[HP Doujin] take care of you

Chapter 34 Going and Returning

Muggle London is definitely an interesting place.None of them would be recognized, which reassured Harry, but Ginny thought it would make them noisier. After visiting two bars, the group decides to head to one with loud music and a crowded dance floor.

Ginny didn't know how long they'd be in the bar before someone would be kicked out.Dean and Seamus danced up and down the dance floor as if under a spell.Harry and Ron were sitting at the bar, their heads together, discussing something in low voices.Every 5 minutes there was someone shouting in anger or joy.Pansy leaned against the wall, her eyes sparkling, listening to Hannah Albert, Neville and George.Angelina and Fred challenged those around them to down their beers in one gulp.

Everyone is drunk.

"what are you doing?"

Ginny turned, blinking to get a better look.Blaise Zabini stood in front of her, looked at her disheveled look, and gave a smirk.

"Calm down," Ginny replied.

"Not dancing?" Blaise asked.

Ginny shook her head.

"I lost the drinking contest to Fred and Angelina," Ginny told him, shaking her head slowly. "twice."

Blaise laughed harder as he leaned toward her.He smelled of mint and clean clothes.Ginny narrowed her eyes. She thought it was because his clothes were of the best brands.Even if Blaise and Pansy were hanging out with Gryffindors now, they'd still flaunt their wealth.

"Continued Cup?"

Blaise nodded to Ginny's empty glass, and she looked up at him, smiling. It took the Slytherin a while to change his mind when Pansy forced him to join the group. He hadn't been as bad as Malfoy when they were both at Hogwarts, but he had a penchant for mean things and annoyed the boys on purpose. He has changed a lot.

"of course."

Blaise nodded again and walked towards the crowded bar.Ginny bit her lip, then looked towards the dance floor. She wanted to find Dean and Seamus among the crowd. The light hurt her eyes, and after a minute of searching, Ginny gave up.Ginny turned to hear Fred cheer loudly, and someone took her hand, startling her.

"Come on, Kim, it's dance time!"

Seamus tumbled her onto the dance floor, dragging her.

"But my cup—"

Seamus didn't let her finish, picked up her empty glass and put it on a seat.Seamus made her spin around, and Ginny giggled.Dean suddenly came to them, dancing strange dance steps with Hannah.Hannah blushed and raised her hands in the air.

The music was different from anything Ginny had heard before, but Muggle music always was.Ginny would never know how to dance to it, so she had to imitate Hannah and jump up, throwing her arms up and doing a circle. She closed her eyes and continued to spin, laughing when Seamus and Dean laughed over the music. But there were more and more people, and it was impossible to continue spinning, Ginny had to stop, swaying to the music, and made a face at Neville who was walking.

"Fucking good!" Neville yelled, bouncing around.

Just then, amidst the hustle and bustle of stopping spinning, the huddled bodies and the smell of sweat in the air, Ginny saw him.She gasped, put her hands to her chest, and looked around Dean to make sure it was him.

"Sirius," she said softly.

Ginny pushed her way through the crowd.Sirius was heading towards the back of the bar, and Ginny knew there was an exit there... maybe the toilets, but she was going to follow him anyway. She tried to keep her balance when someone bumped into her, keeping her eyes on Sirius.Sirius, Sirius, Sirius.

She hadn't seen Sirius since February. They don't write very often, but they always experience a letter-writing drought now and again. He had apparently left Florence, but Ginny had no idea where he had moved. He's in London now, in a pub near her apartment.Ginny walks past Fred and Angelina, who are making out in front of a group of drinking contest losers.

Sirius turned his head slightly, as if knowing she was behind him, she quickened her pace. His hair was longer than before, so she couldn't see his eyes, and all Ginny wanted to see now were his gray eyes.Ginny smiled, surprised to see that her hands were shaking as she reached out to grab his shoulders.

"Sirius," she called softly.

Merlin, she didn't realize how much she missed him until now.

"what?"

Ginny felt herself blushing. The man in front of her was not Sirius, although he looked a lot like Sirius, she even doubted for a moment whether they were related by blood. But it was impossible, the man in front of him had big brown eyes and a rounder nose. They were the same height and the same hair color, which was why Ginny mistook him for Sirius when she was drinking too much.

"Excuse me? Can't hear clearly, it's too noisy in here!"

The man had been talking to her, and Ginny blinked. She should say something. She must say something.

But disappointment hit her like a brick wall. There is no exit behind the bar, only toilets. He wasn't Sirius either.Ginny took a step back, then turned away. She pushed her way through the crowd, past Fred and Angelina. Her eyes searched for the exit, and finally found it.Harry and Ron, still sitting at the bar, didn't see her rush past them and leave the bar.

The warm air didn't make Ginny feel any better. She gasped, trying to calm her breathing. Her eyes were hot and her hands were still shaking, but now for a different reason. That's not Sirius.

"It's okay." She murmured to herself, covering her chest with her hands again. "I'm fine."

But her own words made her take it no longer.Ginny covered her eyes with her other hand, as if that would stop the tears.Ginny leaned against the brick wall of the bar and slid to the floor. The bar was full of drunk people, hardly anyone noticed the drunk girl was crying.

Her body was shaking with suppressed sobs.

She is still having a hard time.Whenever Ginny felt that it was finally okay, that she was finally okay, something happened. He would write to her and say he missed her.She would hear Teddy mention him.Harry would bring up a certain joke Sirius had told him.

And Merlin, she misses him so much.Even after months of not seeing each other, even knowing they would cause each other pain, she still missed him.She misses everything about him.Does it make things worse that everyone around her seems to be in pairs?Maybe. After all, Ron and Hermione were expecting their first child. Not that Ginny wanted a baby anytime soon, but because it was a big development, an important commitment that Ron and Hermione had decided to take on together...

Who else would Ginny want to do this with but Sirius?

When the tears stopped, Ginny was able to catch her breath, and she wiped her face with the back of her hand. She can't go in now, she knows her face is red and her eyes are swollen. She wouldn't go in if the Sirius lookalike was still in there.

"Weasley?"

Ginny looked up, surprised to see Blaise leaning out from the bar, squinting to see if she was sitting on the sidewalk.Ginny continued to watch him, and Blaise decided to leave the bar.He pursed his lips and walked slowly towards her.

"Are you crying?"

Ginny sniffed and wiped her face again.

"No."

"Usually the one who cries when drunk is Hannah," Blaise told her. "But she's going to have sex with one of your brothers."

Ginny bit her lip and sighed.

"stand up."

"what?"

Blaise remained where he was, hands in pockets, eyebrows raised.

"You're sitting here like a fool, get up. I got you a drink and waited for you at the bar for 10 minutes. If I go back alone, I'm a fool."

Ginny didn't move, and Blaise looked around, then crouched down beside her.

"I'm not kidding. It makes me sick to see you cry. You're not the type to cry. Let's keep playing."

Blaise stood up, was silent for another moment, then held out his hand to Ginny. She grabbed it immediately and let him pull her up.
