[HP] Seven Nights Talk
Chapter 7 Ron's Prophetic Halo
Even if Mr. Weasley was a good-natured man, he wouldn't feel radiant when he heard such words. He lowered his face and said, "This has nothing to do with you." Out of sight behind him, the twins continued to show their disdain with grimaces.
"Is it right?" Mr. Malfoy pretended not to see their expressions, and showed a smirk, "There are so many children, with your little income, it is really hard for you to support them." In front of him, Draco also raised his small chin, looking like a miniature version of Lucius.
Undoubtedly, it turned into a war between the Malfoys and the Weasleys.
Harry, who was caught in the middle, opened his mouth and closed it again. He looked to the left, then to the right, and finally felt that he had been selectively filtered, so he stepped back silently to make room for the two families—he was not naive enough to think that he alone could stop the two families war of words. And he thought of a question just now, and felt that he had to ask Voldemort: "How did you know that Malfoy and the others came over just now?" The diary is clearly inside the clothes, so you shouldn't be able to see anything, right?
Voldemort responded with an extremely disdainful snort. "The Dark Lord is omnipotent," he said boldly.
If it were normal, Harry would definitely sarcastically go back. But he thought about the consequences of the Malfoy family knowing the thoughts in his head, and now he only confirmed one sentence: "...you made me use Occlumency on purpose?" Can't you tell him directly?Do you have to use a provocative tone?
The other party's voice suddenly fell silent.
Harry tried two more times, but to no avail.Voldemort neither admitted nor denied it, as if he had suddenly become selectively deaf. Then Harry heard the train whistle blowing again and realized he had to get on.After him, the adults of the two families who were at odds with each other finally realized this, and could only leave each other with expressions of "we will see each other next time" before sending the children to the train.
Draco was no problem at all, because Crabbe and Goyle had already gone up and secured a place for him; the Weasley children had to find their own seats, except for Prefect Percy, who had a fixed compartment , and by this time it was quite late.As for Harry, he got into the car before them, and walked straight to the rear of the car according to his vague memory. The last car was indeed empty. He put his luggage away and was finally able to sit down.
The movement made Harry touch the bottom pocket of his suit. After thinking about it, he took out the diary and put it on the table. The sunlight coming in from the window just hit that spot, and he couldn't help thinking that Voldemort must be happy with the table. Finally, he thought of what happened just now, and couldn't help muttering: "It won't matter if you tell the truth."
The diary remains unresponsive, like it's really just a diary.Harry rolled his eyes inwardly, knowing that Voldemort had made up his mind not to tell him the truth—he probably couldn't understand the thinking of a Dark Lord. Then it occurred to him that it would be great if Ron could still find the carriage this time, and of course Hermione would too.
Maybe Merlin heard his prayer, because Harry had just finished thinking this way when the sliding door of the carriage was opened from the outside. It was Ron who poked his head in, his face flushed with anger hadn't completely faded away, but he was visibly relieved when he saw that Harry was the only one sitting inside. "Hi, hello, can there be one person in this car?"
"Of course, come on." Harry was very happy to see his old friend, and sat down on purpose. Then he realized that the diary was still out there, but it was too strange to hide it now.
But Ron obviously wanted to deal with his luggage more.Harry glanced at the diary, thinking that the other party probably wouldn't want to go back into his clothes at this time, so he stood up and helped Ron.Just as the two of them lifted a large box to the rail above the seat, another voice sounded at the door: "We'll be there soon, this is the last room."
Harry turned his head, just in time to see the pale, pointed face behind the door that had been opened again, followed by two large men.The commotion just now obviously did not completely divert Malfoy's attention, because he has now found him.
"You're really here, I'll just say..." Malfoy got stuck in the middle of the sentence.Because after Harry turned his head, Ron turned his head too. "You two sitting together?" He asked in a high-pitched voice in disbelief, rolling his eyes back and forth between the two of them.
Ron was in the back just now, and he didn't see Harry who was caught in the middle like Fred and George did.Now that he heard Malfoy's words first, he subconsciously felt that Harry must be Malfoy's friend, and the expression on his face could not help but bring a little vigilance. "What does it matter to you?"
Malfoy clearly saw that he was strong on the outside but capable on the inside. The Weasleys hadn't even turned up when they had greeted Harry earlier. In other words, even if Ron really knew Harry, it was only a few minutes ago. "Oh, of course I don't care," he said with a smirk, "I just came to see my friends." He deliberately bit the word "friend".
On the left was Ron's suspicious gaze, and on the right was Malfoy's triumphant gaze. Harry felt that he had become the middle layer of sandwich biscuits. Now he really wants to say something in his heart, that is, these two guys are too naive!
Seeing that Harry didn't refute, Malfoy's smile became even more smug.Harry's silence was taken as an acquiescence, so he followed up with his own words: "Come and sit with us anytime you want. You know, Harry, after you get tired of this red-haired, freckled face. "
Ron glared at him.But Malfoy was followed by Crabbe and Goyle, and he couldn't do anything, just stared angrily at the three of them and walked away. And as soon as they left, he immediately turned to Harry and asked, "Are you familiar with them?" His first impression of Harry was not bad, but if the answer is yes, he should consider changing cars .
Harry saw what he was thinking, so he could only clarify quickly: "No, it's just acquaintanceship." He was right, the conversation between him and Malfoy didn't add up to ten sentences; but he didn't want to disturb Malfoy's attitude of playing silly tricks with children was misunderstood by Malfoy, and he couldn't help it.
Ron's complexion improved a little, but he still looked at him with a scrutiny: "Really? Then I have to say, I have never seen people from the Malfoy family with their eyes above the top so easily invite people .” He paused, “Are you from a pure-blood family?”
"I don't think so," Harry replied. He could be considered a pure-blood, but he certainly couldn't be considered a family of pure-blood marriages in the magic world.
"That's really weird..." Ron was obviously confused. Then he finally remembered that he hadn't asked Harry's name, "I'm Ron Weasley, what's your name?"
After half an hour.
The tables and chairs in the carriage were strewn with torn food wrappers, scattered candies and chocolate frog cards.Harry and Ron were sitting face to face, and the conversation had shifted from Malfoy to Harry himself, to snacks after the trolley came by, and now to Hogwarts.
"My brothers have already started, nothing new. However, when sorting, I think I should go to Gryffindor." Ron was ambiguous as he tore open a new packet of toffee say. "Actually, Fred and George have been deliberately pissing me off with what they've learned... just wait and see, I'll learn it too!"
Harry knew too many things now, so he just echoed a few words depending on the situation. For half an hour he'd had a bad feeling - not that he thought badly about Ron, but about himself - that people who had been through the war had been a little uncomfortable with the topics they'd heard Interested. That was kind of bad, and he'd have another seven years at Hogwarts, if he was right.
Could it be that only the Voldemort card diary can communicate normally?Harry couldn't help but glance at the dusty leather surface. He felt a little unmotivated, so after listening to their conversation, Voldemort probably just felt that he was not nutritious?
This look was caught by Ron, and he followed it. "Is this your thing? It looks ancient. Is it magical?"
Harry was suddenly inspired. "It should be." In order to prevent Voldemort from being found unclear about his turning movements in the future, he simply gave the other party an excuse: "I bought that in Diagon Alley, it's a diary. "If you put it this way, basically no one will go through it.
Ron nodded, then looked up again at the suitcase on top of Harry. "You have it with you... Looks like you like your diary, don't you? My mother would love you if she knew." He obviously took the tattered cover as a sign of a bargain .
But Harry didn't hear the second half of the sentence, because he was so terrified that he choked unexpectedly.He...likes...diary?He dared to swear to Merlin that he didn't let Ron put the wrapping paper of the honey cauldron in the diary just because of his consideration! He carried the diary with him not because of the reason Ron said, but because of the last goal of saving the world!
Ron obviously wouldn't know this, he didn't know it at all. "Take it easy, Harry, I won't go around talking about it." He felt himself a really good, understanding friend when he said that.
But Harry coughed harder at his words.
"Is it right?" Mr. Malfoy pretended not to see their expressions, and showed a smirk, "There are so many children, with your little income, it is really hard for you to support them." In front of him, Draco also raised his small chin, looking like a miniature version of Lucius.
