[HP] Complex Touch
Chapter 4 1 gift named Crookshanks
When it was time for lunch, Ginny was not hungry. She hugged the book to her chest and walked out of the classroom slowly, thinking about what she should do before the next class started.Although her Hufflepuff classmates were friendly to her, Ginny didn't want to be with them.Ginny lowered her head and walked through the crowded corridor.
She wished she knew the password to the Gryffindor common room.Ginny had lived in Gryffindor Tower for six years, and now, when she needed it most, she couldn't.Ginny bit her lip and continued walking down the corridor. She deftly dodges a group of first-years heading toward the Great Hall.
Where can she go?The weather is quite sunny, and she can stay by the lake for a while. After deciding that outside was her destination, Ginny was about to turn down another hallway when someone bumped into her.Her book fell to the floor, and she looked up angrily, watching the man continue to run down the corridor. What a fool! The man didn't even stop to help her pick up the book!
The corridor was empty, and Ginny knelt down to pick up her book. She stood up, tossed her hair to the side, and stopped. She was standing in front of the library, which looked almost the same as the future, and Ginny walked towards it hesitantly.
After all, she was here for a book.Maybe she could help Dumbledore together and find the book in the library.Ginny took the doorknob and opened the huge library door. There were no students in the library, and the librarian looked up in surprise when he heard the door open.Ginny gave her a polite smile and started walking across the bookshelves. When Ginny was sure she was far enough away from the door and the librarian, she put the book on the table in the library.
McGonagall had said that the book had no name and nothing special about it.Ginny looked around at the bookshelves.Personally, Ginny is not a bookworm, and all the books she finds seem to be nothing special.Of course, she could just look at the spine. She ran her fingers along the spine of the book and found that her fingertips were quite dusty.
Ginny grabbed the first book on the top shelf. The book cover is black leather from which the gold lettering has been stripped.Isn't it the librarian's job to make sure this doesn't happen?Ginny shrugged and walked to the table. She opened the book and found out that it was about spells.
Ginny turned to the first page and began to read. Will the book she's looking for tell about dangerous spells right away?Maybe it's in the Restricted Section.Ginny glanced across the restricted section, then back to the book in front of her.She has read all the books in the library before she can find out whether that book is in the restricted section.
This library is huge, Ginny thought drearily.
For the next half hour, Ginny continued to read, taking books from the shelves, putting back the ones she had already read, and sitting at the table. She reads the first ten pages to see if there is anything interesting, and moves on to the next book.Perhaps there is some spell that can reveal the true contents of the book.
Ginny looked up from a thick book she was reading. Then, she felt that someone was watching her.She froze, turned, and screamed softly when she saw the librarian standing right behind her.
"What are you doing?" Ginny called.
"Make sure you don't destroy any books!" snapped the librarian, and walked away.
The bell rang suddenly, indicating that the students were about to start class.Lunch is over?Ginny hurriedly put the book back on the shelf. After putting all the books back in their place, she grabbed hers and ran out of the library. She and Marlene were going to have two ancient spell lessons together, and she hoped to meet her in the hallway.
Ginny had had trouble finding a classroom during the first class of the day, and she was sure she would have the same trouble with Ancient Charms. The librarian screamed at Ginny not to run as she rushed out of the library.Fortunately, as Ginny wished, she found Marlene. Marlene was walking alone. When she saw Ginny, her face brightened immediately, and then collapsed.
"We're worried about you!" Marlene said to Ginny. "We thought you couldn't find your way to the Great Hall."
Ginny gave her an apologetic smile.
"I wasn't very hungry, so I decided to explore. I went to the library and did some reading."
Marlene nodded understandingly, and then turned to her favorite topic.
"Did you see any boy?"
Facing this unexpected question, Ginny opened her mouth silently. She shook her head, and Marlene laughed.
"After all, there are a lot here." Marlene continued.
"What? No, haven't found any—" Ginny paused. "I wasn't really looking for it."
"Girls are always looking," Marlene said simply. "I can give you some advice. The boys' personalities are tied to their houses."
Ginny frowned. She didn't really want to hear about the boys and their college, but Marlene didn't notice.
"If you want to date anyone from this school, watch out for Slytherins," Marlene warned.
Snape's face suddenly appeared in Ginny's mind, and she turned pale.Marlene could always look into Ginny's face when she showed her true feelings, and she sighed.
"Yes, some of them have good looks," said Marlene, as if that pained her. "But they're all scary. If you want to date a Slytherin, you need to be a Slytherin."
Ginny nodded absently in response.
"Let's see... Ravenclaw can make a good boyfriend. My current boyfriend is there, and his name is Marcos. He is very focused on his studies, but, after all, he is a Ravenclaw. "
They arrived at the classroom and walked in together. There were more people in this class than any of Ginny's other classes, and the two of them found a table and sat together.Ginny put her textbook down and stretched her arms.Marlene continued her conversation.
"The only Gryffindors worth grabbing are...well, actually, a couple," said Marlene. "The Prewett twins are handsome, but they're so inseparable — not like that, but they care so much about each other that if you date one, you're dating the other."
Ginny turned to Marlene nervously.
"The Prewett twins?" Ginny asked softly. "Are they...here?"
Marlene nodded, nonchalantly wrapping a strand of hair around her finger. But she stared at Ginny's face.
"You know them?" Marlene asked.
"Something," Ginny whispered.We are relatives.
really. If the Prewett twins were the pair Ginny had in mind (and they must be), then they were related—they were her uncle, her mother's twin brother. They died together during Voldemort's first rise, killing many Death Eaters. She had heard of their heroics and had always wished they were alive so she could meet them.
"Ah, red hair," said Marlene, as if that explained everything, when in fact it explained nothing.
The professor of this class walks into the classroom.Marlene stopped talking to Ginny with a look of concentration on her face, which gave Ginny some time to herself. She bit her lip, thinking about these new ideas. She was very curious to think of meeting her uncles.
