[HP] Spring Mountain is Sleeping
Chapter 9 Mountain Dwelling Years
"Who let you out?"
Tom squinted his eyes, looked at the sun that was approaching noon in the sky, and looked at the black-haired man who suddenly leaned against the cave entrance at this moment.
"Can't I come out?"
"Beware of the cold." Tom snorted. "You'd better go back to sleep."
"eventful."
Severus tried to hold on to the stone wall and walked down two steps, looking at the place curiously - it was the first time he had left the cave in two months - there was a narrow path outside the cave, leading to the valley below. Now Tom was standing in the path, with his wand in one hand, and a little green thing floating around him.
"Watch your legs," said Tom loudly. "Don't kick any rocks."
Severus didn't bother to listen to him at all, and walked a few more steps, feeling that his body could support him, he left the stone wall and walked down at a faster speed.Seeing this situation, Tom hurriedly gave up what he was doing, stood in front of the potions master, and slowly guided him to the bottom of the valley, reminding him all the way.
Everything was normal, including Severus' refusal to take the former Dark Lord's hand through the turns and steep places.
"What were you doing here?" Severus asked casually, looking around the unfamiliar valley.
Tom waved his wand, and the little pile of plants that had been floating above came down to them.
"Gathering herbs," said Tom gently. "I think we'll be making more potions soon. I know how you feel when you've been away from the cauldron for so long."
"But my magic power hasn't recovered much yet." Severus replied sullenly.
"So we still need Rivedale, you need to get well soon."
However, Severus didn't seem to care what Tom was doing, not even the ingredients that caught his attention. He didn't bother to take another look at the herbs, but just stood there, lazily and quickly surveying the entire valley. After a few minutes, Severus stepped forward and walked straight ahead, with Tom following suspiciously. Now, it was a bit strenuous to walk forward. The wind in the valley blew the thin robes of the two men into two small close-fitting curves, fluttering along with the branches and leaves of the nearby plants. Some of the flowers on the vines brushed against their bodies, but the leaf tips quietly caught the hem of their robes, and they had to stop to deal with these situations.
Seeing the front clearly, Tom suddenly became nervous.
Severus had stepped into the blaze of color ahead - lilies were growing at the gentle bottom of the valley, white and pink flowers in bloom.Due to their morphological differences, it is impossible to confuse them with the Rivedale in the cave.It was pointless to test a potions master's discernment on the difference between Lily and Riverdale - the man had absolutely no intention of lying down in it.Tom saw from behind that Severus's white robe was almost blended into the flowers, and the black hair that grew to his shoulders was blown by the wind, revealing a faint line of white face, still like a lily growing on a high place.
The same goes for him himself, Tom thought, after two months of recuperation, and the skin of both of them could definitely rival the delicate petals of a lily.
But the immediate priority was not to appreciate the Potions Master's flowing hair. Tom felt that it was time to verify his achievements in the past two months.
"Do you remember what the most expensive lily in the world looks like?" Tom leaned closer to Severus, watching the potions master's slender fingers caress a lily, and it was stained with yellow pollen.
"Curly, dark red petals with light green or gold stripes, I think it's a bit like Rivedale..."
Tom peeked at Severus, and the Potions Master said without hesitation a rare lily that was recorded in the books, and his eyes drifted over the ordinary varieties around him, as if he was not very satisfied with them.
"No, you're wrong, dear."
"Absolutely. It's one of the raw materials for Felicia, and it's hard to get."
"No, my potion master. You forgot that the most expensive lilies have red petals and green stamens, but the important thing is that their color should be pure enough to be free from impurities, and very bright...like a red lily. Green-eyed beauty we call 'Lily'."
"Shouldn't I really expect the Duke of Darkness to remember a potion formula that is a little more complicated than a love potion?" This purely fictional species obviously challenged Severus' cognition, "'Lily' lily? Where in the world Is there such a strange thing?"
"That's obviously called Lily. We've all seen it with our own eyes, haven't we? I remember you used to like this kind of flower very much."
"It seems that I can no longer stand Mr. Riddle's aesthetics, and I have never heard of it being used in any formula." The black-eyed man replied angrily, "I can use the flowers in front of me to imagine the combination , is simply abominable. Any intelligent scholar would not call such a lily 'precious', and those who say so must have been bitten by the molestation fly."
very good.
Tom didn't intend to argue with Severus. With a wave of his wand, he summoned the cauldron in the cave to the grass, and then the stirring rod and ingredients, one by one, fell to them.He threw food and water into the cauldron, and cast a "blaze of fire" beneath it.
OMG...it was still green beans, corn, and oatmeal, every meal was the same thing, and Tom forgot to bring the spice jar again.Severus had lost his sense of taste loss for a while.
"Tom." Severus curled his lips, and picked up the matching large stirring rod.
"You don't need to do it, Sev." Tom hurriedly grabbed the end of the stirring rod, and after a brief stalemate, he snatched it away.
"I feel like I'm responsible for our stomachs and our tongues."
"I will give you this chance, but not now. You are still weak, and I need to soften these beans, so the taste cannot be good." He turned around, blocking the wind with his back, "be patient for a while. Go and see the flowers, bask in the sun, maybe pick some herbs, or sort the pile of herbs."
Amid Tom's continuous softening spells, Severus reluctantly accepted the task, he found a place to sit down out of boredom, and went to prepare the herbs.
