HP Tom Riddle

Chapter 87

"You have to change my book back later!" I emphasized.

Riddle just chuckled a few times and didn't speak.

The gramophone played a song made by the recently popular Lala sisters for the wizards who were forced into exile because of Grindelwald. Riddle's performance was not like a person who had only read a few books, but rather I'm so much like a guy who can't dance, I can still step on Riddle a few times now and then--well, the first one was accidental, and the latter ones were added because he actually laughed at me.

"Oh, Elena. You are not a lady at all." Riddle complained pretendingly, "No one can bear a female companion like you except me."

"A guy with such a bad personality like you can't find a female partner. Fortunately, I pity you." I snorted a few times and replied, "You have to thank Merlin for having such a generous and careless friend like me."

"Oh, Merlin." Riddle said, "You have really thick skin."

I was a little sleepy after a few dances, and these few dances were enough to cope.

"No, I'm going to sleep."

"Would you like some of your dances?"

"Come on, Riddle, you just want to see me make a fool of myself."

"I really want to see how different the dancing was from more than 300 years ago."

"Then you are really looking for the wrong person. I only know a little bit. You know, I have been alone in the castle for 14 years, and I have never attended a party."

"Why have you been alone in the castle for 14 years?"

"Hey, Riddle, Chaosan," I said, "it's bedtime—well, okay. Every Shafik has aspirations, and nothing can hold a Shafik down for what they like. I Dad likes dragons, Alexander likes history, me, I haven't found anything I like."

"Did your father abandon you because of the dragon?"

"No, Riddle. He just likes dragons more, and researches all kinds of things about dragons. I was going to him, but those stupid goblins ruined my good business." I said, "Okay , The bedtime story is over, it's time to go to bed." I said to Riddle imitating the tone of Senior Weasley, "My good baby will wait until tomorrow night to continue listening to the bedtime story."

The corner of Riddle's mouth moved visibly.

I went upstairs to bed in a very good mood.

Riddle followed soon after, and fell asleep in his room.

The banquet at Senior Malfoy's house, I don't know if he is so dedicated to every guest, at around five o'clock in the afternoon, he sent a Pegasus to pick us up.

"Honestly, I'd rather he had sent a portkey."

Riddle smiled: "You won't fall alone this time. Besides, all the goblins are in Gringotts."

"Okay." I took the skirt and got into the carriage first.

As usual, Riddle reinforced the carriage before coming up: "You can trust the Malfoy family's carriage, even if you don't trust him, you should trust me, and trust that I won't let you get into trouble."

"Yeah." I replied while straightening the hem of my skirt.

"Perhaps you should look at your current appearance. This is truly perfunctory." Riddlepin held up his white wand, carefully looking at the patterns on it, "What is the origin of this wand?"

"I don't know, this is not a wand given to me by my elders, but a wand that I found by accident when I was packing up. Do you want to know its material? The person who made the wand might be able to tell."

"No, that's fine." Riddle said with narrowed eyes.

Three flying horses pulled us into the sky, and I held onto the railing of the carriage a little nervously.
