[Harry Potter] My Half-Blood Prince
Chapter 12: Chapter 12
After a long time, Harry didn't react, and finally Harry was driven out of Snape's office by Snape.
When he left, Snape was still mixing the potion.
Snape glanced at Harry in a panic, and the lines on his face softened unconsciously. That child has indeed grown up, and he is not the same as before.
Ron had been waiting for Harry for a long time, and as soon as Harry came back, Ron immediately surrounded him.
"Harry, what's the matter, Snape didn't make things difficult for you?" Ron asked worriedly.
"No, I'm going to help Professor Snape prepare the potion." Harry said.
"You helped Snape prepare the potion?" Ron seemed to have heard something great, "Snape is really willing to save Hermione?"
"Yes, in fact, Professor Snape has been concocting potions for the past few days," said Harry.
"It's so kind, I don't believe it." Ron En said.
"Indeed it is," said Harry.
There are more and more mysterious incidents happening in the school, and everyone is afraid that it will be themselves who will be in danger in the next second.
Everyone dare not act alone, and every time they have to find several people to accompany them.
But they knew in their hearts that if they really met the mysterious person, no matter how many people they had in their party, it would be useless.
Everything broke out suddenly, and everyone's most powerful support - Principal Dumbledore was not in the school at this time.
The only person Harry could rely on was Snape.
Harry didn't know why the only person he chose to trust was Snape.
Perhaps it was because Snape happened to be by his side several times when he was in danger.
At the same time, Harry appeared in Snape's office again.
He looked at the closed office door, and Harry took a deep breath as usual, feeling vaguely looking forward to this moment in his heart.
Looking forward to coming to Snape's office to help Snape a little.
Maybe it was because he was worried about Hermione that he worked so hard to prepare the reagent.
Harry knocked on Snape's office door.
"Come in." The voice was low and without any emotion, faintly coming from inside.
"Professor Snape, hello." Harry greeted Snape as soon as he entered the office.
Snape was still working hard beside the cauldron, flipping through the book in front of him, and mixing the reagents.
The dark circles under the eyes of Snape's pale face were more obvious than yesterday's, as if he hadn't rested at all.
"Mr. Potter, are you standing there waiting for my order to move? Have you forgotten everything you learned in Potions class?" Snape's words were still as mean as ever.
"Sorry, Professor, I'll start now," said Harry.
Professor Snape has been working tirelessly to prepare the reagents. All he can do is to help out a little. He must do this well.
"Professor, do you want to crush this pod?" Harry asked while holding it.
"Give it to me," Snape said.
"Ok."
Harry handed it over, and in a daze, Harry heard the small voice again, which kept ringing in his ears.
"kill him......"
"kill him......"
The voice kept repeating in Harry's ears. Harry was startled, and the pod in his hand lost his grip and fell to the ground.
Harry looked around, but there was nothing around.
Apart from him and Snape, there was no one else in the office. Where did the voice in his ear come from?
Snape scowled at the puffed pods scattered on the ground.
"Mr. Potter, are you unable to do little things well?"
Snape's voice was low, and it could be heard that Snape was very unhappy at this moment.
"I'm sorry, Professor."
Harry quickly squatted down and picked up the puffed pods.
"kill him......"
"kill him......"
That voice kept coming back.
Harry looked up hesitantly, and he looked at Snape.
"Professor Snape, can you hear something too?" Harry asked.
"What sound?" Snape asked.
From Harry's expression, Snape could see that something was wrong with Harry at this moment.
"In the past few days, there have been voices surrounding my ears, and the voices appear occasionally, just like now, there are voices talking all the time."
"Voice? What are you talking about?"
Snape became wary.
While Harry was talking, Snape looked around to make sure no one else was eavesdropping.
"The voice kept saying 'kill him,'" said Harry.
"When did this sound start? Has it always been there or has it only recently?" Snape asked.
Any slight change in Harry's body may be related to the mysterious person.
"No, it just happened recently, at the beginning of term to be exact," said Harry, only audible at school.
That voice was eerie and creepy.
It's as if someone has been giving orders in the dark.
Snape stopped what he was doing, and he slowly came in front of Harry. Snape's eyes were as sharp as those of an eagle, staring straight at Harry.
Snape raised his head and looked at the ceiling of his office. Except for a few thick water pipes, there was nothing on the ceiling.
"When did you find out you could speak Parseltongue?" Snape asked.
"I only found out when my uncle took me to the zoo a long time ago," said Harry.
"When you hear the snake speak, can others hear it?" Snape continued to ask.
"No, Professor, I'm the only one who can," said Harry.
"Okay, I see." Snape raised his eyebrows slightly.
Before Harry knew it, Snape picked up his wand and cast a spell at the pipes in his ceiling.
The water pipe in Snape's ceiling burst immediately, and a giant python fell from the pipe.
Harry had never seen such a huge python, with its long body rolled together, it could swallow a person at any time.
Before Harry could see clearly again, the tall figure stood in front of Harry again, and he aimed his wand at the giant python.
"I think I know what's going on."
There was an indistinct smile on Snape's gloomy face.
"Can move quickly around the school without me knowing, can hide in the dark and give orders at any time, the only voice that can be heard by Potter is the snake that keeps moving in the water pipes that run through the entire school."
Harry admired Snape's intelligence, which had never occurred to him, and Snape could deduce everything from a single sentence he said accidentally.
When he left, Snape was still mixing the potion.
Snape glanced at Harry in a panic, and the lines on his face softened unconsciously. That child has indeed grown up, and he is not the same as before.
