Unsurprisingly, the next few hours were fun for her too.She greeted the guests and spent most of the time chatting with Neville, Luna, Ron, Harry, Hermione and Pansy. After the final battle, Pansy spent more and more time with them, and she was now a close friend of Ginny's.Outspoken and pessimistic as she was, Pansy was one of the few people who kept in touch with Severus and understood Ginny's strange friendship with him.

This brings the two girls closer together.

Molly and Arthur exaggeratedly pushed out a big cake for Ginny, and she suddenly felt as if it was her birthday again.Blushing, she cut the cake, and Mollie gave everyone a share at once.It was almost sunset when Remus and Tonks came to find her, Teddy sleeping in Tonks' arms.

"I'll be over tomorrow," Remus said, kissing her on the cheek. "Have a good rest tonight."

Tonks smiled.

"Thanks for having us, Molly," said Tonks, nearly tripping while holding Molly.

Molly fussed over the sleeping baby before Tonks turned to Ginny.

"Good night, Ginny," Tonks murmured, hugging her.

After they left, Ginny suddenly felt very tired. She made an excuse to walk into the Burrow.Unlike the outside, the Burrow was quiet, cool, and deserted.Arms folded, Ginny walked into the living room. She leaned against the wall for a while, feeling the exhaustion deep in her bones, and then sat down on an old sofa.

She closed her eyes and listened to the party outside.Someone was laughing loudly, and the music and talking and laughing were a little indistinct.

"tired?"

Ginny froze, then opened her eyes, and looked behind her, where Sirius was standing in the living room doorway. She smiled and he walked in.

"I got up early in the morning," she said.

"Quidditch training?"

Ginny raised her eyebrows.

"Harry told me you joined the Holyhead Harpies as a backup Chaser?"

Ginny nodded, and Sirius sat down in the chair opposite her.She tried not to make an expression.

"Yes, we have practice this morning," Ginny told him. "Regular training starts in July. I have a month of free time."

Sirius nodded.

"You'll enjoy playing professional Quidditch," Sirius said. "I think you're going to play really well. You're going to be a regular Chaser in no time."

She smiled gratefully.

"How are you?" Ginny asked.

He looked at her with gray eyes, then looked away, shrugging his shoulders.

"I'm fine. I'm so glad to be here today," Sirius said. "It was great to see everyone safe and well and having a good time."

Ginny hummed approvingly, and put her legs on the sofa.

"Reminds me of the past." Sirius murmured, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath.

Ginny looked at Sirius who was completely relaxed, and found that he had a striking resemblance to him as a teenager.Sirius was almost unrecognizable after he left Azkaban. He is decadent and dirty, without the will and confidence to live.He was now the boy Ginny knew again. He exudes self-confidence, which makes him even more handsome.

"It's weird." Sirius opened his eyes and said slowly. "You're still so young."

Ginny raised her eyebrows. She didn't expect Sirius to say that.

"what are you saying?"

"I mean," Sirius leaned closer to her and licked his lips, trying to organize what he had to say. "We haven't talked yet."

"We... haven't talked yet?" Ginny repeated slowly.

Sirius nodded.Someone laughed outside the living room window, breaking the silence.

"Not much chat."

He took a deep breath.

"I mean, after I got back from the veil." He rubbed the back of his neck. "I didn't have much time when I got back. The final battle started, and then we repaired Hogwarts, and then you left."

"Sirius," Ginny said quietly, trying to understand him. "what are you saying?"

"You went back in time," he said. "We never talked about it. I mean, it's the foundation of our relationship. That's how I met you. I know you because you went back in time. Shouldn't we talk?"

Surprised, Ginny leaned back on the sofa, wondering what Sirius wanted from her.Indeed, they never talked about her time travel. But what is there to say?Especially since they're not together at all.

She opened her mouth to answer, but stopped again.

"I want us to be friends."

Ginny looked at Sirius, the words echoing in her mind. She barely heard him, and Ginny was upset by the change of subject.

"Friend?" she repeated.

He nodded.

"This is silly." Sirius was even more excited. "We can't stop being friends and talking and just ignoring each other because of our past. Teddy is our godson and he's going to grow up wondering why his godparents never show up at the same time. And Harry... Harry means a lot to both of us. Shouldn't we be friends?"

be friends? The idea is ridiculous.But... and inexplicably attractive.

"We know each other well." Sirius continued softly.

This is a fact.Ginny could see through the man as easily as if he were an open book. But they now keep their distance.Ginny still has feelings for him, but it's a bad idea to be friends with him, isn't it?

"Imagine what James would think," Ginny said softly. "Seeing that we don't talk to each other anymore..."

Sirius frowned.

"Lily might kill us," Sirius told her.

"James will kill us." Ginny laughed. "Merlin, he will be furious."

Her laugh seemed contagious, and Sirius laughed too.

"Friend." Ginny said the word tentatively. "we can be friends."

His eyes lit up, Ginny noticed, and her stomach tightened.

"Then let's chat," Sirius said after they finished laughing. "Let's talk about your time travel."

Ginny blushed at the thought of talking about their past, and retreated into the sofa.Sirius also seemed a little embarrassed, biting his lip and looking at her.

"Isn't that a touchy subject for a friendship?" Ginny joked, twirling a lock of hair with her fingers.

Sirius nodded.

"It's better to avoid such inappropriate things now, right?"

Ginny almost wanted to question Sirius' logic.Wouldn't it be better to talk about everything that happened between them, their happy times...?And when they started falling in love, when Sirius proposed to her... Ginny panted slightly and shook her head.

Sirius said nothing. He was waiting for her to agree on the topic of their chat. She wants to say no.But even if she refused, Sirius would probably force her to talk.Because when it comes to Ginny, he's not going to back down unless she's really bothering her. Then they would fight and it would be back to square one.Is it worth her rejection?

"I didn't want to be friends with you at first," murmured Ginny. "I've told you. I don't want to meet you. When I met you, I was pretty sure that maybe we weren't meant to be friends."

"The notorious werewolf incident." Sirius agreed with a smile. "We were being rude to you, weren't we?"

"When did you stop being rude to me?"

Sirius raised his eyebrows and smiled like a wolf. This scene made Ginny feel hot all over, and she really wanted to look away, because seeing Sirius smile like this reminded her of so many things.

"Let's talk about something really embarrassing, huh?"

Sirius moved closer to her.

"Have you ever loved me?"

Quiet.

"How can you ask that?" Ginny couldn't help exclaiming, jumping up from her seat. "How could you... I did those things for you - you stupid bastard -"

"Hey! Hey!" Sirius stood up hurriedly, trying to grab Ginny's arm and stop her from rushing out of the room. "Ginny! It's just a question—"

She wanted to punch him in the face.Destroy his handsome face that has haunted her in her dreams for several months.

"It's too silly for us to be friends," said Ginny angrily. "You don't even know, you're so unresponsive—"

"I loved you too!" Sirius roared, finally pulling her to look at him.

His words were like a spell, making all her anger melt away. She just stared at him blankly.

"I just want...I just want us to speak up. We loved each other. When you go back in time, we loved each other."

Ginny's heart was beating fast, and the blood rushed to her face, making her cheeks burn. But she is not angry anymore.Because what he said was the truth.

"Yes, I loved you," she murmured.

He let go of her arm and nodded to the sofa.Ginny pursed her lips, ran a finger through her messy curls, and sat down again.Sirius sat next to her this time, their thighs touching.

"Okay." Sirius snapped his knuckles. "What about... you and Snape? What's the matter with you?"

"What are you talking about?" she asked, raising her eyebrows. "I don't know, we're friends. We can accept each other."

He didn't speak.

"But we're friends now, Sirius," Ginny warned. "Severus and I are good friends. He's not a traitor. He almost died protecting Harry."

"I know." Sirius looked at her with piercing gray eyes. "I know, Ginny."

Sirius stretched, kicking his long legs almost to the old coffee table in front of him.

"I thought you were a secret spy or something." Sirius said with a smile. "Or you come from an ancient pure-blood family with magical ties to someone like Helga Hufflepuff."

Ginny giggled.

"You were an enigma then," he told her. "It's always dangerous to play with you. You shy away from me, and I have to find excuses for you."

"But do you understand now?"

"After more than 20 years ... I finally accept that you were trying to do the right thing and you were not selfish."

"That's what you thought then? Am I selfish?" Ginny wasn't angry, just curious.

Sirius was obviously telling the truth. He had accepted her reasons for trying so hard not to love him and to avoid him all those years ago.

"Yes, you haven't written to me since you left. I thought you ignored my letter. I thought you did it on purpose. You made me love you on purpose. "

He licked his lips.

"Even after you rescued me from the veil, I kept thinking of stupid reasons not to let you know I remembered you. I kept saying you were selfish, ignorant, too young to believe that you had put everything in place face. Then I’ll wake up one morning and I know you’re trying to do something right and I should help.”

Sirius stopped, his handsome face turned to her.

"It must be difficult."

Ginny asked him confused, what was so difficult.

"Knowing everything that's going to happen, who's going to die...and trying to live a normal life at Hogwarts. I can't imagine."

"I cry almost every day," Ginny said, frowning. "I hate being there."

Sirius nodded expressionlessly.

Ginny said frankly, "Until I got to know you. You... you're really wonderful, Sirius. I love you so much. It was hard, but you, Remus, James and Lily... you're all me." good friend."

Indeed.Sirius and Ginny could really be friends. They were in love once, and they both know it doesn't have to be their horrible past. They don't love each other right now.Ginny repeated this several times in her head.

But they had been friends, though for them friendship and love intersected many times. They can be friends. She could be with Harry, be friends with Sirius, and everything would be fine. The two walked into the kitchen and brought Ginny and Sirius back to reality.

Ginny looked back, surprised to see Harry and Pansy laughing into the living room.Harry raised his eyebrows in surprise when he saw Sirius and Ginny, and stopped. She blushed and felt guilty, as if someone had found out she had done something terrible.

"Fred and George just pushed Ron into the pond," said Harry, laughing. "It's great, he looks like he's going to kill."

"Stupid Weasley," said Pansy softly, eyes twinkling.

Ginny forced a smile, got up and walked over to Harry. He took her hand and brushed his lips against her ear.

"Are you ok?"

She nodded.Pansy gave Sirius a wary look, then sat down in Ginny's seat.

"Let's go out," Ginny suggested, dragging Harry toward the kitchen.

He smiled approvingly, glanced at his godfather, and left with her.Ginny didn't want to look back at Sirius, feeling that if she did, she might not be able to leave with Harry. The relationship between Sirius and her has eased somewhat. They are friends. This is great progress.
