Rushed to the outside of the vault.

Barely aware of the searing pain of the burns all over his body, Harry pocketed the little gold cup and reached for the sword as he rushed out following the constantly replicating treasure.

"We've got to destroy it now! Don't run, Griphook—" shouted Harry, as the goblin had apparently slipped off his back, waving his sword and shouting, "Thief! Thief! Help! There are thieves!"

Regardless of the pain in their bodies, Hermione and Ron planned to stop Griphook who was escaping with his sword. But there are countless goblins rushing forward.

"Dizzy—" Behind a corner of the wall, streaks of red light quickly stunned several goblins surrounding them, "Iron Armor Protection!" Then a huge iron armor was set up in front of Griphook, vividly Separate it from the goblin army.

"Hurry up, boy." A magic eye popped out from behind the wall, "You actually went to Gringotts—the bottom vault to rob?"

"Very brave. At least they still remember to set up an iron armor behind the anti-thief waterfall." In the other direction, Cedric stopped a few wizards rushing over, but he smiled wryly, and probably couldn't figure out these grids. The purpose of the little wizard of Ryffindor.

"Vulnerable," Mad-Eye said cursingly. "They're not ready yet."

"Mad-Eye! Cedric!" cried Hermione happily, pushing Ron forward.

With his long arms, the red-haired boy picked up Griphook who had passed out from hitting the armor, grabbed the Gryffindor sword and threw it at Harry.

The Horcrux was on the ground in front of him, and Harry's face was full of pain, his sword held high, his arms shaking.A natural resistance appeared in his mind, and he didn't understand - he was determined to destroy Voldemort's Horcrux all along, but he couldn't do it at the critical moment facing the Gold Cup.That beautiful cup was like Riddle's notebook, full of temptations and constant torture.

"Stick, Harry!" Ron thought he saw a tinge of red in Harry's eyes.

"Harry—?" Ron put his hands on his shoulders worriedly, and Hermione had to be distracted from dealing with the goblins at Gringotts.

With a flash of sword light, the sword stabbed out suddenly, and Ron jumped out of the way. There was a metallic sound, followed by a long scream.Harry stood there very weak, no one had any idea what he had just been through. He drew his sword feebly and looked down at the fragments of the golden cup lying on the ground.

He bent down and picked up the broken Horcrux.Wisps of smoke came out of the golden cup.The thing that lived in the Horcrux disappeared.

The sword fell from Harry's hand with a clang, and the hot gold coins that were constantly being duplicated were already pouring at their feet. The three staggered on the hot metal and struggled to their feet, knowing that the only way out was to rush through.

"You guys, go!" Mad-Eye was dealing with two wizard guards and an old goblin alone, turning his magic eyes to Harry and the others behind him.

"This way!" Cedric used a powerful slump to clear the mountain of burning gold, opening a path for the three of them.

"Swoon!" Harry yelled, casting a spell on the few goblins who stood in their way.Ron and Hermione yelled too.Strips of red light flew into the crowd of goblins, some fell over, but the rest kept going, and Harry saw several more wizard guards running around the corner.

A few long fingers grabbed his trousers fiercely. It was Griphook who had fainted just now, and was staring at him with terrifying eyes. "This is the goblin's sword! You dishonest..."

Harry didn't notice for a moment, the sword was clamped by its claw-like fingers, and it immediately fell out of his hand.As soon as he turned around, he was grabbed by Ron and Hermione and ran forward.

"We have to get out now." Hermione's voice was sharp with anxiety. "The Death Eaters will be here soon."

Just in front of them, the tethered dragon roared, and a flame flew over the goblin's head, and the wizards bent back.Harry suddenly had an inspiration, or a crazy idea.He raised his wand and shouted at the heavy shackles of the giant beast: "Let the force loose!"

With a few loud bangs, the shackles were broken.

"This way!" Harry yelled, running towards the blinding dragon while continuing to cast Stunning Spells at the approaching goblins.

"Harry - Harry - what are you doing?" Hermione called.

"Come up, come up, come on—"

The dragon didn't realize it was free.Harry climbed onto the dragon's back by stepping on the crook of its hind legs. The scales were as hard as steel, and the dragon didn't seem to feel him.Harry held out an arm, and Hermione yanked it up, and Ron climbed up to sit behind them.A second later, the dragon realized that the chain had broken.

While Mad-Eye and Cedric were still helping them delay their pursuit, Harry reached down to take them away with him.

"On a dragon? Fly out?" Moody cried. "I tell you, boy, I swore I'd never fly in the sky again after I got hurt."

"Run!" Cedric and Moody suddenly ran in the other direction, "Leave us alone."

With a roar, the dragon stood up, spread its wings, and rose into the air.Now they have no choice but to bring two people with them.Harry clamped his knees, clutching desperately at the jagged dragon scales, and the screaming goblins were knocked aside like bowling pins. The dragon rushed towards the exit of the passage, Harry, Ron and Hermione lay on the dragon's back, and their bodies touched the top of the passage. The chasing elves threw daggers at the dragon one after another, and the daggers brushed against its body.

"We can't get out at all, it's too big!" screamed Hermione, but the dragon opened its mouth wide and spewed flames, blasting the tunnel open and the roof splintering and collapsing. The giant dragon grabbed and planed with brute force, and rushed out all the way.Harry squeezed his eyes shut against the dust and heat, the crackling of stones and the roar of dragons were deafening. He could only hold onto the dragon's back tightly, fearing that he would be thrown off at any time.Just then he heard Hermione helping the dragon widen the passage, digging open the roof of the cave, letting it rush up into the fresh air, away from the screaming and tinkling goblins.Harry and Ron followed her example, blasting the roof of the cave with more digging spells. They passed the underground lake, and the slow-moving dragon roared, as if feeling the freedom and the space ahead, while the corridor behind them was surrounded by the dragon's sweeping spiked tail, piles of stones and broken pieces. Cracked huge stalactites are full. The clinking of the goblins seemed to die down, and ahead, the dragon's fire cleared the way for them—

At last, by the might of the dragon and the spell, they blasted the passage into the marble hall, where goblins and wizards ran screaming and hiding. Finally finding room to spread its wings, the dragon turned its horned head toward the doorway, smelling the cool air outside. It stepped out, forcing its way through the metal door, Harry, Ron and Hermione still clutching its back. The deformed door wobbled on its hinges, and the dragon staggered into Diagon Alley, then soared into the air.

There was no way to steer the dragon, he couldn't see where he was going, and Harry knew they wouldn't be able to hold on to its broad back if it turned over in mid-air or made a sharp turn. However, as they rose higher and higher, and London spread out like a gray and green map below, Harry's heart was filled with gratitude for having survived a desperate situation. He leaned over the dragon's neck, clutching the metal scales tightly, the cool breeze soothing his blistered skin, and the dragon's wings beating the air like windmill blades.Behind him, Ron cursed loudly, whether in delight or fear, and Hermione seemed to be sobbing.

After about five minutes, Harry wasn't so worried about the dragon throwing them down, it seemed intent on staying out of the dungeon. But the question of how and when to get down remains dire.He didn't know how long the dragon could keep flying, or if the half-blind dragon could find a good place to land.He kept looking around, vaguely feeling the pain of the scar...

How long would it be before Voldemort knew they had broken into the Lestrange vault? How soon would the goblins at Gringotts notify Bellatrix? How soon will they find out what was taken? And then, when they discover that the gold cup is missing?Voldemort would eventually know they were hunting for Horcruxes...

The dragon seemed to crave cooler, cleaner air.It kept rising until it was flying in a fringe of cold, light clouds, and Harry could no longer see the colorful dots of cars coming in and out of the capital. They flew on and on, over patches of green and brown country where the roads and rivers twisted like dull or smooth ribbons.

"What do you think it's looking for?" Ron yelled, as they flew farther and farther north.

"I don't know," Harry called. His hands were numb from the cold, but he held onto the dragon scale tightly and dared not move. He'd been worried for some time, what would they do if they saw the coastline drifting below, if the dragons were heading out to sea?He was cold and numb, not to mention extremely hungry and thirsty. He didn't know when was the last time the giant dragon ate. It must not be long before it needs food, right? What if when the time comes it realizes that there are three rather tasty living people on its back?

The sun slid down some more and the sky turned indigo blue. The dragon was still flying, its huge shadow skimming the ground like a great black cloud, and cities and market towns receded below them.Harry was aching all over from holding on to the dragon's back.
