Diverging through HP
Chapter 18
"...your eyes are so fascinating that I forgot to operate..." Julie looked down at the dark and foul-smelling potion in the cauldron, and shrugged her shoulders at Professor Snape. "Look, as beautiful as your eyes, as enchanting as the shadows before the dawn."
Professor Snape made a smiling expression, looked straight at Julie and said, "Tell me, what is written on the fourth line of the operating instructions?"
"After boiling the potion for seven minutes, stir clockwise for seven and a half counterclockwise for eleven weeks." Julie picked up a rag and wiped the wand. "I miscounted the professors."
"Did you leave your brain at home after summer vacation and forget to bring it?" Professor Snape took out his wand. "Disappeared without a trace."
"Your potion should now be emitting a faint, silvery-white steam," said Professor Snape with 10 minutes left, before turning to play with Harry Potter's workbench.
"Potter, what is this?" Julie looked over and saw dark gray gas coming out of Harry Potter's cauldron.
Well, it looks like she wasn't the only one who got a zero in her first Potions class.
"Homework: Twelve-inch paper on parchment paper on the properties of moonstone and its use in medicine, due Thursday," said Professor Snape before dismissing get out of class.
"You offended Professor Snape again?" Blaise Zabini yawned holding his textbook.
"Accidentally overheard this morning." Julie also yawned. "I swear, that's a compliment."
It was still raining outside, and many puddles had accumulated on the grass. If they stepped on the dirty water and splashed it four times, the corners of the robes of several people would be wet to varying degrees in a short distance.
Andrea has already arrived at the auditorium, talking to the students next to her while eating, and she doesn't look at all the trembling look of last night.
Draco Malfoy arrived late after Julie had eaten half of it, followed by a fat boy.
The boy was from the Flints, relatives of the former Quidditch captain. But the boy was not of the lean stature of his relative, but rather like Goyle and Clark.Looking at his red eyes, he must have caused trouble.
Daphne Greengrass leaned over and asked, "Why are you here so late after class has been over for a long time?"
"Something happened." Draco Malfoy frowned, his tone unhappy.
Seeing that Daphne Greengrass was making fun of herself, the other students would eat their own to avoid embarrassment.
In the afternoon, there are Divination and Defense Against the Dark Arts classes.
Professor Trelawney is a professor who talks a little bit. It is said that she is a descendant of a famous divination family, but her generation is really not doing well. When Julie came to the classroom, Harry Potter was inside, and there were tattered leather-bound books on the table.
"You will find on your desks a copy of The Dream Interpretation Guide by Inigo Inmag. Dream interpretation is a very important method of divination for the future and is likely to appear in your 0.w.Ls exams A question. Of course, I think that compared with the sacred art of divination, whether you can pass the exam is really unimportant. As long as you have insight, certificates and grades are trivial matters. But , the principal is willing to let you take the exam, so..."
Her voice trailed off, sounding more rambling.
Julie found a Ravenclaw girl as a partner, and the two laboriously flipped through the book for a long time to interpret dreams.
Then Professor Trelawney assigned homework, recording and interpreting dreams for a month.
Then the students parted ways, with Gryffindors and Slytherins going to Defense Against the Dark Arts, Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws diverted Herbs and Transfiguration.
To be honest, in autumn, at three or four in the afternoon, when I saw an aunt who was nearly fifty years old wearing a pink cardigan and a black bow tie, many students who yawned forgot to put their jaws back.
"Good afternoon, students." Watching the students quickly take their seats, Professor Umbridge said in a sharp voice.
"Good afternoon." A sparse reply.
"That's not allowed." The professor was a little serious and face-saving, and everyone rehearsed.
Draco Malfoy pushed aside Blaise Zabini to sit with Julie.By the way, this guy has been around Julie since the end of the fourth grade, saying that he wants to do something, and he is very open-minded, only interrupting occasionally, saying that he doesn't want to do something, and drove away a lot of Zhu Li Li's suitor.
"Alright, put away your wands." Julie looked up at Professor Umbridge, and picked up the book from her bag.
Blaise Zabini poked Julie's back with his finger from behind, motioning her to look at Hermione Granger in the front row.
The Miss Know-It-All of Gryffindor raised her hand aloft, but Professor Umbridge ignored her, intending to make a comeback.
"She's going to let us hold books to fend off the enemy." Julie leaned on the back table, and Blaise Zabini poked his head out between them.
"Professor." Julie raised her hand. "What if we graduate? You don't want to tell me that I'm protected in school, and I'll die if I'm killed after graduation?"
Draco Malfoy elbowed Julie in the stomach.
"Who's going to kill you ma'am?"
"Who knows? For a good-looking person like me, it's not surprising that there are those weird people." After speaking, Julie showed a sweet smile from a concave angle.
Blaise Zabini burst out laughing from behind, then shrank back and shook his shoulders.
"Hasn't the professor encountered it before?" Julie slammed down the hammer.
The whole class burst out laughing, and some boys even slapped the table while laughing.
"Tell me, what's your name."
"Julie, Julie Hiddleston."
"Oh, good boy of Slytherin, but I don't remember a family named Hiddleston." Professor Umbridge's face was deformed, but his voice remained unchanged.
"Professor probably forgot that Slytherin actually recruits witches of the same breed." Julie leaned on Draco Malfoy with her arms folded, her face innocent.
"Come here, Miss Hiddleston." Professor Umbridge looked directly at Julie, and suddenly asked her to send a roll of parchment to Professor Snape.
Professor Snape was in class, and the first-year freshmen had never actually been exposed to potions, and the comparison was too dangerous, so he had to be patient and point them out one by one.
"Professor." Julie knocked on the door. "Professor Umbridge asked me to pass it on to you."
Professor Snape raised his thick black eyebrows, and then opened the parchment.
"Closed?"
This time it was Julie's turn to raise an eyebrow. "This professor seems to be a genius. He succeeded in using the first spell in the exam so he tried to make us study, only learning the theory from the textbook and not practicing."
"But you know I'm rather stupid. If I make a mistake at that time, the whole Slytherin will be ridiculed."
"Come to my office after seven o'clock at night."
"Then..." Julie raised her head slightly, and tapped the parchment with her chin.
Professor Snape turned and left, and the wooden door slammed shut in front of Julie.
Afterwards, Julie didn't go to class either, and just as the rain stopped outside, she went out for a stroll.
The author has something to say: there will probably be another chapter tomorrow, did I increase my bookmark hahahaha
