Chapter 22 [Prelude]

The fire was burning brightly in the room, and Cory could smell the smell of burnt charcoal in the air, but Sani was still squatting in front of the fireplace, constantly adding charcoal to it.

Cory turned sideways, he wanted to remind Sani, but his throat felt dry as soon as he made a sound, which made him uncomfortable.

Corey coughed.

"Oh, my dear sir." Sani got up and rubbed her apron and approached, "You finally woke up, do you feel better now? Do you want a drink?"

Corey shook his head.

Sani reached out to Corey's forehead, "It's still hot, Damon, your body is not as good as before, why do you have to walk back in the rain in such a cold day, I'm really worried about you."

Cory held Sani's hand. He couldn't get up, sick and weak.He didn't know what to say to respond to Sani, he looked at Sani's hand, which was no longer fair and beautiful, and he thought of his mother's hand.

"I appreciate you, Sani," Cory said slowly.

"You should love yourself more, Damon. If I hadn't called you, I mean, I can't imagine, you have a high fever and a coma, I'm terrified. I remember when you came back last night, your hair was wet The ground is dripping with water, but you still smile at me." Sani squeezed Cory's hand tightly, "God, your hand is so hot!"

"No, Sani, this is normal, you don't have to worry." Corey quickly comforted Sani, "But you shouldn't be so close to me now."

Corey closed his eyes and kissed Sani's hand, the feel of his skin almost driving him mad.Even being sick can't stop his demands and desires from his body. It's only been a month since his last time, which is too fast.

He hated this particular cycle, even though he felt that time was slowing down here.

Corey frowned. He had a hard time keeping himself away from Sani.

Cory grabbed Sani's hand tightly.

Sani looked at the man in front of him, his face was pale but his hands were hot, and that kind of high-temperature heat continued to pass through.Sani remembered what happened to Mr. Rosen before, and to be honest, she had lingering fears, but she was happy staying with Corey, and she couldn't refuse.

Sani said softly: "I just hope you get better soon. Miss Hilton has just returned, and she will come again in the afternoon. I can't stay here for too long, and there are some things waiting for me to do. If you feel tired, you can Go to sleep, and may God bless you."

Corey let go of Sani's hand and gave her a smile.

After Sani left, the room returned to silence. Corey stared at the ceiling with his eyes open, the familiar heat in his body was rushing up desperately. He felt tired, but couldn't sleep.

Cory looked out the window, there was no snow, the ground was wet, and the sky was as gray as ever.

It would be nice if it didn't rain yesterday.

Corey suddenly wanted to see snow, although he hated the cold and loved the sun.

Corey's consciousness was chaotic, his nose was blocked so he couldn't smell anything, and the air was as pure as if there were no impurities. There was a dead silence outside the door, he couldn't go out, and no one came to him.He was lying on the bed in vain, as if he was doing his last dying struggle.

Being sick always makes people vulnerable.

Corey wondered if he fell asleep, if he slept comfortably.Anyway, when he came back to his senses, Claus was already helping him change the towel on his head by his bedside.

She didn't tie her hair up today, her long pomegranate red hair fell on her shoulders, full of vitality.

"The fever is gone." Klauris adjusted her white-rimmed glasses, "What do you think, Damon?"

"Not bad." Cory smiled. "I have to say, Cloris, you look a lot prettier today than ever."

Claus directly ignored Corey's words.A man always likes to use what little energy he has left on meaningless things. He is too good at deceiving, and this point is well understood by Clauris.

Corey continued to smile, but he didn't feel much better, the heat continued, but at least he could speak normally, the hoarse voice before him was unacceptable.

He looked through Claures, and he thought the room was dark, but he didn't know what time it was, and there was no clock to remind him.He looked to the window, the curtains were drawn so he couldn't see out.

"But there is one thing you must pay attention to, Damon." Clauris became serious, "Although it was caused by a cold this time, the frequency of your body fever is also increasing, and you know what this means .Your gender differentiation period is later than ordinary people, and many aspects of you are immature."

Corey's eyes were still on the curtains, and pictures kept popping up in his mind, the low bushes, the short withered yellow grass and the heavy sky that seemed to fall.It was weird, he didn't know why he was thinking about it.

Corey said casually, "Oh, Claures, I see what you're trying to say. But you're obviously wrong, Mr. Williams, he's so frightened that he won't come near me when he's in heat."

Clauris: "Then I will prepare the potion for you, don't worry, I will reduce the dose so that it won't harm the child."

Corey: "What are you worrying about?"

Corey's tone rises slightly, which makes his whole sentence feel like it's going to fly.

Cloris saw that smile again, the fake sly smile.

Corey: "You know the potion is not a panacea, it doesn't solve anything, it just makes things worse. Pile everything up and explode. If you were an Alpha, I would gladly accept your help of."

Clauris was speechless, she could only look at Corey helplessly, and Corey faced her with a smile.

This was clearly not a successful conversation.

She didn't know how to describe it. Cory was very stubborn in some ways, but his stubbornness seemed to be correct.

Perhaps the worst source of all is that Cory doesn't have a partner who cherishes him.

It's not just about material satisfaction.

Klauris and Cory had a simple dinner together - in Cory's room, delivered by Sani. There seems to be no specific etiquette in this family, such as eating must be at the table.

Cory's dinner was monotonous, and he looked disapprovingly at Cloris, who said she liked the look.

After that they chatted in the room, and they didn't plan to leave until the medicine in the medicine bottle was dripped.

It was late at night when Klauris left, and Cory was sleepy from his medication. He walks Claire to the door, and Arthur takes her back.

Cory came back in a daze and sat down in front of the fireplace. He wasn't wearing much, and his hair was up in a mess.

The white light from the fluorescent lights shone down on him, and he looked listless. Those dull blue eyes were staring at the flickering flames in the fireplace.

Cory felt the heat, or maybe it was overdone.

Cory got up and turned off the light, climbed into bed and fell asleep in the dark.

Corey heard a faint sound, the tick-tock of one of those old-fashioned wall clocks.

Corey frowned.

He wanted to turn over, but he couldn't actually move. His whole body was weak, and the bed became his only support. And the heat that surged up from inside his body tormented him again, and he felt like he was lying on the flames.

Corey barely opened his eyes, and he struggled to control his breathing.

He couldn't see anything in the dark, and the curtains were closed.Corey looked up at the door, but he didn't hear the sound again. The weird pendulum sound seemed to be a hallucination, the product of fever.

The heat traveling down his throat made his mouth dry and he thought maybe he should drink a glass of water. He remembered that the water was placed on the low cabinet in front of the window, very close to him.

He stretched out his hand as a matter of course.

There was a loud bang when his hand hit the low cabinet, and Corey almost swung it with force. His hands fumbled wildly on the low cabinet, and the sound made his brain even more confused.

Cory sweeps everything to the floor, including the clear water glass.

The cup rolled around on the blanket, and the spilled water darkened a small piece of blanket. But in the dark, such traces are minimal.

Oh what is he doing.Corey sat up silently, he pressed his abdomen, and the long-lost pain came.

The author has something to say: Thanks to Glutton and 0_0 for mine =3=

Let me explain in particular that the setting of this article is ABO+ nonsense. The nonsense is marked before, and the unmarked ones are all from Baidu, so the message [especially in the text that Omega can only be discovered at the age of 16] comes from Baidu Information [After the children are born, there is only a basic distinction between male and female, which is the same as now. 16 years old is the gender differentiation period], don’t take it as my setting to avoid misunderstanding, thank you w
