Chapter 26 Professor Quirrell (2)

After the game Harry was cheered by everyone who held him up like a hero.Everyone's enthusiasm lasted for a week, even the biting cold wind could not extinguish their happiness. After the Quidditch match, Harry, Ron, and Hermione began to go to and from the library frequently, desperately looking for things about Nicolas.Because when they were on the Quidditch pitch, they got some news from Hagrid, for example, the name of the three-headed dog is Lu Wei, and the thing that Dumbledore put on the third floor of Hogwarts is Nicolas of.And because of Snape's incantation, even Hermione now believed that Snape wanted to kill Harry.

"Then why did he kill Harry?" Jane sat in front of the fireplace in the common room, flipping the pages of the book in her hand to help them find out about Nicolas.

"That's because he didn't want Harry to win the race!" said Ron viciously. "He could do it. He's been targeting Harry since the beginning of time. And more importantly, Hermione has seen, He was chanting mantras all the time."

"So what if it's a solution to the curse?" Jane asked.

For this question, both Harry and Ron showed constipated expressions, because they would rather believe that Snape would give them candy at Christmas than believe that Snape would save them.

"But we all saw it at the time, no one was chanting spells at all except him," said Hermione.

"We're just assuming." Jane closed the book in her hand, and she took another one on the chair beside her, and continued to search: "Then assuming that Snape really wanted to kill Harry, then why did Snape really want to kill Harry? He wants to save us again? He can actually stay out of it."

"That's because Harry found out his secret," said Ron, then looked at Harry sitting next to him, as if wanting some sort of affirmation: "Harry found out about his injury, and he wanted to go Steal from Professor Dumbledore."

Jane was silent for a while, because she found that what Ron said also made sense. If Snape really wanted to steal from Dumbledore, then maybe he'd do something to Harry. At least this reason sounds much more normal than the previous reason for winning the game. However, she still maintained a negative attitude towards the idea that Snape wanted to murder Harry, because she didn't think Snape would kill a child so blatantly, and more importantly, everyone knew that he hated Harry. If Harry really died because of this, then his suspicion is too great.Snape couldn't have done such a mindless thing, unless he was really stupid to a certain extent. But judging from her previous contact with Snape, she didn't think Snape was a brainless guy, so Jane still thought that the probability of Snape wanting to kill Harry was not very high.

On the contrary, it was the garlic-scented Quirrell who aroused her curiosity.

According to her understanding, the reason why Quirrell smells like garlic is because he wants to avoid vampire attacks.Others may not know the blood race, but Jane knows that the blood race just doesn't like garlic, not afraid of garlic. What's more, the garlic smell on Quirrell's body is too strong, as if to cover up something-for example, the unusual rancid smell.

While Harry and the others were trying their best to find information about Nicolas May, Jane spent more energy on finding out about Quirrell. Then she discovered more interesting things - Quirrell was a student of Hogwarts Hufflepuff, and he was very good in his student days.Because I encountered vampires and old witches in the forest, I kept getting garlic on myself.Of course, this is not the point. The point is that she found that Qi Luo used to wear a different hood, but he has been wearing a hood since he met the vampire.

Then the problem is coming!

If he used the garlic to ward off vampires, what was the purpose of the hood?

He wears a turban every day, which has obviously become a habit. The formation of a habit is not a matter of overnight, but more of a subtle influence. But Quirrell's habit didn't seem to have happened normally, but suddenly.

What secret is hidden under his hood?

Where did the rancidity he covered with garlic come from?

These two issues are what Jane is most concerned about now.So when she met the Weasley brothers on the way back to her dormitory one day, she thought that maybe someone could help solve this problem.

"Hey, Fafrey, George, where are you going?" Jane stopped the two Weasley brothers and asked with a smile.

"We're going to the auditorium," Fred said.

"See what we can help with," George said.

"Christmas is coming."

"So we need to give everyone a little bit of entertainment."

Faced with the two brothers' accompaniment and singing, Jane thought it was quite interesting, so she didn't interrupt them.

"So now, did you stop us for help?" Fred asked.

"Or are you losing your way in life and need guidance?" George said.

"I got a very interesting gadget." Jane walked slowly to the window by the corridor, just in time to see Quirrell walking back to the castle from the direction of the Forbidden Forest. Then she turned to the brothers and said, "I thought it would be a good idea to give you this as a Christmas present."

"You want to give us something?" Fred looked at Jane strangely.

"I thought you should use an owl," said George.

"Maybe you want to be an owl," Fred said.

Jane didn't answer, she just took out a can of candy from her pocket: "It was given to me by someone else, but after I tasted one, I thought it was for you."

"Why?" George asked.

"Why don't you try one, it will be more interesting if you find out the answer yourself?" Jane felt like the incarnation of mammon, luring others to jump into her pit.

Fred and George looked at each other before the twins simultaneously put a candy in the jar.

"Green?" George looked at the candy in his hand and put it in his mouth. As a result, leaves began to grow on the top of his head, his hands became branches, and his two legs became roots. The whole person was like a big tree that could walk around. As he walked, he called, "Look, Fred, I've become a tree."

"This is really interesting!" Fred said pleasantly.

"This change will continue until the sugar is completely dissolved." Jane explained from the side.

The candy in Fred's hand was brown, he couldn't wait to swallow it in one gulp, and then turned into a sparrow.

"The changes are random," Jane said, and she watched as Fred flapped his wings and landed on top of George's head, trying to make a bird's nest out.

The two brothers were very interested in Jane's candy, and they couldn't wait to take it from the sugar bowl in Jane's hand when they recovered.

"Although this is a gift for you, I think we should make this gift more interesting." Jane said with a smile, "Why don't we make a bet."

"What are you betting on?" Fred asked.

"We can both." George answered.

Jane turned around, looked at Quirrell who was about to walk to the castle, and said, "Let's bet on whether you can take down Quirrell's turban!"
