So they started chatting and chatting, and even started judging people from other colleges.

"I don't like Slytherin at all, and I certainly don't like Gryffindor a little bit." Hannah Abbott, the little girl who asked Paulina just now, said worriedly. Hufflepuffs are a bunch of, um, useless people, and even think Diggory is a sucker!"

This remark caused a lot of indignation, but Paulina was concerned about one thing, "Who is Diggory?" Is it the sunshine boy?

Hannah pointed her to a boy sitting in the front, who kept looking at Paulina.

He noticed someone introducing him and gave them a friendly smile, which Paulina smiled back.

"He's really nice, and he's good-looking." Polina turned her head back. "If they call him Buttercup at least proves one thing—they're jealous of his looks, after all, whoever grows up A troll's appearance would make him feel inferior, but what's his name."

Hill said brightly, "Cedric Diggory, you're quite right." He let out a loud laugh, "And he's really good, and he's definitely not what they call a creampie."

"Why haven't Durmstrang's people come yet!" Polina was holding up a golden wine glass to observe, and she heard someone complaining, so she looked over curiously.

She saw a few Gryffindors waiting at the door, shivering from the strong wind and refusing to return to their seats.

"They're coming! In the lake." A dark-skinned boy shouted and pointed to the lake. "Look at the lake!"

Paulina leaned forward and listened carefully—she was not noticeable at all because everyone else was like her, and she heard a very strange sound coming towards them from the darkness: it was a suppressed hum. Sound and suction sound, like a big vacuum cleaner moving along the river bed...

She saw the calm, dark surface of the water—but it was suddenly not calm. The underwater in the middle of the lake caused a commotion, the water surface was like a huge splash, the waves hit the wet lake shore, and then a large whirlpool appeared in the middle of the lake, like a huge plug, suddenly pulled out of the lake Pulled out.

A long black pole rose slowly from the center of the vortex, and then Paulina saw the sail rigging.

"It's a mast!" she said to those around her.

Slowly, majestically, the great ship emerged from the water, shining brightly in the moonlight. It looked eerie, like a skull, like the remains of a freshly salvaged shipwreck, with a dim, foggy gleam from the hanging windows that looked like ghostly eyes. Finally, with a sound of splashing water, the big boat came out completely, bumped on the choppy water, and began to drive towards the lake shore.A moment later they heard a splash, and an anchor was thrown into the shallow water, and another snap, and a plank hit the shore.

The people on the boat were coming ashore, and Paulina and the others could see the clips of these people passing by the lights of the hanging windows.Paulina noticed that they were both tall and strong. But as they got closer, and walked along the lawn into the light of the hall, Paulina realized that the reason they looked big was that they were wearing a kind of fur cloak with matted fur.The man who led them to the castle wore a different fur, though: silvery white, soft and smooth, much like his hair.

Polina guessed that the man was Karkaroff—a person who often appeared in Ms. Maxim's mouth. Of course, the adjectives for this name were usually cunning, despicable, shameless, and so on.

Then there was the friendly exchange between Karkaroff and Dumbledore——Polina was not interested in this, she continued to raise the golden dinner plate and observe with interest.

But even if she didn't pay attention to Karkaroff, someone tugged her sleeve to make her pay attention.

"Krum! Merlin, it's Krum!" Hill screamed.

"I can't believe it!" Hill said in a tone of shock—at this time, the Hogwarts students were queuing up the stone steps behind Durmstrang and his party, "Yes Krum, Paulina! Viktor Krum!"

"I saw it." Polina nodded, and then said with a little interest, "He's famous, I know, a Bulgarian Quidditch player."

Hill looked at her in shock, then let out a ridiculous whoosh with his mouth open.

A boy next to him picked up his words and shouted "A Quidditch player? He's one of the best Seekers in the world! Didn't realize he was a student!"

As they walked through the halls with the rest of the Hogwarts students, Paulina saw some boys jumping up and down on tiptoe, trying to get a better view of Krum's back. The girl frantically rummaged through her pockets as she walked—

It looks really ridiculous.Paulina thought bitterly. But when she turned her head and saw Beauxbaton's classmates sitting motionless on the Ravenclaw table, looking very dignified and elegant, she proudly puffed out her chest.

"I'd like his autograph if I could," Hill said. "Have you got your quill, Bolly?"

"No, maybe you can sneak back to the break room to get it—remember to get more, I want it too." Billy said, tapping his plate.

Paulina, seeing Krum and his Durmstrang schoolmates still gathered at the door, seemed uncertain where to sit.So she said, "Perhaps you could sit more closely—if you want to see Krum up close, then make room for the Durmstrang men."

Only then did the boys call the students around them to sit forward as if they had just woken up from a dream.

"Krum and his schoolmates will be sitting behind the long table - I mean I can switch seats with you if you want, I'm not interested in Quidditch," she said with mock indifference.

So that got her lots of friendly looks from Hufflepuff and -- she sat down next to Cedric Diggory.

She looked at Digory's slightly startled eyes and couldn't help but smile.

"Hi, I'm Cedric Diggory." Diggory said with a smile, "Welcome to Hogwarts."

"Thank you, I'm Paulina McCartney," said Paulina, "and it's an honor to be at Hogwarts, too. Hogwarts is really great—if nothing else Seeing handsome guys here is enough to make me happy."

Digory smiled shyly, and then said, "I believe this is the first time I've seen beautiful girls like you at Hogwarts."

Although the Hufflepuffs were quick enough, the Durmstrangs sat at the Slytherin table.

Durmstrang's students took off their heavy fur cloaks and looked up at the dark fluorescent ceiling with interest.

"They're really strong." Hill looked at them enviously, "but where do you think they'll sleep? We can give Krum a bed in the dormitory. Bolly, I'd like to give him my bed, I slept on a camp bed."

"I would give him the whole dormitory," Boli exaggerated.

"Boys." Hannah curled her lips.

Hannah tells Paulina.Over there at the staff table, Administrator Filch was adding some chairs. For today's grand occasion, he put on that musty old tuxedo.

"But there were only two more people left," said Hannah, poking her head out. "Why did Filch bring out four chairs? Who else would come?"

"It is said that in previous years there will be the Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Magic and the Director of the Department of Sports and Sports of the Ministry of Magic. This year is probably the same." Paulina replied with her head supported, "I am too hungry, when will it start? Woolen cloth?"

"Soon." Hill said, staring closely at Dumbledore.

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, ghosts—and especially distinguished guests," said Dumbledore, looking at the students with a smile. "It is with great joy that I welcome you to Hoag Watts, I hope and trust that you will be comfortable and happy here."

Furong doesn't think so.thought Paulina.

"The Tournament will officially begin at the end of the banquet," said Dumbledore. "I now invite everyone to eat and drink to their heart's content, as if at home."

He sat down, and Polina saw Karkaroff immediately leaned forward to talk to him.

The plates in front of everyone were suddenly piled with food.Paulina watched all this happen in amazement, "It's amazing." She said, "Is this created by magic itself, but as far as I know, magic must follow the basic rules of Gump's transformation, right?"

"Of course not," said Digory. "These are the dishes that the house-elves in the kitchen have made, and here they have just been moved to your plate."

Paulina nodded knowingly, and then enjoyed the food.

"I didn't expect there to be French dishes here." She said pleasantly, "Can you eat delicacies from all over the world like today? I saw a lot of dishes from other countries."

"That's why today is special," Hannah said, "but the usual food is delicious too——I like the mint ice cream made by the house elves."

Billy made a gag face, "Only you will like it."

"Is that French?" Diggory asked Polina in a low voice, tilting his head. "It's that big plate of stuff next to the big piece of steak and kidney pudding. It looks like a hodge-podge."

"It's really French. It's bouillabaisse," said Paulina. "It's creamy and delicious." Fleur's favourite.

Digory snorted, then moved the plate of fish soup over, then reached out to scoop up a bowl and handed it to Paulina.

"Perhaps you are not quite used to British food?" said Diggory kindly. "I don't think you will refuse French food."

"Thank you." Paulina accepted it emotionally. "You are really careful," she said. .
