big master, big liar

Chapter 16 The Truth

There is a mountain in the southeast of Changning City. King Luo Yan sent people up to look for it, and he saw traces of human fire on the mountain.

The officers and soldiers searched all the way along the traces until they found a ruined temple on the top of the mountain. They saw that the plaque was dilapidated, and they could vaguely see the words "Kuquan Temple" written on it.

Hearing this, Naluo Yanwang suddenly remembered what Song Xuan said yesterday.

"Look in the ancient wood, look in the white water", when the words are combined, it happens to be the word "dry spring".

It's so evil, did the fortune teller really hit the mark?

Luo Yanwang ran up the mountain full of doubts, and as soon as he entered the door, he was startled by the scene in front of him.

Even though King Luo Yan had a lot of lives in his hands, he rarely saw such a cruel scene.

There was a corpse in the center of the temple, vaguely in the shape of a young man, and it must have been gone for a while.

Surrounded by several wild dogs, the corpse was gnawing on the flesh one bite at a time. It had already changed beyond recognition and turned into a mass of human-shaped flesh and blood.

The surrounding officers and soldiers all turned their heads away, unable to bear to watch.

Luo Yanwang endured the discomfort of his stomach and intestines, and ordered people to go up to drive away the wild dogs, and ordered Wu Zuo to go forward for an autopsy.

The attendant next to him handed over a pack of jade pendants and said in a low voice, "My lord, this is what was found on the corpse."

King Luo Yan looked carefully, and saw a jade pendant with a cloud pattern inside, and it was still stained with blood.

Jade is a good jade, crystal clear all over, exquisitely carved, with blue jade tassels hanging on it, and there is no special imprint on it, but it surprised Luo Yanwang.

He wiped off the blood on Yu's body, hid it in his sleeve, and said in a loud voice: "The thief is dead, search around and see if there are any traces left!"

Although everyone was puzzled, they didn't want to be in the same room with this miserable corpse, and hurriedly followed the traces to find it.

Luo Yanwang squeezed the jade tightly, and told his left and right: "Go and invite me Song Xuan again."

Before the attendant could react, he was kicked out by Luo Yanwang's heartfelt foot: "I tell you to go to me quickly!"

Poor that entourage, rushed to the city at full speed, finally inquired about Song Xuan's residence, knocked on the door and smashed the lock, and picked up Song Xuan who had already fallen asleep.

Song Xuan was still the same Song Xuan, with old sackcloth clothes and dust whisk, looking at Luo Yanwang's cloudy face and the bloody corpse on the ground, he didn't seem to panic at all: "My lord, we meet again."

Luo Yanwang pointed to the corpse on the ground, and asked in a cold voice, "Do you know who that is on the ground, sir?"

"Isn't that the person your lord is looking for?" Song Xuan pretended to be confused with understanding.

King Luo Yan stared into his eyes: "What I'm looking for is a bandit on the mountain. Is this man a bandit?"

"I can only use God's will to sense what adults want in their hearts, and find what adults most want to find." Song Xuan said unhurriedly. "As for who the lord is looking for, I don't know at all."

"I don't know any of them!" King Luo Yan sneered, "I was looking for a person, but you gave me a corpse. Song Xuan, how can there be such a coincidence in this world?"

Song Xuan's expression was even more innocent: "The hexagrams are like this, how can I deceive the lord? This life should be like this, can I change my life against the sky?"

"Don't let the adults want to rely on my hexagrams?"

Luo Yanwang seemed to want to see through his mind, but in the end he sneered, pulled out his sword with a sound of "Zheng--", and slapped it on the table.

The sword reflected a cold light, which made one's heart palpitate in this gloomy temple.

"You don't have to worry about the hexagrams." King Luo Yan said slowly, "I'm looking for two people, and now I'm missing one. If the other is found, I will pay you ten times the hexagrams."

When he said this, he paused, stretched out two fingers, and caressed the edge of the sword.

"It's just... if it's another person, it's right in front of my eyes." A cold smile floated on Luo Yanwang's cheek. "Then this play is wonderful."

Song Xuan's face remained unchanged: "Your Excellency, it's not a bandit? It is absolutely impossible for a certain to collude with a bandit."

"You know what I mean." Losing his patience, King Luo Yan picked up the sword and pointed it at Song Xuan's throat.

"My lord!" Suddenly, an officer and soldier barged in from outside, breaking the simmering atmosphere in the room, and couldn't help shrinking his head, "My lord, my lord..."

Luo Yanwang's sword has not been put down yet: "Say."

"Outside... the bandits' accomplices were found."

King Naluo Yan was taken aback, and said, "Where is it?"

"At the foot of Xiaoping Mountain, it's less than an hour's walk from here."

Xiaoping Mountain is the old lair of the bandits, and it is still close to this barren mountain.

The officer continued to report: "The man has been dead for a few days and is already rotten. His throat should have been sealed with a knife. Looking at his height and attire, he looks like the one on our arrest warrant, and there is indeed a clump of gladiolus on his sleeve."

The arrest warrant was signed by Luo Yanwang himself, and it contained clues obtained from the torture of those bandits.

A man in his early twenties, with a fair face and beardless, wearing a linen Confucian shirt with a clump of gladiolus embroidered on the sleeve.

That's what Song Xuan was wearing when he went up the mountain.

In front of Song Xuan, Naluo Yanwang asked who he was asking: "When did you change into that clothes?"

The officer said: "The clothes have been rotten with the corpse, probably worn when he died."

"Just now there was news from Wu Zuo that the thief in the temple died of a heart attack."

King Luo Yan was silent for a moment, then slowly lowered his sword: "I'll go and see for myself."

The attendant bowed in response.

Song Xuan asked slowly behind him: "My lord believes me now?"

Luo Yanwang's raised foot fell down, and he couldn't help but sneered: "Believe you? Do you think I'm one of those wine bags and rice bags? Are you trying to fool me because of your ability to play tricks?"

Song Xuan said, "Which one of the things I said below is false?"

Luo Yanwang stared into his eyes with boundless coldness: "Everything is fake."

"So what?" Song Xuan laughed: "Does your lord need the truth?"

Luo Yanwang does not need the truth.

No official would really want to kill a prince with his own hands.

Even in the name of exterminating bandits.

King Luo Yan is not a fool, if he really listened to the people behind the scenes, then the biggest handle on him would be held by others.

Murdering the prince is tantamount to a serious crime of rebellion. He will either be a knife and be used thoroughly in his life, or he will die cleanly.

Song Xuan read his memory and speculated about his situation.

Therefore, King Luo Yan needed two dead people, so he gave him two corpses.

"My lord, the two people you are looking for turned against each other at the foot of the mountain. One wiped the other's neck with a knife and fled to the mountain. The old disease relapsed and died in the temple." Song Xuan told another story that he had woven. . "This is the truth."

Like all scams, Song Xuan just created a truth that King Luo Yan wanted.

It doesn't matter whether it's true or not, what matters is that the person who is being deceived needs it.

Even if Luo Yanwang knew it was fake.

He still needs it.

Luo Yanwang stared at him for a while: "Who are you?"

"Song Banxian."

Luo Yanwang let out a "bah".

Song Xuan laughed: "My lord, the mountains are high and the waters are long, see you in the future."
