of the resurrection stone, I wouldn't have won so easily. You want to resurrect Who is it? Dumbledore."

The old principal accepted the fatal blow calmly, his body trembled, and the vitality and blood faded from his face.

"You didn't win," he said, his blue eyes terribly bright at the last moment, "turn around . . . Tom . . . "

"You don't understand anything, Dumbledore," said the man, finishing the finishing blow with the Killing Curse.

Light streamed from Dumbledore's eyes.

Light and shadow flowed, and the headmaster's office at Hogwarts became the topmost room of a skyscraper, and the man was overlooking the city that had become devastated and unrecognizable.

Death Eaters with white masks and cloaks walked through the city carrying black guns like gods of death.

After Dumbledore's death, no one can stop the madness of the man who cannot speak his name.

"It's time," said the voice.

The Resurrection Stone glowed milky white on her chest.

She saw Tom turn and look at her incredulously.

The dead summoned by the Resurrection Stone belong neither to life nor to death.

Nora was still wandering like a ghost, without sense of touch, taste or smell. But strangers were able to see her presence.

"Here you are," said Tom.

"It's me," Nora said. "I'm sorry."

"What are you apologizing for? For something you've done, or for something you'll do?"

"Maybe both," said Nora.

"This is my revenge," said Tom cruelly, "for your unrepentant abandonment, your arrogance, and your stubbornness."

She didn't mean to leave him alone.thought Nora. But she couldn't justify it, because she would send him back sooner or later if she found a way.

"There is no good part in Voldemort's heart, and he can't be filled with good parts. His soul has been twisted from the beginning." He said softly, "Did you ever see Albus Dumbledore die at my hands. He It took a whole ten years to make me understand what kindness is, do you think you can do it?"

"I've got to try."

"Have you heard the story of the three brothers and the god of death?" Tom suddenly said, "The holder of the resurrection stone went to the kingdom of death with the dead he summoned. I have been waiting for you to appear in front of me. At first I I thought that if you really showed up, I would definitely be able to keep you. I have learned a lot over the years, and I am no longer as powerless as before. Then I thought, maybe it would be good to let you take me away."

"I'm sorry, Tom, but I won't stay or go with you," said Nora.

"Don't tell me, after seeing all this with your own eyes, do you still have that impossible expectation in my heart?"

Six worlds, she failed in the entire six worlds.Voldemort is still the same Voldemort, and the number of sacrifices has not decreased at all.At first she thought she had seen hope, but later she found that hope was just a dream. Can destroying seven Horcruxes really stop everything from happening?

No one knows.

"Now it's time for me to try one last time," said Nora. She stepped forward and put her arms around him.

The two of them hugged each other tightly and were very close.

They had never been this close to each other in Norah's memory.

In her hand Nora held a small pistol she had just taken off the table. The muzzle of the gun was on Tom's heart, and they were so close that they could clearly hear the beating sound of the heart.

Tom's hand wrapped around Nora's gun-holding hand.

"I've been waiting for this day," he said, "and your choice is exactly what I expected it to be."

"……I'm very sorry……"

"Kill me, since this is your choice." He said softly and cruelly, "Don't be afraid."

Nora's hands were shaking violently. She looked into Tom's dark eyes, and slowly, slowly, pulled the trigger.

"boom!"

The only spell hit Tom's heart.

"Rose...Videtur." Nora heard him whisper in her ear.

A rose appeared in her palm.Nora watched it silently.

The world fell apart in an instant.Roses wither and wither in the palm of my hand until there is nothing left.Nora supported Tom's limp body, but couldn't stop him from weathering piece by piece, and finally turned into a blank.

Everything is back to square one.She thought of the night when she learned of her parents' death, she scraped through the ruins, with a little hope in her heart, as long as one of them didn't find their bodies, they would always be alive.

She first found fragments of the bouquet of dried flowers on her mother's bedside, and then she found a hand with a ring on it.The hand was cold and gray. She held that hand and suddenly didn't dare to dig any further. She never knew that people could be so sad, her heart hurt like it was being held tightly, and she could hardly beat.

She had been accompanied by Tom Riddle then, but now she was literally alone.

Maybe she should hug her head and cry for a while, but her eyes were so dry and painful that she couldn't squeeze a single tear.

Save the tears for last.

Nora returned to her body.It was as if she hadn't been hit by the Killing Curse but just fell asleep for a while.

But those don't matter anymore.

There was no one in the room, and the thick curtains were drawn to block out the daylight. There was a diary next to the bed with a snake tooth on it, and a heavy bag of Galleons next to it.

Nora opened the diary, dry rose petals fell from the pages, and she saw the familiar immature handwriting on the title page:

Merry Christmas.

Courtesy of Nora Gray.

A line of words emerged from the yellowed paper: "Kill me, and save me."

Nora wanted to laugh a little.Tom is still the same 16-year-old Tom, arrogant, hypocritical and awkward. He finally gave her his trust, but first showed his cruelty and evil.He handed over his life to her with his own hands, but first he wanted to make her die once in a roundabout way.He said "save me" to her, but he didn't want to see her one last time.

Some things have changed, maybe Dumbledore's love education has finally had a subtle effect.

Or maybe her efforts paid off.

Anyway, she had to go.It would be best not to say goodbye, she had already said goodbye so many times, and she was somewhat tired of that scene.

Nora picked up the beautifully crafted money bag embroidered with a little snake, not only sympathized with Malfoy.Tom Riddle is cold by nature, and sometimes unexpectedly considerate. She tucked it snugly into her robe.

The resurrection stone ring hung around her neck, her wand was in her sleeve, and the revolver-hand-gun that accompanied her through all kinds of hardships and hardships was out of bullets. It had fulfilled its historical mission, but Nora still carried it with her. On, as for the others, it doesn't matter if there is or isn't.

Although the donkey skin bag that Hagrid gave was really useful.

Nora picked up the snake's fang and penetrated the cover of the diary.

Space warps, time travels backwards.

This is the final blessing of the God of Time.

The following is an excerpt from Riddle's diary:

May 1941, 1 sunny

Why on earth should I accept this thing?Really used to write a diary?

Rain on October 1941, 2

After searching through the Hogwarts student roster for nearly 30 years, the surname Riddle was not found.

Maybe he never went to Hogwarts at all? This possibility cannot be ruled out.

Why did Nora have to complain to me when she failed to become a Quidditch player? Can't you go to the idiots of Gryffindor?Or does she just want to come and hear me tell her she's a terrible flyer?

I don't care how well she flies. After all, why would anyone be obsessed with flying around on a broomstick?

The Slytherin Chamber of Secrets is mentioned again in the book.

I have a hunch that there is more than just a monster locked inside.

Malfoy, Black, Lestrange, none of these people could provide any useful clues.

I knew they were unreliable.

Nora messed up Potions class again. That is the only crucible I have.

May 1940, 6 sunny

That stupid Dippet rejected my summer stay application again.

The old bee also became more and more chattery.I know he is wary of me.

Damn, he happened to be the one who sent me the admission letter a few years ago.

Nora had already begun to pack her things cheerfully, and I didn't know what to be happy about.

However, it's good to go back, maybe I can find something about my life experience from Mrs. Cole's mind.

There are no pure-blood wizarding families with the surname Riddle in all of Europe.

Not even a wizard named Riddle.

I had to think differently and start with my middle name.

Marvolo, it is said to be my grandfather's name.I checked her memory carefully and there is nothing wrong.

But was the woman who bore me really a witch? This is ridiculous.

Even if she was, she must be a Squib.

A witch can't even protect her own children. In other words, she didn't even think about protecting her.

She clearly didn't want to live.

The author has something to say: This chapter is a bit short, and I can only barely maintain my life by relying on the diary to make up the number of words.
