HP When Harry is a Genius

"Well done, Harry!" said Percy, looking very pleased. "I've got twenty Galleons! I'm sorry, but I must find Penelope now."

"Well done, Harry!" said Seamus Finnigan.

"Brilliant!" Hagrid's voice boomed over the throbbing heads of Gryffindor House.

"As good as your dad," said a voice in Harry's ear.

Harry turned and saw Sirius standing next to Lupine, looking both shocked and delighted.

"You saw I won!" said Harry excitedly, handing the Snitch to Sirius: "I caught the Snitch! Thanks to the broom you bought me!"

The handsome man reached out to catch the Snitch, and the little golden thing kept flapping its wings in front of his index finger and thumb, trying to escape: "Nice job!" He said happily, "Your dad used to always win Pass me the Snitch."

Everyone seemed to have won the Quidditch Cup.The party went on all day and into the evening, and even Sirius joined them.

Fred and George disappeared for a while and came back with bottles of butterbeer, fizzy pumpkin juice and big bags of Honeydukes sweets.

"How did you guys get that?" Angelina Johnson asked, as George began tossing toad mints at the crowd.

"We got a little help from Padfoot." Fred winked at Sirius.

Only one person was not at the party.Hermione sat disbelievingly in a corner, trying to read a huge tome called Life and Social Habits of a British Muggle Household.Harry left the table where Sirius had started juggling with the butterbeer bottle and came over to Hermione.

"Have you not been to the game?" Harry asked her.

"Of course I've been," said Hermione, in an oddly high voice, not even looking up at Harry. "I'm glad we won, I think you did a great job, but I have to finish the book by Monday."

"Come on, Hermione, get something to eat," said Harry, looking over at Sirius.

"I can't, Harry, I have 420 pages to read!" said Hermione.Her voice sounded a little hysterical.

Harry reluctantly left Hermione's corner.

At one o'clock in the morning, Professor McGonagall arrives in plaid pajamas and a hairnet, insists that everyone go to bed, and is surprised that Sirius Black hasn't left Hogwarts yet!It wasn't until then that the Gryffindor House party was forced to end.
