[HP] Seven Nights Talk

Chapter 5 The Lion and the Snake

After Hagrid left, the Dursleys were uneasy for a long time.Because they tried their best to prevent Harry from dealing with those "weird people" again, but failed. In their guess, this will undoubtedly mean the next whole month of nonsense - think about it, Harry is finally proud, and he is about to go to their most hated, "abnormal" magic school Class begins!

But to their surprise, Harry didn't look much different from before.Even, Aunt Petunia gave him the right to go out and wander around at will, but he preferred to stay in the house.None of the three Dursleys had the guts to see what he was doing in the room, and could only murmur to themselves: This is getting weirder and weirder!

If Harry had known they thought so, he might have told them that he really wanted to go out and wander the streets rather than learn Occlumency under the tutelage of his nemesis.Oh, of course, the Dursleys didn't know yet that the most dangerous Dark wizard was hiding in their house - God forbid they never did.

Learning this thing was a disaster in the first place. Both Harry and Voldemort disliked each other, and whenever they spoke, the room was filled with the smell of gunpowder.Voldemort hadn't intended to interfere at all, but he was so used to laughing at Harry that the best excuse he could come up with now was Harry's slow learning progress. Then Harry figured it wasn't his fault at all, because he couldn't help but think about bad memories of Snape teaching him Occlumency in fifth year when he was practicing, and it was hard to clear his head.

And that added to Voldemort's conversation, as he was relentlessly sarcastic about both of them - Harry and Snape. In getting along day and night, he got too much information from Harry's eyes, and already knew what happened to most things, including the undercover Snape.

Harry couldn't do anything about it.Given the premise that he couldn't hurt the other person, he was determined to ignore how vulnerable his brain was to Voldemort (come on, Dumbledore already said that). He could also understand Voldemort's reaction when only one mouth was left in his body, but that didn't mean he would endure it forever. When Voldemort made another sarcasm, Harry finally broke out unbearably: "Teach me if you have the skills! Otherwise, you won't be able to get better if I fail!"

As soon as the words came out of his mouth, Harry felt that it was going to be bad. Voldemort must have found another opportunity to belittle him and promote himself. But strangely, the diary was silent for a while. Then when Harry felt that the quiet atmosphere was enough for him to try to clear his mind again, he heard Voldemort's voice say, "I don't want to admit it, but you're right this time."

And so, what followed was weirdly harmonious, or so Harry thought. At that time, half of August had already passed, and the remaining half month was full of assaults.Harry had been skeptical that things would only get worse, but it seemed Voldemort could be a good teacher as long as he didn't overuse his tongue.

It is also Occlumency, Voldemort will not only teach to empty the brain like Snape, but another more deceptive method-before making eye contact with the other party, let yourself think of something else, irrelevant matter. As long as you maintain this state at all times, and skillfully avoid eye contact at critical moments in the conversation, you can basically ensure that other important information in your mind will not be noticed.Of course, it is best to clear your brain before going to bed, so as to avoid uncontrollable development in sleep to some places that should not develop, thus revealing your secrets.

Harry thought it was a genuinely Voldemort-esque approach, as he had clearly taken the quicker route. But at the same time, he had to admit that this method was really effective and easy to use.Although he still didn't like Voldemort very much, but anyway, he really didn't expect a failed result.

On the night before school started, Harry finally managed to escape Voldemort's Legilimency once, although it was only for 1 minute. But this is undoubtedly a phased victory, even Voldemort said: "Beyond imagination."

Harry had collapsed on the bed exhausted or would have rolled his eyes at him. "You don't need to say any more, I know what I look like in your eyes—even if I can't successfully capture you." Skilled wizards can keep their brains closed anytime and anywhere, such as Snape, for example Voldemort, or Dumbledore. In contrast, he feels that it is not worth mentioning that he exchanged such a long time for 1 minute of safety.

Voldemort remained on his bedside table, and from his vantage point he could only see Harry's pointed chin and nose, and his slightly heaving chest.Sure enough, times have changed, he has never seen the savior really relaxed before.Boys are not stupid, but they are always too impulsive most of the time.He moved slightly in his heart, wanting to remind the other party that he was not an ordinary wizard, and he was something to be proud of even for a minute, but his words changed when he spoke: "The arrogant lion suddenly has self-knowledge, I'm really not used to it."

"Fuck you (Damnyou)," was all Harry replied, still lying on the bed.He felt that he and Dumbledore should not look at each other for more than a minute, so he finally felt relieved.Thinking that he would be able to go to Hogwarts without worry tomorrow, he couldn't help but feel happy.Ron, Hermione, and many others - he was going crazy thinking about it. "No matter what happened before, thank you this time."

If Harry got up at this moment, he would surely find the diary's lips froze for a second. But he didn't, so all he could hear was Voldemort answering him was, "Gryffindor too fickle, you've taught me again." Instead of answering, he rolled over and buried his head in the Under the covers. This made him sleepy, and he soon fell asleep.

Although invisible, Voldemort could now tell from Harry's breathing whether he was awake or asleep. For example, now, he knew that a little movement would never wake up the savior, so he jumped from the bedside table to the bed lightly, and then jumped on the quilt twice, only then could he see half of Harry's face.

It was a little different from the seventh grade, and even more childish compared to the first grade he had seen.Well, but this is all an illusion, the actual situation is a person with low magic power, but for some reason is always very firm.

If possible, Voldemort would have sat with his legs crossed and his head in one hand, looking at the man who had failed him so many times. But it was a bit of a challenge for him now, so he fell to his side and continued to stare at the face.Although he really knew many ideas of the savior, he found that he still couldn't understand the logic of the savior, from the beginning to the present.

First of all, at the beginning.Although the god of death gave them several chapters, if they really want to drill, there must be loopholes. At least when he himself heard "you can't use magic to hurt the other party", he immediately thought of the Muggle method. For example, burning fires and flooding water, as long as the savior is willing to do it, he can definitely do it, even if he can't kill him, it can make him feel uncomfortable for a while.

But the savior didn't.It's not that I didn't do it, it's that I didn't even think about it.

Then there is the middle process.Although he is a book now, the savior still stuffed him into his arms without hesitation. He still remembers the feeling of the other party strangling him tightly in the bar.Well, the bar can also show that the savior is afraid that he will die early and fail, then the zoo is completely beyond imagination. To make an inappropriate analogy, if he is asked to hold a harmless but annoying guy in his arms, he will definitely not be happy. The most likely thing is that he won't even take a second look.

This reminded Voldemort that in that white mist, the Savior seemed to be really trying to comfort him.

Finally it is now.In his view, teaching the Savior Occlumency is a last resort, at least it cannot be said that he is willing to take the initiative to do it, but the Savior really ignored all the gossip he had before, and in the end he was able to say to him A word of thanks——

In this regard, Voldemort must say that no one ever made him say it sincerely. But the savior is clearly sincere, towards his enemies.

Thinking that he had used the clumsy excuse of "we are the same people" to lure the savior into darkness, Voldemort felt that he was really stupid. With a brain circuit like the savior's, I'm afraid he will never be able to understand his goal.No wonder Dumbledore likes Harry so much... The superficial experience is a bit similar, but the inside is completely different. But if he had to explain why there was such a difference, he felt he couldn't figure it out.

It wasn't a big deal anyway, Voldemort finally thought. He bounced off the bed again, and saw the packed boxes on the floor (Hedwig was staring at him in the cage). He was going to Hogwarts tomorrow, he couldn't think about such meaningless questions anymore, he still had a lot of things to do.

Thinking of this, Voldemort jumped onto the bedside table again.Harry rolled over behind him, muttered something, but was quickly quiet again.
