[Criminal Minds] Wooden Legs of Justice
Chapter 2 Little Reception R Treasure
"Hello, I'm Harrington, Leo. Harrington. Thank you BAU for picking up the plane." Leo looked at the slender boy in front of him.
"Welcome, I'm Dr Reid, Spencer. Reid." Reid tried hard not to look stiff, and the German man with a West End accent in front of him looked like a playboy who was taller than Morgan.
"Perhaps, his French can bring people back to the court of Louis XIV." Reid interrupted himself, trying to avoid the piercing eyes of a drunkard.
"Hey, do you know? At the time of the British Revolution in 1848, there was also Harrington, the one who wrote "Oceania". He was the first to propose a link between power and wealth..." Dr. Reid said in Cope, trying to ease the solemnity of the silence along the way—it made him feel awkward.
What a terrible start!
The little doctor remembered what Rossi said about getting along with people, choked up a bit, and closed his mouth. It was decided that it would be better to let the silence continue to spread.
"I should know, I've never been good at getting along with people." This is the experience he has summed up since he was a child-every time he opens his mouth, it always makes people feel tedious, with piles of data.
"If even your father is not willing to listen to you, why would outsiders be willing?" the little doctor said to himself silently.
"Huh? Not bad! I thought that a doctor of biochemistry would not be a humanist. It seems that this is my fault." Leo, who was in the passenger seat with his arms folded, glanced at the BAU next to him with interest: " Maybe we can talk about the source of your humanistic thoughts," Leo smiled, habitually leading the conversation, "you know, after all, you are a Ph.D. in biochemistry, not humanities and social sciences, which surprised me very much."
"Oh? Oh. Well, I mean... most people don't want to hear that - the quotes and the sources. I know." Reid replied sternly, still driving with his eyes straight ahead.
"This person really looks like a pupil in class." Leo thought to himself.
"Oh, he still feels flattered. Maybe no one wants to listen to him talk about these things." Leo commented inwardly.
It has to be said that Leo's sixth sense has always been very good. His keenness has made his painting career and also made him a top independent investigator.
Leo evaluated the little doctor in his heart, and listened sideways to the future companion listing N Harrington's deeds.
"Unfortunately you are a German. If it were in England, Harrington is a big name. It has many dukes and barons and so on. Among the nobles, Harrington is very famous... Maybe you are the same Family, you belong to the Germanic line." Reid sums up Harrington's story.
The boy in front of him looked like a fledgling graduate. It was hard to imagine him working in the FBI.
"Hi, it's been a long time. I'm sorry I didn't pick you up. The beautiful cars in nineteenth-century Europe are not suitable for the blizzard of the New World." Rossi stepped forward, as the only one in BAU who had contact with Leo Harrington , Rossi and Leo came to a warm American hug.
"Oh, it's all right, old man, I like the nice little reception today. And of course his amazingly beautiful little head" Leo patted Reid on the shoulder like a Yankee.
Everyone in the BAU noticed that the tips of Reid's ears were red.He poked his chest out proudly at the surprised Morgan, looking proud of his intentions and his successful relationship with the man.
"This is a good start." Reid cheered himself up in his heart.
"Oh, as a loyal fan of your artwork, can you give me a warm hug?" Garcia floated over like sleepwalking, staring at the man's sculpture-like face, "You are simply Michelangelo's masterpiece, A model of the Renaissance era!"
While hugging, Garcia squeezed the other's thick back with dishonest hands, "I swear, Morgan, you have met your match!"
Leo nodded to Morgan, whose eyebrows were starting to turn into caterpillars. "Hey, man, I like your complexion."
Men always need a little compliment when they first meet.Sure enough, Morgan smiled.
Emily looked at the strong Morgan, then at Leo, who was tall and slender like a print magazine model, with a confused expression, and finally decided to whisper to Garcia.
When JJ and Hotch came in, the information on JJ's hand and the expression on Hotch's face let everyone know that the welcome tea party was over.
