Chapter 152
Nothing bad to say.If Harry can't be honest with his heart, he's up against a new batsman who's doing relatively well and who's after Ginny.
She shrugged, "You are an expert, you should trust your own vision."
That night, Ginny assured Harry that he had no reason to regret his choice.Dean cooperated very well with Ginny and Demirza.Hitters Perks and Guter are also getting better. The only one in trouble was Ron.
Gwen has always known that Ron's state is unstable. He has stage fright and lacks self-confidence. Unfortunately, the upcoming first game of this season seems to have induced all these psychological problems in his past.Ginny said he missed six balls in a row, most of them from her, and then his technique became more and more incoherent.
"I'm so nervous," Ginny said angrily, "Ron, an idiot, actually punched Demelza Robbins in the mouth when he was flying towards him."
"It sounds painful," Gwen gritted her teeth, "but you can't call your brother an idiot..."
"Hmph, the captain is too busy to call him an idiot, I think someone should—" Ginny snorted coldly, "Look, Gwen. If Ron doesn't change his bad habit of being nervous, This year's trophy will go to Slytherin."
"I'm more curious, are you going to accept Dean's pursuit?" Gwen felt that Ginny's anger was too strange.
"Come on, Gwen, I don't want another fight tonight." The red-haired witch was like an angry lion.
"What's Ron's opinion?"
"My dear brother," said Ginny furiously, flinging her long red hair off her face, "that he won't allow me to cuddle in public!"
"You've already—" Gwen asked in shock as he got up, "hugging?"
"Don't be silly, I tripped over the carpet, and Dean just helped me up." Ginny blushed, "Although it took a while."
Gwen fell back on her own fluffy pillow again, "So how did you fight back? Female warrior."
"I told him that because he had never been hugged by anyone in his life, and because he had only been kissed by our Aunt Muriel since he was a child—" Ginny said slowly.
Gwen whimpered exaggeratedly, "It's pretty vicious."
"He's also very harsh in his speech." Ginny insisted, "He actually accused his own sister of being..."
"I'm [-]% sure that you, Ron, and George and Fred are definitely biological brothers and sisters." Gwen didn't think it was serious, "Maybe under your stimulation, Ron will start tomorrow." Date Hermione."
Ginny scoffs at Gwen's naivety, "I'm more likely to date Dean."
"As your friend, I have no objection." Gwen said noncommittally, "I mean, Dean is a nice guy, he is also a gentleman, and the posters he drew are amazing."
Ginny looked at Gwen in surprise, "Tell me, why did you choose George as your boyfriend?"
Gwen was a little surprised why she asked: "Because he's handsome, and we're on good terms, and he's a master of mischief."
Ginny's expression said she was speechless at the answer, "What about Fred? They're almost exactly the same—"
"Are you crazy? They're two completely different things." Gwen fussed, as if it was a big deal to take Fred into consideration. "George isn't as detached, he's milder."
"I can't believe you're using 'less out-of-the-way' to describe my brother." Ginny was baffled. "And I don't have the idea of falling in love with Dean for the time being. He always wants to help me when I drill the portrait hole, as if I can't climb in by myself."
"Then you'd better refuse him outright, or Harry will be too intimidated to confess to you," Gwen said sharply.
"He won't, Gwen." Ginny looked up at the ceiling. "He doesn't like me at all."
No wonder, Gwen thought.Harry couldn't take his eyes off Ginny at all this term.
The next morning, breakfast was as lively as usual. The Slytherins booed and booed loudly as every member of the Gryffindor team entered the Great Hall.Gwen glanced at the ceiling and saw a clear, tile-blue sky: a good sign.
The Gryffindor table was bright red and golden, and the students cheered enthusiastically when Harry and Ron walked over.Harry smiled and waved, Ron forced a grimace and shook his head.
"Cheer up, Ron!" Lavender yelled, "I know you're going to be great!"
Ron ignored her.
"Tea?" Harry asked Ron. "Coffee? Pumpkin juice?"
"Whatever," said Ron morosely, taking a bite of the bread gloomily.
Hermione arrived a few minutes later, and for some reason she and Ron had an awkward relationship and didn't join them downstairs for breakfast. She stopped when she was almost at the table.
"How are you two feeling?" she asked tentatively, looking at the back of Ron's head.
"Not bad," said Harry, who was busy handing Ron a glass of pumpkin juice. "Here, Ron, drink it."
Ron had just lifted the glass to his mouth when Hermione snapped.
"Don't drink, Ron!"
Both Harry and Ron looked up at her, and Gwen was also attracted by the shouting.
"Why?" said Ron.
Hermione stared at Harry blankly, as if she couldn't believe her eyes.
"You put something in that drink just now."
"What did you say?" Harry said.
"You heard me. I saw it. You poured something into Ron's drink. You're still holding the bottle!"
"I don't understand what you're saying," said Harry, stuffing a small bottle into his pocket hastily.
"What's that?" Gwen saw sharply, "A small golden bottle?"
Apparently, Harry, Ron and Hermione all knew what potion was inside.
"Ron, I warn you, don't drink!" Hermione said again in panic, but Ron picked up the glass, drank it all in one gulp, and said, "Stop judging me, Hermione."
Hermione looked shocked and angry. She bent down and lowered her voice so that no one else could hear, "You're going to be fired for this. I can't believe you're doing something like this, Harry!"
"Who's talking?" said Harry in a low voice. "Who's been confounding someone recently?"
Hermione walked across the table in a huff.Harry watched her back, feeling no remorse in his heart.Hermione never understood how important Quidditch was.Harry turned to look at Ron, who was smacking his lips.
"It's almost time," Harry said lightly.
They strode toward the stadium, the frosty grass crunching underfoot.
Gwen found Hermione who had left early. Although she condemned Harry and Ron, she was still worried and came to the Gryffindor auditorium early, sitting alone with a straight face.
Gwen took out the binoculars and chatted with Hermione: "The weather is so good, it's lucky, isn't it?
Hermione agreed, and continued to look towards the field with a straight face.
To Gwen's surprise, the winking blond boy wasn't on the Slytherin team.
"Did I miss any news? Malfoy quit the team?"
Hermione also picked up her own binoculars and looked over, frowning. "It's so strange, Malfoy should be the person who loves Quidditch the most besides Harry."
Gwen's heart sank, which was good news for the Gryffindor team, but not necessarily good news for the rest of the school.
Because Malfoy might be hiding somewhere doing bad things.
As soon as the whistle sounded, the players from both sides kicked hard on the frozen ground and rose into the air.A voice completely different from the previous commentator sounded.
"Well, now they're off. I think everybody's going to be surprised to see the team Porter has put together this term. A lot of people thought Ron Weasley, the goalkeeper, had his ups and downs last term, Probably won't be with the team anymore, but he has a close personal relationship with the captain which certainly helps him..."
"That's a poor commentary," Gwen said quickly, noticing that Hermione thought as much as she did.
But the remark earned both jeers and applause from the Slytherins at the other end of the pitch.Gwen craned her neck to look at the narrator's desk.A tall, thin boy with blond hair and a snub nose was standing there, talking endlessly into the magic microphone that once belonged to Lee Jordan.Gwen recognized it as Zacharias Smith.
"Why can both Cedric and him appear in an academy?" Gwen said with emotion.
"I can't see his face clearly." An ethereal voice came from Luna who was sitting with them, "The Harass Gadfly surrounded his head."
According to Gwen's understanding, the harassing horsefly in Luna's mouth can be equated with the bad mood in the wizard's heart, so she fully agrees with this description-for the annoying person who can only mutter and complain about others.
"Oh, the first time the Slytherins were on goal, it was Urquhart flying across the pitch - Weasley made the save, yeah, I guess he gets lucky every once in a while..."
"This idiot," Hermione looked excited, "he's already saved three balls!" Then she thought of something, and closed her mouth again with a pale face.
Now Gwen was more interested in the potion Harry had given Ron.But she's not stupid enough
She shrugged, "You are an expert, you should trust your own vision."
