With a cold light, 【Can't I take a little breath? 】

Ron was silent for a while, thinking that it would be better if Hermione sat next to Harry - helping him with his homework or something. So he got up and sat down next to Dean Thomas.

This time it was Slughorn's turn to teach them.Apart from his keenness to treat top students differently, this professor is pretty good in other aspects, especially when the comparison object is Snape. However, Ron still lost his mind when he was explaining the efficacy of the Felicity Elixir. [It would be great if I could become lucky. ] He thought vaguely. Now all he hopes is to do well what Dumbledore entrusted to him, and the relationship with the two people can return to the original position.

☆、Chapter99BeginAgain(2)

Umbridge didn't give them too much trouble in class, perhaps because she was busy judging the Hogwarts professors while Dumbledore was away.Despite this, she fined two students with three days of confinement.

[The order of the Quidditch match is out! 】After they finished class, Fred and George yelled at Harry,【Guess how lucky we are? 】【Slytherin. ] Ron and Harry spoke in unison. In fact, there is no need for notification from the twins, as long as you listen to the louder booing in the lobby than before, Lytherin will understand everything.

[They didn't even select all the players. ] When they went downstairs, Pansy Parkinson was standing on the last step giggling, 【To be honest, Wood is at least like a captain than Porter. 】

Ron reflexively looked ahead at Harry. The dark-haired boy was walking down the stairs with the twins, and Ron couldn't see his expression. He knew that was what Harry was most afraid of hearing right now.Angelina was supposed to be the captain - she was two years older than Harry, but Professor McGonagall gave Harry the position.Gryffindor had never lost in Oliver Wood's time, and Harry certainly didn't want to look "unqualified".

【Look who is here, the new captain of Gryffindor. ] A familiar voice sounded, and the blond Slytherin leaned on the stair railing and smiled. [I heard that you guys are going to select players later?Do you really have a good candidate? 】

[Mind your own business, Malfoy. ] Harry said briefly. Not knowing why, he glanced back at Ron. [It seems that Potter wants Weasley to be the vice-captain. ] Nott next to him raised his eyebrows, and Parkinson laughed even more exaggeratedly.

Ron gave Draco a warning look, and the blond Slytherin Nunu mouthed, nudging him on the shoulder as he passed.Ron knew that the other party was in a very good mood, which cleared up his originally depressed mood because of Harry.

There are many more people on the pasture than imagined. In Hermione's words, most people are just curious about Harry's demeanor as the captain.Ron had the feeling that Harry's patience had run out after the second batch of underclassmen who weren't Gryffindors at all had been turned away.

【Do you need my help? ] Ron walked over to him.

Harry looked up at him, and Ron tried to wrap his arms around his shoulders. 【Yes, okay," Harry's body relaxed, 【We'll choose the goalkeeper first, and then you can come and help Angelina. 】

Angelina is in charge of the Chaser. [I hope I won't be smashed too hard. ] Ron shrugged. There was a smile on Harry's face: [It is you who want to help. 】They looked at each other and smiled, a familiar tacit understanding flowed between them. [Merlin,] Harry whispered, [I've been acting like an asshole these days, haven't I? 】

【You said so yourself. 】

Harry shook his head, his defenses breaking down. [I really don't want to talk about this right now, well, I just ask one question-do you think what you are going to say is the same thing as what I am going to tell you? 】【...I think so. ] Ron replied.

【Huh—Okay,】Harry smiled wryly, 【Wait until I finish the matter at hand, okay?I need time to sort myself out, or I'm afraid I won't be able to hold back and get mad at you. 】

Ron suddenly didn't know what to say, and he gave Harry a hug. [Always by your side. 】He said. He's also only recently gotten himself together, and he knows how hard that is.

The conversation with Harry had affected Ron's state of mind. He's a nervous guy, and that's why he lost a kid's wizard chess game when he was eight. But when George motioned for him to get on the broom, there was nothing in him but the tranquility that things were getting back on track, and the tinge of sadness that came with it.He hangs in front of goal and catches pretty much every ball that Fred and George throw at him, Cormac McLaggen isn't bad, but he gets it done.

[It's not fair,] said the boy one year above him, [Harry Potter put Weasley's two brothers in charge of choosing the goalkeeper. 】Of course, he also knew that Fred and George didn't release the water.Soon, he sat down next to Hermione and asked her if she needed any help.

The rest of the time, Ron helped Angelina choose the Chaser.Angelina asked those who participated in the selection to play in groups, and Ron was responsible for keeping the goal. For Merlin's sake, a lot of guys can't play ball at all, some girls are grinning and dangling in the air on broomsticks--which is better, and the guys can throw a ball over your head.Wondered how grateful Ron was when Angelina signaled to McLaggen to take his place.

[Have you selected a suitable Chaser? ] As soon as he got off the broom, he saw Ginny running towards him panting. Her long fiery red hair was a little messed up by the wind.

[Looking at Angelina's appearance, no. 】Ron looked at her in confusion, 【Who are you looking for? 】

[I'm not looking for anyone. ] Ginny rolled her eyes at him.She threw her schoolbag to the stands, [I want to participate in the selection. ] After finishing speaking, he ran towards Angelina.

This is really surprising, Ron wondered when his little sister fell in love with Quidditch?Last month she seemed to be playing with dolls and keeping a teenage diary. But then he stayed with Ginny's schoolbag and watched an incomparable show. She and Dean Thomas paired up pretty well, and when McLaggen missed for the third time, Angelina looked like she wanted to call the draft over.

[I never knew you could play Quidditch. 】Ron handed the water to Ginny who was coming,【And he played so well! ] Ginny rolled her eyes at him again (he doesn't have much authority in front of this sister, Ron has learned not to care so much), and it seems to be saying: 【There are many things you don't know. 】

Ron thought that Ginny would not stay here, but instead of leaving, she and Ron watched the rest of the race. The selection was drawing to a close, and there were far fewer people in the stands to join in the fun.Ron followed Ginny's gaze and saw Angelina talking to Harry.

[What do you think of Dean Thomas? 】

Ron frowned quickly. 【Why do you ask this? 】Forgive him, it always makes him feel a little weird to discuss his friends with his sister.

[I broke up with Michael. 】

【... You were just together last semester. 】

[You and Harry too. 】

The coincidence in that sentence left Ron speechless. He raised his hand in a gesture of surrender: [Okay, why did you break up?Does this have anything to do with Dean? 】

Ginny shook her head. [It has nothing to do with Dean.I just saw things clearly during my summer break.I mean, Michael is nice, but when I'm with him, I'm actually...]

Across the pasture, Harry looked this way under Angelina's instructions, and Ron gave Ginny a thumbs up behind his back.Ginny's ponytail tied for the competition hung down her back, revealing her fair neck.Ron seemed to have just realized that his sister was very beautiful, and he was a little curious about what she had left, but Ginny put her head down and drank her water.

Ron tried to do Dean justice in his mind.Dean is a nice person, he joined DA on his own initiative, but his grades are not very good, he is more lazy than him in class, and he is prone to suspicion—no, no, let’s give up "fairness" among friends.

【How did you and Dean...】

[At the beginning of school, I told Fred and George that I wanted to find someone to practice Quidditch with me. Dean heard it from the side. Later, he came to me and said that he could practice with me. 】

No wonder Dean seemed busy all this time. [He confessed to me last week. ] said Ginny. 【That also depends on you liking him. ] Ron said sullenly. He began to appreciate what it was like to be a brother.

[I like him, really, I think clearly. ] Ginny said. [It's just... I don't know if you can understand that when you finally get rid of the things you always wanted to get rid of and prepare to enter a new life, you are actually both happy and a little scared? 】

What was Ginny trying to throw away?Doesn't sound like Michael Kona, but someone before Kona... oh, he thinks he gets it.The one Ginny had been watching before Michael Koner.

[Say it first, don't apologize like a smug bastard. ] Ginny said sharply, which made her a little more familiar.Ron shook his head with a smile. He would never do that, although he did feel a strange guilt in his heart.

[He is really outstanding, his name can be heard everywhere in the school. Not to mention he's your brother's best friend and will be staying at your house during the summer - sorry, boyfriend now. ] Ginny gave him a teasing look, 【I think it's a little hard for me to get out.So - yeah, I'm not that into Michael, I'm dating him just to try out someone else...you'll have no concerns and he'll be happier. 】

Ron's heart skipped a beat. [But now you tidy yourself up? ] Ginny glanced at him with a smile. She stretched her waist a lot: 【Merlin, it feels so good to be able to say it.Hermione is a good friend, didn't she tell you about the time I held her and cried bitterly during the summer vacation? 】

Ron didn't know what else to say.The selection was finally over, and the remaining boys helped Angelina put the broom back into the equipment room. Dean smiled shyly as he passed by them.At this moment, Ron suddenly felt a strong sense of happiness, which came from knowing that he was cared for, and at the same time being proud of the group of people around him.He used to think he was the one who was not noticed, but now he wants to care more about the people around him, trying to understand why Sirius would go through fire and water for Harry, Hermione would care about whether the house elves had enough sleep, and Dumbledore How many sacrifices are you going to make for justice. When you expect someone to do something for you, you should first initiate it.

【I am proud of you. ] He knew that was a bit of a no brainer, but Ginny must have understood.Because she packed her things and caught up with Dean.

[We should go too. ] Hermione came to him, 【You look weird, wait—you didn't steal the bottle of Felix that Harry won, did you?Is that why you act so well? 】Hermione looked at him seriously and made Ron laugh. He really hasn't been this happy in a long time.

☆, Chapter 100 Quidditch, the second door (1)

The Quidditch match was coming up, and Professor McGonagall canceled the homework for the team members for two weeks.Harry and Ron worshiped this elegant female professor as a goddess (it's hard to imagine how she resisted Umbridge's questioning, that pink toad always wanted to find a reason to cancel Gryffindor eligibility for the competition). The candidates for the game have been decided: Harry will serve as the captain as the Seeker; En is the new goalkeeper.Katie Bell is only one year older than Ron and the others, but she became the No.3 Chaser in her second year.Unable to participate in this competition due to her weakness, she gave up the opportunity to Ginny who was still doing basic training. For some reason, the whole team felt very at ease with the red-haired Weasley girl. Angelina joked that the Gryffindor team should be renamed the Weasley Guard.

"Wouldn't the redheads be more appropriate?" Three or five shadows covered the lawn where they were standing, and the leader of them put on a woolen cap to keep out the early morning rain. The gray eyes under the brim of the Slytherin hat were half-smiling, looking at Harry and Ron standing together: "It's hard not to be targeted with such a team flying on the grass field, I wish the Snitch was also red...By the way Say, we just wrote a song for the glorious Reds, would you like to hear it?"

Ron didn't know how Draco still had so much patience to play the little bastard in the lower grades now, but this was the only occasion where they could see each other in a fair and honest manner. For Merlin's sake, it's not out of narcissism that he thinks this way. When the other party said to turn the Snitch red, those gray eyes blinked in his direction.Although this was not at all the same level as Slytherin's love talk on the bed, Ron still coughed twice.

"Obviously we're not interested." Harry said nonchalantly, he subconsciously moved closer to Ron, but soon, his body froze. This was not only because of the strange tunes loudly sung by the team members behind Draco, but also because the blond Slytherin casually adjusted his hat brim, and a pair of orange gloves were exposed under the black wizard robe-the standard Charlie Derry Cannons orange, like a Halloween jack-o'-lantern, brightened up Slytherin's otherwise dull attire.

Ron was also stunned, and he heard the brothers behind him gasp. "How do I remember—" Fred only said half a sentence, and swallowed the rest.Ron didn't dare to look back, he knew that his brothers would definitely force him to confess to a bunch of old shit with the look of "I knew there was a big story here".Probably Harry and the members of the Weasley family looked unpredictable, and the Slytherin players sang more vigorously: "—Weasley is our king, never put the ball in the goal, Gryffindor Let's sing together, Weasley is our king—"

"Enough, let's see who will win the game next month." Ron took a step forward, trying to warn the other party not to go too far with his eyes. His words made the Slytherins scream again. "Don't be so unfriendly, Weasley." Draco also took a step forward, his voice lowered a bit this time, "You still haven't said whether you like my song or not?"

Ron almost laughed at him. "Which line should I like? Weasley is king of 'your'?"

This time it was the turn of the "Weasley's Guard" to yell, and Harry's brow relaxed, but he still looked uncomfortable. "Thank you for your 'love', Malfoy." The dark-haired boy said in a deep voice, "Now it's our turn to train, please get out of here as soon as possible."

The culprit shrugged. "I just want you to listen to this song in advance, after all, you will hear it a lot when you are on the field." He took two steps back, surrounded by the two big men of Crabbe and Goyle, and walked away.

"We never let them win when Wood was around, did we?" Ginny said after a moment of silence, tossing her red ponytail. Her original intention was to cheer everyone up, but instead she reminded everyone of the fact that the new team is inexperienced.Wood has been a good line-up player in the past and has always been passionate about the game, and they can't let the academy down the first game without him.

"How about two more hours of practice today?" Harry said.Everyone followed him to the preparation site without any objection. In the cabin, Angelina pulled out Wood and her notebook, and Ron could see that Harry was grateful.Angelina is a year away from graduating, and she should have taken Wood's baton, but she doesn't seem dissatisfied with Harry's appointment, this is Gryffindor, and they fight for the common honor.

"Judging from today's events, Slytherin must have a lot of bad tricks on the day of the match." Fred said while changing his shoes, "Everyone, especially the rookies, must not be affected. We must win this time. , because we can.”

"On the bright side, Malfoy vaccinated us," Arya added. She looked at Ron: "The position of the goalkeeper is very important. When Wood is there, he often gestures to the chaser, because the movement of most players on the field can be seen clearly at the goal—did Angelina teach you how to do it? "

Ron nodded. "But I'm...not sure I can do it well." The task made him a little nervous, and frankly, he didn't think he could do half as well as Wood.He has to be very focused to keep the goal. "He still needs time to practice that, Arya." Harry put a hand on Ron's shoulder. "He's just going to keep the goal in place this time." Ron patted the hand hanging on his shoulder, and both People look at each other and smile.Arya looked a little downcast. "I'll try to do it if I can," Ron told her.

They flipped through Wood's notebooks in the cabin and studied how the game was played.Given Harry's talent for catching snitches, the Slytherin players always go out of their way to trouble him, Fred and George have to use Quaffle to clear the way for him first; Alia made good gestures to find out the route of the opponent's goal.Ginny scored so fast and furiously that Harry was going to risk her as a chasing striker.

The reserve team soon gathered outside the log cabin, and Harry arranged a spot for them. Everyone practiced hard for an afternoon, and Harry didn't let everyone go to dinner until the sunset began to dye the grass field red.The effect of the practice was satisfactory. Although Ron still couldn't pay attention to the hints given to him by the chaser, he intuitively intercepted three balls from Katie Bell. "Sometimes intuition is more important than strategy," Harry said happily, and Ron knew that intuition was Harry's magic weapon. They walked shoulder to shoulder into the Great Hall, and Hermione jumped down from the stands to hand them two glasses of water. She still couldn't put down the book in her hand, "Professor Flitwick wants me to convey to you—" "No, Hermione, not now." They almost lost the strength to say this.

"How are you doing?" Ron said after recovering. The glow of the setting sun shrouded the three of them, and Hermione's hair and Harry's glasses were flowing with gold rims.

"you mean……"

"That dream." Ron tilted his head. "And your dad bullying Snape. Do they still bother you?"

"I still have dreams. But it's better than during the summer vacation. I don't think it will affect next week's game." Harry replied. "As for my dad's matter... I don't know, maybe after a while, I'll ask Sirius." Hermione talked about the DA: "After the game is over, we should hold a second meeting. ' Both Harry and Ron agreed with her.Harry still hadn't told Ron exactly what had happened during that Occlumency training, and both of them seemed to know it well. They were seldom alone during this time, and even when they did, one of them would never approach the other to ask for a goodnight kiss. When Harry put his arms around his shoulders, defending him in front of everyone - Ron knew it was a bit sinful - but he did prefer it - it was just that.

Days passed between Quidditch practice and waiting for Dumbledore to return.Umbridge still hated Professor McGonagall but could do nothing, as if Dumbledore had handed something about her to Professor McGonagall before he left; "Weasley is our king" became a popular song on campus the chances of Quidditch players talking in sleep and grinding their teeth in sleep have greatly increased; Ron has grown a few centimeters, and Angelina helped him resew Wood's trousers.

"So what's going on with you and Harry?" Hermione asked Ron one day at the dinner table where Harry was called away by Arya.Ron choked on orange juice: "How about what?" He wiped the water stains around his mouth with his hand, and Hermione frowned and handed him a handkerchief, "I'll talk to me when he's ready, now we're in the heart It's just games."

Hermione was still frowning. "Lavender said in the dormitory that you have broken up. If she said that, it means that many people think so. In short—" She considered the words for a while, "You won't go back to 'him' again, right? If That’s right, I might as well match you and Lavender back then.”

Ron made an extremely exaggerated grimace at her. "I've got to go to practice," he said. "Say hello to Professor Binns!"

"You can't always bully the good-tempered professor like this!" Hermione's voice was left behind by him.I'm not running away, thought Ron as he descended the steps. It's just that there are too many things for him now that he can't let his closest friends know. The less they knew, the safer they would be, and wasn't that what Dumbledore wanted?

"Hey, Ron!"

Lavender Brown met him head-on at the door. She gestured at him with such joy that Ron realized how often he'd run into her like this lately. He smiled at her, and the blond girl's face was flushed, and she finally said to him: "Come on, race!"

"Oh, thanks, I will." Before he could give her another smile, the girl had run into the auditorium, grabbing her girlfriend's arm. Thanks to that song, many Gryffindors who hadn't seen him play began to doubt his ability.Ron was glad that someone was still willing to cheer him on, and of course he knew the girl's confidence in him was blind. She was pretty, but anyway, kissing such a girl was probably a parallel time and space for him.

"I didn't expect you to be quite popular." An arm wrapped around his neck from behind. There was heat in his ears, and a light kiss landed on the corner of his lips. "Who called me King Weasley?" He said angrily, but the corners of his mouth couldn't help but smile. The other party pushed him to a remote corner with ease. "I miss you." Before Ron could respond, Draco kissed him. "From now on, come out earlier and come here." The other party said with lips and teeth intertwined. His hands came to his hips, pulling him closer to him.Ron groaned softly and put his arms around the other's neck.

This happened for three days.It started when they "chanced" into each other again three days ago on the night watch, and Ron blamed Draco for wearing those gloves. "Why? I like them very much." Gray pupils pretended to be innocent, stroking his face with cool fingers, "You didn't keep your promise first, you promised to tell me about the past, I just want to Mind you."—then they relived their most familiar past in the prefect's bathroom.

They all knew things were getting out of hand.As the two students who kept the biggest secret for Dumbledore, they should be more careful.Yet the joy they had in waiting for Dumbledore was unparalleled.Everything is different.Even if the fate of the gap still exists, after all, the future has the hope of fighting side by side.It was the first time for both of them to be freed from guilt and self-doubt towards their companions and family.Only then did they have the courage to look back and realize how long they had dragged their so-called sin along the way.

Now that we have come here, there is no reason to give up.

Under the night, Ron reached out to smooth Draco's forehead. He knew that Draco was the only Death Eater who was forbidden to learn Occlumency, and that the other party had to become transparent in Voldemort's eyes.To carry a good secret, this once simple and domineering boy must rely on himself.Whenever Ron felt tired, he couldn't help but imagine Draco's situation now.Does the other party have real friends on the other side?Does he have a supportive family? When he is surrounded by love, what the other party has seems to be only thin ice under his feet.

The blond boy kissed his cheek. "Tell me about the past again? I think I'm about to remember."

"We can wait." Ron kissed him too.

"I really need to know, please." He begged softly. "I won't let him find out. I'm doing very well now."

After a long silence, Ron buried his head on his shoulder. "What else do you want to know?"

"Why did we separate?" The teenager sounded like he had asked himself many times in his heart.

"Snape tampered with your training to make you forget about me, of course, at your father's behest. The necklace interfered with your sanity, and during that time you became... very unlike you .I thought you were going to end it, so I went too. I thought...we'd be apart because...we've been terrified and suspected it was wrong."

The other party was silent in his arms for a long time, fingers grabbed the badge embroidery on his coat, and slowly rubbed along the edge.

"It's not wrong."

"I know." Ron smiled at him.

The night before the Quidditch match, Draco received word that Dumbledore was about to return to school.

☆, Chapter 101 Quidditch, the second door (2)

The outcome of Ravenclaw vs. Hufflepuff is obvious. The loss of Cedric's Hufflepuff team didn't make it any better, but that didn't lessen the Badgers' interest in the game.Justin excitedly told Ron that he, Cedric and more than half of the Hufflepuffs were betting on Gryffindor, which made Ron's heart pound.

That's right, the game is coming up, and everyone will be nervous.Especially when your ex is the soul of the entire team, and you still haven't had time to see Arya's hand gestures.Ron even skipped one of Snape's training sessions for it (he sneaked out the back door after Snape yelled at him and walked over the light curtain).Slytherin supporters sang that obnoxious song loudly at him every time he walked through the corridor outside the Great Hall (where the gamblers gathered).Every time Ron heard it, he hated Draco a little more. After all, why did he have to write the song?

"I didn't expect this song to be so popular." The culprit shrugged, as if Ron should believe his nonsense.

"You just don't want us to win," said Ron grimly.

"Do I have it?"

The other party's mind is obviously not on the conversation. He fiddled with Ron's red hair, making them curl even more.Ron patted his hand away to remind: "Night training is almost over."

The boy put his arms around his neck.Ron closed his eyes, buried his head on the other's shoulder, mint leaves and wine diffused in the air.It was by no means the best smelling pheromone in the wizarding world, but it was one he had never gotten used to losing.

"Are you going to practice today?" He subconsciously asked. There is an owner's emotion in the smell, and a partner will be very sensitive to it.

Draco nodded, and Ron knew that the other party would be practicing Occlumency alone next.He held him in his arms, and stroked the scar on his hand with his fingers. The other party has been wearing gloves recently not because he is afraid of the cold.Ron had also found the same mark on Draco's arm before, and now it has healed into a faint red.It was when his aunt taught him the Unforgivable Curse. The woman was willing to teach him because he served Voldemort, not because he was her nephew, so she didn't care if she hurt him.In her view, shed blood for Voldemort is the highest honor.

"are you OK?"

The touch of the hand is cold.He used to make fun of Draco for being like a snake, because his body was much warmer than the other's. "Have they been giving you a hard time lately?" he asked again.

"They're busy planning something," Draco replied. "Forgive me for not being able to tell you, the only person I can tell is Dumbledore, who will decide whether you should know or not. As for me, they didn't plan to involve me in it, so, yes, I've been fine lately, Like you, only the Quidditch game is on my mind."

"So the hand injury will affect your performance?"

"...you have a good idea, weasel."

Ron smiled. "Oh, you didn't win anyway." Draco wanted to retort, but the boy leaned in just right.

So Draco let his red-haired boy kiss, and put his hand on his lower back in response.Ron often had pain in his eyes, sometimes anger, when he talked about his situation "over there".Of course he likes to see how much the other party cares about him, but he still hides many things subconsciously. He probably wouldn't tell him how Aunt Bella's eyes chilled him when she cast a spell on his hand.

"The Dark Lord trusts you very much, and I certainly hope so, Draco, don't you have the blood of the Black family in you?"

Azkaban prematurely deprived the woman of her beauty, making her a different person from the portrait on the wall of Black House. She approached him, picked him up from the floor, and forced him to look into those crazy eyes: "But why did your magic regress? Huh? I told you - the Unforgivable Curse needs to come from the heart! You have to Really wish to inflict pain - and enjoy the feeling! Mere anger won't hurt your enemies for long, it has to be like I did to you... Do you understand?"

Had it not been for the woman's eagerness to use him to win Voldemort's favor, doubts would have taken root.He curled up his left hand and shot a spell at the house-elf who walked through the door with all the venom in his body. The diminutive creature fell to the ground howling, blood bubbling from its arms, and Bella's piercing laughter could be heard. "That's it, good nephew!" At this moment he realized that his life was no different to the elf lying there for the people here.

Perhaps his life was indeed of little value. But at least he has broken the written fate, so that he no longer feels ashamed when facing those pitiful eyes.

"Good game, Weasel." He looked back at the red-haired boy before leaving. "If you're too nervous about that song tomorrow, just remember—all I really want to tell you is the first line."

Weasley isourking.

Weasleyismyking.

If it weren't for you to lead me to see the light, I'm afraid I would have sunk at this time.

On the day of the game, Ron woke up very early. He lay in the warm bed and heard the patter of rain outside the window. "I'll be on the field in two hours." The thought broke into his mind, making his heart pound again. He pushed himself up and found Harry's bunk beside him was empty.

He went to the bathroom, and Harry was there. The black-haired boy turned his head, and there were still drops of water on his face, and the two smiled embarrassedly at each other. "Even you can't sleep," said Harry. "Yeah, I've never woken up so early, I mean without help." Ron walked over to Harry to wash up.As he bent over to wash his face, Harry patted him on the back, "I'll wait for you in the auditorium." With that, he left.

The sound of rain outside the window continued.Ron could see the gray sky through a row of windows high up in the bathroom. He submerged his hands and face in the mild water and sighed in comfort. Before leaving, he glanced at the mirror. The red-haired boy in the mirror was also looking at him, with a white shirt and a spirited face, much better than he had imagined. "Weasley is our king." The song came to him again, only this time it only played the first line.He couldn't help but pursed his lips and smiled at the mirror.

There were only a few people in the auditorium. Not even Hermione would have gotten up so early if it weren't for the final week.Ron walked to the place where the trio usually sat, and Harry pushed hot coffee and ham and bread in front of him, and there was a hot golden egg in the bread tray.Breakfast outside of the scheduled hours would not be so rich, Harry must have greeted the house-elf in the kitchen. "Thanks, I'm starving." Ron quickly stuffed the fried egg into his mouth.Harry was also eating his own share, with his head down, looking absent-minded, and it took him a while to bite into a big bite of bread as if suddenly remembered. The windows on either side of the auditorium rattled slightly.Ron wanted to ask Harry if he thought there would be thunder during the game, but for some reason he didn't.He and Harry hadn't been alone like this in a long time. It's an embarrassment to say, but he did miss it—the days of talking and laughing by the fire, playing wizard chess together, or just sitting quietly together like this.

"how are you feeling?"

Just when Ron was thinking about this
