"Okay, first tell me why you went to Hogwarts with Malfoy."

Harry sat across from Lilith, and under Gadvin Robards' gaze, he took up the posture of interrogating the suspect.

"Date." Lilith said the word slowly, Harry and Neville both looked like I heard something.

"A date? Are you sure? Miss Winter. If your testimony is found to be a lie, you will go to the Wizengamot." Robards looked particularly unreasonable.

Lilith nodded resolutely, "Yes, we have been with Neville since we arrived at Hogwarts, and Neville can prove it."

If she said she was being coerced by Malfoy, the Auror would be more suspicious of Malfoy's purpose in going to Hogwarts.Lilith chose to believe in Draco, believing that he took her to Hogwarts on a whim, not premeditated.

"I've been with Lilith the whole time. We went to Professor Flitwick's office and then to the greenhouse. I can attest to Lilith that she never acted alone."

Only Lilith, Neville never mentioned Malfoy.

"Although it's a bit different from what Malfoy said, I think Winter is innocent." Harry looked up at Gadwin.

"May I ask what's the difference?"

Harry folded his hands on the table, half convinced now that Lilith was dating Malfoy, that she was worried about him, worried about that bastard.

"He said it was none of your business, he forced you to go to Hogwarts with him."

It was Gadwin who was interrogating Draco. He had been disgusted with the arrogance of Malfoy's pure-blood family for a long time. If it wasn't for the law, he even wanted to use Veritaserum directly.

"Can I see him?" Draco wanted to push her away, and Lilith wanted to ask him if he really knew something.

Caldwin and Harry looked at each other. They had brought Malfoy over yesterday, but apart from explaining Lilith's innocence, he didn't say a word about the Hogwarts incident.

Perhaps having Lilith see him would give them more information, Caldwin and Harry thought at the same time.

"Come with me, I'll take you to see him." Harry stood up, and whispered to Lilith while Gadwin was not paying attention, "He is the number one suspect, and if Malfoy doesn't speak again, he will be arrested." Caldwin accuses, persuade him."

Without saying a word, Lilith followed Harry around the Ministry of Magic before reaching a small room.

Draco sat on the chair with his eyes closed, and he didn't rest on the table even though there was no one else here.

The shirt on his body was a little wrinkled because he hadn't changed it all night, and there was a circle of blue stubble around his lips. This image must be the most embarrassed Malfoy Lilith has ever seen.

"They didn't even give you a bed?" Lilith looked around the small room, which was not as big as the bathroom in Malfoy Manor.

Draco opened his sleepy eyes, exhausted from the night's sleep.

"Are you okay? They didn't make things difficult for you, did they?"

"No, but what are you hiding, Malfoy. You really put that thing in the Hufflepuff lounge?" Lilith closed the door behind her.

Draco gave a short laugh at her movement, "Shutting the door won't help, they must have cast a Listening Charm. I can definitely get out of here. There's no evidence they can't keep me locked up for too long."

Lilith was now sure that Draco must know something about this incident, but he chose to remain silent.

"You're underestimating the Aurors, they'll find out, whatever it is you're trying to cover up."

Since the Dark Lord was wiped out, there has been an endless stream of traumatic incidents in the wizarding world for a while. The Dark Lord's fanatics were still active, but they never dared touch Hogwarts.

It is heavily guarded, and it is very difficult to get in, let alone hurt the students. You, the professors, are all vegetarians.

"Pray they don't catch evidence, Draco." Lilith didn't want to visit him in Azkaban next time.

Draco twitched the corner of his mouth indifferently, "You called the right name this time, don't worry, I won't be stupid to do those things at this time, it's definitely not me."

Stubborn, Lilith was still complaining about Draco when she walked out of the small room, but why did he shield the prisoner.

When he was still stuck in it and couldn't extricate himself, confessing the prisoner to save himself was what Malfoy should do.

"We have a new discovery. That thing is determined to belong to Malfoy's family, and he will be charged. Because of your relationship with Malfoy, I still remind you." Harry said as he sent Lilith away.

It seemed that now she was labeled as Malfoy, Lilith thought of Draco who was still full of confidence.

Malfoy's house must have dark magic items. I don't know if those small collections in Draco's mouth will be found out by the Ministry of Magic. If they find out, Draco's situation will be even worse.

Lilith felt that she should go home directly, wash and sleep, or help Ginny prepare things, and leave these crap things alone.

But she knew she couldn't do it, the little bastard Malfoy should not end up in Azkaban, and the real prisoner hadn't been caught yet, and Hogwarts wasn't safe yet.

She stood on the side of the road and raised her wand, and with a deafening bang, a three-storey, dark red bus appeared in front of Lilith.

Its windshield reads "Knight Bus" in large gold letters.Lilith got on the bus, took out eleven Sickles from her pocket and handed it to the conductor.

"Okay, where do you want to go?" The conductor of the Knight Bus is a young Stan Sampak. He has a pair of big protruding ears, and his smile is particularly sincere when he collects money.

"Hogwarts, thank you." Lilith walked back through the armchair where the conductor was sitting. There were no other chairs in the car, but six copper-framed beds on each floor.

Lilith found an empty bed and sat down. There were quilts and pillowcases in the small space. The interior of the car was lit by candles on racks on the wall, and a small wooden staircase at the back of the car led to the upper floors.

The Knight Bus was a bit jarring to drive, rumbling forward at incredible speeds and slamming into the pavement all the time.

But it won't hit anything, and the rows of lampposts, letterboxes, and trash cans on the street all jump out of the way as the car approaches, and then jump back to their original positions when it passes by.

With each bang, the bus would hop forward a hundred or two miles, so fast that Muggles would not notice its sound or look.

Lilith let out a breath as the car swayed, and the conductor walked slowly to the back, and put a hot water bottle and a toothbrush in front of the man opposite Lilith.

"Want hot cocoa? One silver Sickle." He turned to Lilith and said, "Hogwarts is still a while away, why don't you have a cup?"

He was obviously a qualified salesman, Lilith was a little moved, she touched a silver Sickle from her pocket and handed it to the conductor, "Don't be too sweet, thank you."

Stan Sampak took the money, and soon he came over with a cup of hot cocoa. In the violently shaking car, the cocoa in the quilt didn't spill out at all.

"Thanks, and if I do fall asleep, wake me up when I get to Hogwarts. Thank you very much."

After drinking the hot cocoa, Lilith felt her whole body warmed up. With the shaking of the car, she leaned against the bedpost and closed her eyes.

"Hogwarts is here, lady over there, you should get off." Lilith fell asleep so fast that Stan Sampark hadn't had time to ask her name.

Lilith woke up suddenly from the dream, she looked around in a daze, not knowing where she was.

"Get off the bus quickly when you wake up, we still have to go to the next stop." The conductor began to urge her.

Lilith rubbed her eyes and walked towards the car door, almost kicking over the water bottle in the aisle.

"Be careful." The man on the bed next door said gruffly.

"Sorry, I didn't see it." Lilith apologized hastily, and continued to run towards the car door.

After getting out of the car and being blown by the cool wind, Lilith became a little sober. She came to Hogwarts to investigate the wounding incident.

Aurors preconceived that Malfoy was the murderer, and may have missed some details.

Hogwarts station was still some distance away from the castle, Lilith walked quickly towards the castle.

This time, no one opened the door for her, Lilith had to knock on the door obediently.

Filch opened the door for her, and he came out with only half of his body exposed. He looked at Lilith sharply, "What's the matter at Hogwarts?"

"I'm here to find Principal McGonagall, please inform her that Lilith Winter is coming to Hogwarts." Lilith smiled at Filch with a very cute smile.

"Wait." Filch closed the door.

Lilith was left alone outside the door. She looked down at her boots boredly, wondering what happened to Draco who stayed in the Ministry of Magic. The Aurors would definitely start another interrogation if they found the evidence.

After a while, Filch opened the door and made room for Lilith to walk in, "Come in, the principal told you to go directly to the medical wing."

"Thank you."

Even though it has been more than three years since she left Hogwarts, Lilith still remembers every way here.

She made it all the way to the hospital wing, where Madam Pomfrey was examining a lying boy.

Headmaster McGonagall stood by the hospital bed, looking at the boy worriedly.

"Professor, is he the injured child? Has his condition improved?" Lilith asked anxiously before she could catch her breath.

McGonagall glanced at her and nodded, "Yes, Billy Walker. In the third year of Hufflepuff, he picked up a pen in the common room and was injured by the black magic attached to it. Winter , he needs to rest for a long time. I think you are here for him too, what else do you want to know?"
