I never imagined that one day I would not know what John was thinking.

I once said to John that his thoughts were as obvious to me as an open book.

I'm pretty sure John isn't as angry as he seems. He enjoyed the surprise of being guessed right and the chance to compliment me.

Once, with my back turned to John, I deduced his unspoken thoughts from the way his eyes moved.

That was definitely one that impressed him.

"God, Sherlock, for God's sake, how could you... do you have eyes in the back of your head?"

"I just happen to have a silver-plated coffee pot in front of me." Once broken, it's just some very simple tricks.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen the silver-plated coffee pot in our baby-stuff-strewn apartment.Of course, I know it's in the corner to the right of the third row of cabinets on the left hand side of the kitchen, we just don't get access to it anymore.

All in all, if I've learned anything new over the past year or so, it's that things don't always go my way. When I decided to return from the abyss of death, I thought...

Human emotions are complex and even to a certain extent... uncontrollable. However, I might as well focus on some practical aspects that are more helpful in solving the problem.

John's situation is not good, one of the important reasons is that he can't continue to visit his counselor now.

Euros is traumatized by his posing as a psychiatrist.Afterwards, he changed two psychological counselors, but both escaped from the consultation room within 5 minutes of the first treatment.

"I was in a complete panic," he said. "I couldn't -- now I couldn't sit across from a stranger who said he was a counselor and talk about myself."

I totally understand how deeply traumatizing my sister can be to a person.

But in this age of artificial intelligence, there are always solutions to problems.

I told John that a team under McCoff had developed a robot counselor using artificial intelligence technology. The project was motivated by the fact that some Secret Service agents have psychological counseling needs, but because they have highly sensitive classified information, the government believes that opening up these individuals to other human beings may pose an intelligence risk.

"Your counselor will be a machine. It has the professional wisdom of thousands of counselors, as well as your basic data. And you can safely deduce from its appearance that it is obviously not one of my relatives Fake."

John smiled. After consideration, he agreed to try.

Of course, there is no such thing as a robot counselor. The technological development of our time has been disappointing in some respects.

Mycroft could only provide a talking robot. And what the consultant said will be entered by me.

Mycroft certainly didn't support my plans -- he never supported any of my plans.

"I don't think it's a good idea, Sherlock, you're not a professional counselor."

"I don't think there's anything amazing about their tricks. In fact, John told me once about his and Mary's affairs, and after that 'consultation' I believe he stopped seeing Mary's apparitions. You have to admit my record is not bad, I can play the role of a counselor."

"Ha! You mean that one time." Mycroft raised one eyebrow meaningfully, "Where did your little drama go? Tears? A belated hug?"

I'm again alarmed at the extent of 221B's surveillance, but I'm more inclined to believe it's just McCoff's bluff and a little luck.

"Look, John isn't like us in that he often can't organize his thoughts, and he's used to counseling to help him do that. Now, he needs my help. I can't just sit back and watch, he Is my best friend."

"Certainly. I don't think I can give a more authoritative opinion than you about what John Watson wants, and the precise nature of his relationship with you."

I ignored this yin and yang rhetoric.

In the end, Mycroft reluctantly accepted my plan.

Since I was unexpectedly promoted by my parents to be the "most mature kid" in the Holmes family, Mycroft's momentum when fighting me is obviously not as good as before.

"I need to remind you again that this is a dangerous plan. In the face of that machine you invented, John Watson will inevitably talk about you, and your past history."

"I don't think it's a dangerous thing to know what my friends think of me."

"Sherlock, if you know a little bit of game theory, you should know that sometimes 'not knowing' is an advantage, an advantage that can protect you. Because once something is opened, it is impossible to close it again."

"You mean Pandora's Box?"

"No, Sherlock, I mean your heart."
