Son of the Morning Star

Chapter 57 Disillusionment

The morning air is mixed with the sweet smell of sunshine, and a ray of light shines through the not too thick curtains.

Lucifer's golden eyelashes trembled imperceptibly, and there was a faint unconscious dazed look in his ultramarine eyes, with the blankness of just waking up.

His unfocused gaze fell on a hexagram decorative pattern on the curtain, and he gradually gathered a clear consciousness.

Later, he reluctantly discovered the added seal on his body: as long as he takes a step away from heaven, he will be forcibly sent back to heaven immediately.

The corners of Lucifer's mouth twitched.

It is simply a disguised form of imprisonment!

After trying to break the seal in vain, Lucifer had no choice but to wander around the Nine Heavens aimlessly, thinking about how to meet Samael and the others by the way.

"Lucy?"

"Yeah." He followed the voice and looked over, and the Lord was watching him carefully.

"The stars are blooming, let's go and see together." Jehovah stretched out his hand to him.

"...Okay." Lucifer hesitated for a moment, but still held his hand.

A huge magic circle unfolded around them.

Large expanses of blue star flowers connected to the sky appeared in front of his eyes. Lucifer just found a shade under a big tree and sat down, looking at the star flowers that seemed within reach.

His eyes were far away, as if he had penetrated the stars and flowers, looking at the doomed ending.

Jehovah watched him with a smile, bent down and picked off a star flower, walked up to Lucifer, pinned it on his chest, and watched with satisfaction that Lucifer's eyes gradually changed from ultramarine blue to that of stars. The petals are replaced by similar dark blue.

"Welcome back, Lucy."

Jehovah stretched out his arms to hug him, Lucifer didn't struggle or move.

So the smile on the corner of Jehovah's mouth inevitably enlarged.

"Do you know? Star Flower has another name."

"Forget-me-not." Lucifer moved his lips, but he still didn't move, the expression on his face remained indifferent.

"Yeah... when I finished naming all the flowers, one little flower that wasn't named said, 'Oh my God, please don't forget me (Forget-me-not)!'"

"So you gladly tell it: 'That's your name.'"

"Well. I never forgot a single flower."

"No," Lucifer shook his head slowly, he turned his head to look at Jehovah, his dark blue eyes were as deep as a small black hole, and he couldn't see a trace of emotion, "There is a very beautiful flower that you don't know until now. Forgot about it myself."

"How is it possible! Could it be..."

"Remember the first flower you created? You threw it away because of its flaws."

"It really is it... But, it hasn't been..."

"At that time, I used another method to preserve its flower seeds." Lucifer showed a beautiful smile, but the smile didn't reach his eyes, "Do you want to know how I preserved it?"

"Lu Xi, you..."

"Do you still remember that I went to hell once? Oh, no, you never pay attention to these things." Lucifer whispered the original truth softly in his ear, as if it was the whisper of a demon, "Then, I stand By the Kisun River in Hell..."

He cut open his left wrist, and the bright red blood fell drop by drop into the moist ground, and red flowers grew out.

"This is... a Datura flower!" Jehovah watched in amazement as the coquettish flower bloomed in front of him, and then withered because he couldn't bear the extreme pure light.

This is not an illusion, but a flower that actually grows from the blood.

"Why, your blood..." Yahweh stared blankly at the ground where datura flowers had just grown.

"No, it's not my blood." Lucifer smiled cruelly and ironically, like a Persian cat finally found its prey in the dark night, "It's my soul."

"I... saved these mandala seeds at the cost of my soul... You didn't give it a name, so... I have to give it a name."

There is such a legend among the demons in hell: Datura was once a flower in heaven, but later fell to hell for unknown reasons.

"Do you know why the first flower you created was white, but the datura was red?"

"Because...they grew out of my blood..."

"Do you know why those datura flowers bloom so brightly?"

"Because...they don't have a 'heart', they completely wiped out their own feelings..."

"By the way, do you know why I can easily seize control of this body?" Lucifer smiled and pointed to his core, "Me too, I have no feelings."

"So... my soul strength has increased a lot, and I will never feel pain."

Yahweh froze in place, unable to think for a while.

It was as if an invisible sword had been pierced into his chest, but he couldn't refuse, nor did he have the courage to refuse.

"Why...you have no feelings" he could only ask dryly.

"Let's think about it..." Lucifer rubbed his chin with his right hand, "I probably had feelings at the beginning, but then...it seems that they disappeared by themselves!"

He was still smiling, as if he was describing something that had nothing to do with him.

Yahweh suddenly felt a sense of powerlessness that was almost at a loss, he leaned his head on Lucifer's shoulder, his hands hung down powerlessly, but touched a piece of wetness.

He turned his head in doubt, and saw that the mandala that should have disappeared was still in full bloom.

Pods of blood flowed slowly from the wrist.

"What's going on!" Yahweh was taken aback, grabbed his wrist, and released a healing magic.

Seeing the wound gradually healed, Jehovah breathed a sigh of relief.

"Ah...sorry, I forgot I haven't healed the wound yet."

"Can you stop being so indifferent! This is your body!"

"Oh, it's ridiculous." Lucifer sneered, "First of all, this is not 'my' body; secondly, what qualifications do you have to say that you are mine?"

"I..." Yahweh was about to speak, but found that he couldn't find a reason to refute him. After hesitating for a long time, he found a reason that was not a reason at all, "I am your creator."

"Well, yes, you are indeed my creator. But, you just created me."

Jehovah embarrassingly changed the subject: "When did your wound...begin to heal itself?"

"This is natural! Because the power carried in my blood is too great, so that the blood cannot coagulate. Michael and the others all know it."

"Why don't I know..."

"Because...you don't understand me at all..." Lucifer pushed him away and stood up, "don't you? You only know me based on groundless guesses, but you think you know me self-righteously. "

"...I will never let you leave me again."

"Really? Together forever or something..." Lucifer seemed to have heard something ridiculous, "It's only afairytale. (This is just a fairy tale.)"

There were swaying bells in the distance, and there were faint sounds of devout prayers.

"I'm the Alpha, I'm the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

Ignoring Yahweh's shocked expression, Lucifer left with a sneer.

"This should have ended long ago."

The author has something to say:

small theater:

Lucifer: "Because the power carried in my blood is so great that the blood cannot coagulate."

Jehovah: "Don't argue, it's hemophilia."

Lucifer: "..."

Jehovah: "This is a sickness, and it is cured."

Lucifer: "..."

Yahweh, pawn.
