Chapter 11 Half a Galleon

Potter is plotting again.His intentions were too obvious, and he was a fool if he didn't see it.

Snape crouched in the dormitory, thinking darkly.

But what could he plot?

He has no money, no power, wears cheap old robes, uses second-hand books that others don't want, and has nothing valuable in his body.He has nothing but study well.

There was nothing about him worth trying to plot.What's more, one of them is Gryffindor and the other is Slytherin.

Yes Yes!Unless it's to trick him!

Potter suddenly showed his kindness to him, and even complimented him unconscionably.Potter even encouraged him to pursue Lily, but everyone knew that James liked Lily, how could he help an outsider and twin brother to grab his sweetheart.

That's right, Harry Potter wanted to make him look bad, make him pursue Lily in public, and then... laugh at his self-indulgence, laugh at his delusions...

Snape didn't fall asleep all night, his mind was full of random thoughts.Think of Lily, think of his own terms, think of Harry Potter's tricks.With two thick dark circles under his eyes, he got up early.He washed his face hastily, and he didn't even want to take a look at himself in the mirror, so he went to the hall.

In the morning, the owls flew into the Hogwarts hall in groups as usual, and Snape lowered his head and ate his breakfast with nothing to do with himself.There would be no letters from him, and he didn't bother to read them.

Suddenly, a tiny owl flew into Snape's field of vision.It is small in size and fluffy, like a small ball.The little orb landed in front of Snape, staring at him.

Snape looked to the side, he hesitantly reached out and untied the letters tied to its feet.

This letter was very casual, it was just folded and tied to the owl's feet. The edges of the paper were ragged, like a small piece torn from a notebook temporarily, and the words on it were not very pretty.There was only one sentence written on the note: I will wait for you in the library at seven o'clock tonight, don't tell Lily.

Signed is - H. Potter.

Snape looked at Gryffindor in surprise, but there was no one there, the seats were empty, and they had already gone to the classroom.

"Is there a letter from you?" A Slytherin student looked at Snape curiously, with sarcasm in his tone.

Snape subconsciously clasped the note, making sure it wouldn't be seen by anyone.He glanced at his classmate indifferently, but the other party seemed to have no intention of continuing to provoke, and left timidly.

Snape curled his lips, Potter was right about one thing, he was stronger than his peers.Otherwise, he will only be forced to jump off the building.

He glanced at Potter's note, snorted in disgust, and put it in his pocket.

A downright awkward guy.If it was the future Professor Snape, he would cherish this letter from Harry Potter, and he would definitely attend the appointment and write back, praying that the little owl would bring the message to him.It's a pity that our Mr. Snape doesn't have the ability to foresee the future, otherwise he would be terrified.

~~~~~~~~~
Snape didn't attend the appointment, unless he was crazy, or stupid, he would be stupidly sent to the door to be counted by Harry Potter.
Harry could feel that Snape was avoiding him.But he didn't have time to pay attention to him now, Snape tossed and turned all night, and he couldn't sleep all night.
He suspected that this was probably the happiest birthday Sirius had ever had, and he didn't seem to mind that he didn't get a birthday present from his parents.He said they only spoiled him on good days.
November 11st is not only Sirius' birthday, but also Halloween, Little Singles' Day, and Hogsmeade Weekend!
They tossed all night, because there was no way to make noise in the dormitory, they actually moved to the Room of Requirement in the middle of the night, which kept Harry from sleeping.At four o'clock in the morning, Harry was finally able to rest for a while, but he was dragged up again before he got enough sleep, and they actually planned to go to Hogsmeade to continue making trouble!
Merlin!Harry howled in frustration, he would rather face Snape's face all night than fight with them any longer!
But sometimes the reality is very skinny, Harry tidied up, they were wearing yesterday's clothes, Harry didn't even have a chance to change back to his own casual clothes, and he was still wearing his Christmas Eve dress.He glanced at James and thought it was okay, at least he wasn't the most conspicuous.
The five of them set foot on the small path in Hogsmeade village, James was still walking side by side with Harry, and Sirius, who took the lead as a matter of course, was born with my greatest virtue.Peter took out a robe from nowhere and put it on.It's apricot, a color that doesn't match him at all.
"Where are you going?" Harry asked, looking at Peter.
James looked at him, "Have you forgotten, Peter is going to help."
Sirius shrugged beside him, Remus didn't say anything, he took out a small bottle of refreshing potion from his pocket and handed it to Peter.The little boy seemed a little embarrassed, and took it awkwardly, and cast a grateful look at Remus.
Hogsmeade was very lively, especially today, and Harry found that there was nothing strange about their clothes, and there were many strangers than them.The children played like crazy, stopping and talking all the way, talking and laughing constantly.
They walked to a slightly secluded path and walked into a small restaurant.
James seemed to know the owner of the small restaurant very well. He greeted the small owner Mark and walked in.Harry was a little taken aback, and Peter passed him and walked inside together.
The business of the tavern is not particularly good, because it is not the most lively and prosperous place, so it seems a little deserted.But even though it was "desolate", customers kept coming in, because other places were so lively that there was no place to sit down and have a meal.
Harry followed them into the kitchen of the diner in a daze, and saw Peter washing the dishes.
Standing next to him was a thin and pale man with a slightly bent back, who was talking to Peter in a low voice.Peter kept nodding his head, and with a flick of his wand, he directed the brush to clean the pot.
James directly took the apricot overalls and put them on, throwing one to Harry by the way.
Until several people started to help take care of the business, Harry was still a little confused.
"That's Peter's dad," James whispered to Harry, "haven't you seen it?"
Harry grunted, but said nothing.
Peter's father is busy. He not only needs to be a handyman, but also occasionally a waiter. Wherever there is a need, there is him.
Harry followed Remus and got busy running back and forth. Old Pediru pointed them out and told them some work tips.For example——while he was standing in a beer barrel pouring wine, he secretly served some for Harry and asked him to drink secretly behind his back.
James was clumsy, he couldn't do housework, so he stood at the door of the store holding a sign, shouting slogans to attract customers foolishly.And the tall and handsome Sirius became the best waiter. Harry was worried that he would offend the guests, but he seemed to have a good way of entertaining people, especially the little girls.
He had never imagined that James and Sirius had worked as laborers.Even if Sirius was in extreme despair in the end, he never thought that his Sirius-like godfather could entertain guests with a smile on his face.He is Sirius, passionate, paranoid, and childish.He is a person who can do everything to the extreme. He laughs when he is happy and yells when he is in pain. Even a dementor can't drive him crazy. There is only one belief in his head, as long as there is one Just thinking, can support him for a full twelve years, until he escapes from Azkaban!
Like James, they live recklessly and happily, doing their own way, selfish and willful.
"Halloween specials—!" James' voice reached the store, and he shouted loudly: "Handsome service, no tip—!"
James' weird appearance made the passing girls laugh, and they walked in together, asking for free services from the handsome guy.
The after-effects of playing all night came. They hadn't worked for two hours before they started yawning. Only Peter, who had drunk the refreshing potion, was still full of energy.
Remus could only take out the last bottle of potion, each of them took a few drops, and managed to cheer up for another two or three hours.
Harry had never had a job like this, and although his life was hard, he hadn't had any work other than doing housework at the Dursleys'.A few of them endured hunger through noon, and the boss agreed to let them take turns to eat until 01:30.
Harry and old Pedillo were the first to have lunch.
Old Pedillo greeted Harry for dinner, and to Harry's embarrassment he picked and picked chunks of beef from the stew and poured them into Harry's bowl.He looked at old Pedillo's bent back, which made him look like an old man in his late thirties, which made Harry uncomfortable.
Harry gulped down his lunch, he was starving, but the table was embarrassingly quiet, he had to find something to talk to old Pedillo.
"How long have you been working here?"
"It's been two months," said old Pedirou.
Lunch time passed awkwardly.
James and Sirius were the second round to go to dinner, and Remus was rubbing his belly when Harry walked out.Harry walked towards him, like a gangster joint, and offered him a bar of chocolate.
"Baby, I love you!" Remus looked at Saint Harry's chocolate with tears in his eyes like a refugee.He tore off the wrapping paper, stuffed it into his mouth, and sighed contentedly.
Harry couldn't help laughing, reaching out and hitting his shoulder.
"It's great to have you guys as buddies." Remus leaned against the counter with his arms around Harry, looking up at the dark ceiling at 45 degrees with a bright face.
The skinny little boss Mark drove them away with a ragged rag, "Work, work slackers!"
Harry hurried to the kitchen to see if he could help.Remus also went on to wipe the table.
The sun had finally set, and Harry had never felt a day so short yet so long.Sirius was so tired that he could hardly walk, and on his birthday he had a hard day's work.Harry had thought they were out for a party.
In the evening, they each got half a Galleon, but all the hard-earned money of the whole day went to Peter and Remus.
"It's because I raised money for you." Sirius shrugged indifferently, "Anyway, my parents won't give me any more money, and I only have half a Galleon all over my body."
Because Remus was a werewolf, his parents had always lived a poor life. Now that he was in school, the family could finally relax a bit, but Remus' father fell ill.
Harry took his share of the wages and finally gave it to Peter.Old Pedilou's gray hair has been swaying in Harry's mind, and it is said that his family's family is also very poor.
Suddenly he remembered Snape.
Snape's clothes were always ill-fitting, and his trousers were always cut short, revealing his battered white socks.His textbooks are old, his schoolbag is old, his wand is old, everything is old.
That night, Hedwig the furball flew back, and it brought back a letter from Papa Charles.
"Good girl." Harry stroked Hedwig, who was like a little fur ball, and praised.
He took out a piece of letter paper, laid it flat, picked up a quill pen and wrote a letter:
snape,
Mr. Granger ([-]) Pharmacy Production Co., Ltd. is recruiting interns.This message may be useful to you.
Signature is still H.Potter.
He tied the note to Hedwig's lap and let it out.
