Suspect in Jinling

Chapter 109 Postscript

This postscript is for this statement.

The original inspiration for the article "Jinling Suspected Murder" came from reading Prince's "Fifteen Days in Two Capitals" last fall. I was very interested in the portrayal of the White Lotus Sect in this novel, so I came up with the original idea for this book.

The cases in the first volume and the second volume are inspired by Mr. Qu Tongzu's "Chinese Law and Chinese Society", Chapter 4 Classes and Chapter 21 Marriage of "Between Master and Slave".

The cases involved in the third volume of the story include the Huizhou silk case in the Wanli period and the unjust case in the Zhengtong period. The books I consulted include "Da Ming under the Microscope", "The Art of Being Ruled", "Dugong Tan Compilation", etc., and many specific case details The source of inquiry is rather cumbersome, so I will not indicate them here one by one.

The fifth volume, part of which refers to history, and part of which is fabricated by oneself. If readers are interested, they can consult history books by themselves.

rest of the bibliography

Architecture: "History of Ancient Chinese Architecture", "The Soul Hidden in Wood", etc.

Criminal Law: "Chinese Law and Chinese Society", "History of Penalties", etc.

Life category: "History of Chinese Fashion (Yuan, Ming and Qing volumes)", "The Journey of Beauty", etc.

Specifically, the study of the Nanjing bureaucratic system structure during the orthodox period of the Ming Dynasty, the origin and characteristics of various sects in the Ming Dynasty, and the Ministry of Household Affairs in the Ming Dynasty, etc. Most of the information is based on research literature. The author tries to retain the real names and surnames of high-level officials in history as far as possible within the ability.

Finally, this is the first time I have written a mystery novel, and the first time I have created an outline. Although the ending of this story is very unreasonable in terms of genre, I like it very much. I hope readers like this story. Comments are welcome, thank you all, and see you in the next one.
